Nice job so far with your videos! I started to follow u when u had around 500 followers, I really like it! Please bring Invicible, just a underated song.
Hi, thanks. Do you mean over on Instagram? I’ve already done invincible. So you can go and check it out now. Made a load of playlists for each album so they’re easy to find too
Hi I just discovered your videos after hoping someone would make this sort of thing for Muse/MB for years. I was surprised to see the prime distortion of all things being used for Matt's big riff tone and it sounds spot on to my ears! So of course now I'm thinking about getting one, but I already have a fulltone ocd which has done the job so far. I was just wondering what made you try and go for the prime distortion, and if you think it's worth getting one? Thanks, and great videos!
Hi there. Thanks for watching my content and for your kind words. I try my very best when putting these videos to better, and I aim to improve with each video I make. The Prime distortion for me is an interesting pedal for sure. Since I've made this video my pedalboard has changed slightly, now I have my board in stereo and I've layered up the sound with one side having the prime distortion and the other with the big muff to get those chunky tones. Putting both sounds together sounds amazing to me. I initially used the Prime distortion for this just because I had the pedal, and you have to use what you've got. I wanted something that had some great gain and could cut through and something that would sound different from the verse and choruses. It's a very specialised pedal for me, I only tend to use it for riffs and power chords, never for full chords because it just loses the higher notes and the intervals sound terrible. Your full tone OCD is still a brilliant pedal. I just like having a lot of options for gain pedals so that you can really dial in something you like. To answer your question, I personally think its worth getting a prime distortion, I wouldn't keep it on my board if i didn't. It has its strengths and weaknesses just like anything else, and I get sounds out of it that work well for me for playing music.
Hi Harry, thanks for the amazing video! I am fairly new to guitar FX, but do you put the whammy pedal before the distortion? I own an Line 6 Pod GO, but I can't help that the whammy sounds really weird.
Hi there! Super glad you like the content I make. Yes I put the whammy before my distortions. the hammy might sound weird because its hte pitch shifter in the line 6 unit and not a proper digitech whammy pedal
@@harrychrisrobin Thank you, Harry! Time to get the Digitech Whammy then. ;-) Last quick question (if that’s ok, otherwise, I understand) - in your opinion, if you have the ZVex built in version of the Manson Ma-2 + the Line 6 Pod, what do you recommend getting as a seperate pedal? Perhaps the MXR distortion? I play primarily Muse songs and nothing else.
just wanted to say that budget’s not a big issue but space would be the limiting factor, so I’m trying to make use of my Line 6 as much as I can and fill in the rest with essential pedals that gets me as close as possible to your tone. Cheers!

@@harrychrisrobin Yes on Instagram, sorry. When I said to do Invencible, I was talking to do a Sound Like, not a full cover.
@@migasbalasteiro ahh ok yeah I’m sure I can do a sound like for invincible some day yeah
Great video as always 🤘🏻

Hello Harry! Could you tell me what guitar amp are you using? Thanks a lot! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hi there. I simulate all of my amps so it’s never just one amp. They’re all made up of the amps you get in Logic Pro
@@harrychrisrobin Thanks for your answer! :) The sound is good! And when you play live? Do you also use Logic Pro?
@@nesquikpooower yeah I use logic for everything
