Not only this song is an absolute banger, it's also one of the best exercises ever for bassists. The riff on the verses streches the left hand and requires precision overall. Good for technique. Then you release all of that tension during the chorus, go hard in that process, and this usually puts a huge smile on your face. One of the most satisfying songs to play as a bassist.

@@mad_bad_cat Yeah, I've seen a lot of Gen Z fully embracing classics not only from the 2000s but from the 1960s through to the 1990s as well. Part of it is the way certain movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy have re-popularized older classics, part of it is simply that 95% of modern music since 2010 is absolutely soulless, navel-gazing tripe.

Even their newest album WOTP is still cool. I hope Chris, Dom, and Matt stay together forever, even if they stop making album. Long live, Muse!
I don't know what it is about this song but whenever I want to escape, whenever things get overwhelming I come here and blast this song at full volume and just sing aloud, not caring who will hear me. I just go to a world where bad things are not there. I m grown up but whenever I see the stuff that I or people around me are going through I cannot hear it. I just want things to remain like it was when I was a kid, when I used to think that the world is actually a nice place with no bad people, no bad intentions. We teach kids in school through those moral classes, books telling how you should behave, be kind and not hurt others and then we go to the real world it is not at all what you thought it to be, and I think that I, this generation, can make a difference if they want but that innocence gets lost somewhere and we become what we detested And if anybody read this thanks and I truly wish you have a great life ahead
