Yeah, was definitely more clear with the second watch, always great to go back and see what was missed. For real though, I was not expecting a One Piece Rock Musical but this really worked, Ado really can belt out great vocals.

Honestly it is pretty close to taking my top 1 spot for one piece movies along with secret island. They both took a very different approach to themes and villains. Spoilers for both if you haven't seen. Film red shows an antagonist that isn't evil but with misguided good intentions while being corrupted by the effects of tot musica and wake shrooms. She almost isn't an enemy as a victim of circumstance. The same can be said of baron Omatsuri in secret island. He lost his entire crew that he loved and was taken advantage of by carnation lily. The reveal at the end that he was just a sad old man alone on an island with an evil flower was one of the best and most shocking twists in any movie I've seen.
