You made my day Jason! Seeing the picture I sent you with Pappy Boyington and the Japanese pilot who shot him down displayed there makes me very happy! I remember the day I met both of them at a CAF airshow in Harlingen, Texas. It was a special opportunity, once in a lifetime, to meet these two heroes and get their autographs on that picture. I flew to Texas in my Cherokee 140 along with my best friend. I'm glad you're getting it restored and I couldn't think of anyone else who would appreciate it like you. I miss flying so much and hope someday I'll have the opportunity to meet you in person. God bless you! Looking forward to Phoenix flying in July for Oshkosh.
Hi Donald ! Your gift was one of the most thoughtful I have ever received, and I am beyond honored you gifted it. It will be treasured here at Rebuild Rescue along with your constant love and support ! I hope to meet you soon Brother, and thank you for everything.
@@grayparatrooper I'm glad Jason is going to get those autographs restored. They faded pretty badly over the years. I didn't know it was possible either.
Very Enjoyable Utah experience. Thanks Jason for all your hard work. I recently rebuilt my Lincoln MKX back to good running condition with rebuilt transmission, suspension, heater fan and resistor, dual cooling fan, engine head gaskets, new fuel injectors and spark plugs, brakes, rotors, one axle in front. I am not a mechanic but I know how to spot deficiencies pretty good ! God bless. See you with Sam and Mike and Joe & Joe ! Peace ~

This was a fun and great time, it was a privilege to support your efforts. The flying sequences and music choreography are fabulous, I love that music. Thanks for coming out and visiting.
Really cool poster! I met some of Boyington's pilots at an airshow numerous years ago along with a couple of the actors from the tv show. Fascinating discussion with them.
Thanks for another great trip! I am stuck here doing therapy, but I have had yet another inspiration/ motivation. ( it always helps) come on out and visit in Dillsburg,PA sometime! We have a brewery, & barbecue! (Feel free to bring coffee!)
Love these videos. I met Pappy Boyington when I was a youngster at an air show in Washington. Paine Field I think. Robert Conrad starred as Pappy in the tv series “Baa Baa Black Sheep”.
It's so weird to see the old stomping grounds. I used to do a lot of flying out of Sky Park in Bountiful. Nice people there. Thanks for the little glimpse of years past in my aviation memories.
Welcome to Utah. You even have a little bit of our Utah drawl in how we say things. You even pronounced Zion right but it's Zion National Park. I live about 16 miles west of it. It's funny how many folks will say Zion all wrong. I love to tease them a bit and show them how to say it. We do have a pretty great State. Glad to see you had a good time here.
Dude, a good friend of my family, and my dad flew with him back in the Navy, is Pappy's great Grandson. He was the CO of VP-50 when my father was the Command Master Chief back in the day. That poster is amazing!
Mate you nearly lost me a little while ago today you really got me back just be yourself mate it shines true not the bullshit well done to you and all the crew
I currently live in south Luisiana, but moved from Fort Worth Texas. We had 5 holes in our front yard, and tarantulas in our front yard every hot summer. We loved getting them out early, they are so cute as babies!!
Make sure to get museum grade glass for the poster. It will help protect it from UV light and help prevent the fading and it's really not too much more money.
I agree that we need more people like Jason in this world and coffee sounds great except that for me the cost of shipping is more then the cost of the coffee itself.
Wow that was a great video. When you landed in bountiful knew exactly where you were at. I've been by that air port many many times. The shot of that Pratt and Whitney engine was assume. Something about those engines that fasnate me . Just love the sound they put out.
So awesome!!! My kids and I all sat around Kumbaya watching the last video!! Loved seeing my dad, thank you!! The plane shots were amazing! I voted for an air wolf color scheme but got vetoed. My son is wearing his rebuild rescue shirt right now. Too bad Dallas is so far. I happen to be one of Bob Schroeder’s biggest fans. #prouddaughter
Wow that poster that Pappy Boyington signed in 1977 brings back memories. I was in Civil Air Patrol and flew in to the CAF harlingen texas air show in 1977. We flew from Ohio to Texas on a C-123 almost crashed due one inside jet engine used for landings and takeoffs would not start and the other went full power. While there for several days I got to meet Pappy Boyington and Ensign George "Tex" Gay Jr.. They were there signing autographs for a price. I didn't get one as I didn't have much money but that was the way they made money and also lowered the number of autographs because people wouldn't want to pay like me. I regret that every day now. I didn't get to meet the Japanees gentleman as he was not there at the time I was for some reason. I wonder if that poster was from the same show? I was 14 at the time and wow was I into planes. Love your videos hope to see if your able to get "ALL" your projects done! you have a lot on your plate. hehe
What a fun trip. Thanks for sharing about the great gifts people send you. Next time I am in Utah, I will go check out a few of the places you visited.

Again, as I’m going through this course I’m slowing understand more and more of different things that y’all are doing and talking about. Looking forward to the next video.
Pappy Boyington was also featured in the TV series Baa Baa Blacksheep
This was a great video. I watch a bunch of Utah-based channels (the whole Matt's Off-Road Recovery Cinematic Universe) but they don't have cool planes and it's nice to see that great scenery from above. The tents were cool too.
Love Matt’s off road 👍🏼👍🏼
I am wearing my Citizen Blue Angels watch as I am watching this video! 🙂
