Hulk is better off by himself without the Avengers. Oh, and Hulk quit the Avengers after 2 issues, and all the recent movies, cartoons, and video games completely missed the point on that.
The odd thing about Age of Ultron was that the biggest Hulk moment was when he fought Iron Man. Hulk is kinda of a last resort, not an actual Super Hero.it might have been more interesting if he wasn’t actually mind controlled but he just went on a rampage after they dealt with Ultron.
Its not MCU but the film Hulk from 2003 covers Bruce's backstory & tramua quite extensively, the Sins of father theme resonates with Bruce & Betty, heck Bruce's father is the main villian film and it's quite dark & psychological I highly recommend it, it's very underrated.
They did well with him at first, but he never got his big moment in Endgame. I know using the Gauntlet was supposed to be it, but he was the one who should have physically overpowered Thanos, not Cap Marvel.
Doing a Hulk movie comes with expensive caveats so I say Hulk requires a medium to low high budget at minimum. So $90 million to $170 million. I'm using films like The Creator & The Apes Trilogy as a standard. But I do agree it should be dark.
I agree man, It is not that hard to make a good Hulk Movie or Show, all you need is someone like James Cameron or Guillermo del Toro to direct, bring in some talented experienced writers or even comic writers like Peter David or Paul Jenkins or Greg Pak or any of the current writers for Hulk who made Hulk great in the first place and have them help consult with the writing team, bring in the right acting talent like Sam Eliot as General Ross(he was the best one besides William Hurt) Edward Norton or Eric Bana or even Neal McDonough as Bruce Banner(any one of them would sign on for sure with a great script and a director like James Cameron or Guillermo del Toro or just stick with Mark Ruffalo or if not then someone younger that has talent, passion and looks the part at least) Lou Ferrigno or Fred Tatasciore or even Mark Gibbon as The Hulk's Voice(either of them would be great to hear on the big or small screen again), Liv Tyler or Jennifer Connelly as Betty Ross(or again someone new,), Ty Burrell as Doc Samson(he played him in Incredible Hulk 2008), Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns AKA The Leader(though I would go with the guy who played Sinestro in the Green Lantern Movie staring Ryan Ranalds if it were a reboot that is), Josh Lucas or Ron Perlman as Emil Blonsky AKA Abomination(I prefer either of them over Tim Roth because they fit the bill far better and both embody the character way more in my opinion plus Ron's portrayal of Blonsky in Hulk Ultimate Destruction was Peak), Adrian Pasdar as Glen Talbot(He did play him on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but I still think he's a pretty good choice either way), Brian Patrick Wade as Absorbing Man, Hayden Christensen as Rick Jones and maybe Mark Hamill as Gargoyle or Zzzax or Ravage(with a core cast like this your almost guarantied a hit) and with a budget of at least 10 to 15 Million(basically the budget of Godzilla Minus One) or even 50 - 100 Million( The Budget of Incredible Hulk at least) either way that should cover a lot and to top it off with all that you have a recipe for the greatest Hulk Film or show ever made. If it's a show set in the MCU then have it set in between the movies and jump around the timeline and make it about the internal struggle Banner and Hulk have to deal with while the world is out to get them and you can even do a proper origin for She-Hulk and get her right this time along with keeping a dark and epic tone with tragic and somber depths of growth and character development (ON SCREEN) and have levity when Bruce is with his closest ally's like Betty or Rick or Jennifer and give Hulk some much needed ON SCREEN Development alongside Bruce as they are two entities sharing one body, maybe even establish Bruce's D.I.D. and showcase all the different persona's lurking in his mindscape fighting for control. This could all still work as a Trilogy too as long as it has the right balance of depth, action, drama and good pasting, really shows us the strength of this character. Hulk deserves a Trilogy or Show and the fans deserve something good after all these year's instead of us getting basically the middle finger from Disney/Marvel and Hollywood whenever we ask for just one thing for this character. Hulk also needs a new video game cus it's been 19 years since Ultimate Destruction and all we've had since were the Incredible Hulk 2008 Game which was pretty mid tbh, and if you only count solo Hulk games then we've only had those two and Hulk 2003 which was ok Otherwise Marvel's only given Hulk small potatoes like Marvel's Avengers which he plays very slow and floaty with a lack of mobility and really only giving him a tanky shield ability, and Marvel Midnight Suns is well a card game so not much else to say there, same with Marvel Snap only worse. the only good games in recent years with Hulk in it are Lego Marvel Super Heroes 1-2 and Lego Marvel Avengers and those came out in 2013 - 2016 for Superheroes 1/Avengers and 2018 for Superheroes 2 but that's really it for Hulk in general media we haven't had a definitive experience outside of the comics and the closest we had was Ultimate Destruction and Lego Marvel but nothing like what Spider-Man's had over the past 20 years like seriously. even the bad Spider-Man Movies and games still get his character right at least and are still above average compared to other media. And with Marvel and Kevin Feige alongside Mark Ruffalo all claiming that a Hulk project of any kind is just "too expensive or Disney" FREAKING DISNEY!? it's like they're just throwing their hands up and saying "Yeah we give up" or "Screw it we know the people want a good Hulk movie/show but it's much easier to ignore the plight of our audience and just keep making garbage" I mean that's all it looks like to me anyways, The Fans deserve better than this, man we really need a win for once.

There is a potential ray of hope. I saw a report that said that Marvel Studios could do the World War Hulks story as an Avengers film. So, this would pay off Jennifer's "Save it for the movie." line while also establishing the new Avengers lineup after Endgame. The only issue is that the former Avengers 5 (The Kang Dynasty) is still slated to at least begin pre-production sometime in 2025. And if World War Hulks is going to be an Avengers film, it'll have to start production at the end of 2024, or at the same time Avengers 5 is starting up.

I feel like I’m in the minority, but I really liked the incredible Hulk. That movie one I like the Edward Norton casting better than Mark Ruffalo and Edward Norton liked the Hulk he read the comics was really into the character. He wanted to make him the psychological monster that he’s trying to hide and control with the Lou Ferigno TV show. Also you’re correct. I forgot in Age Of Ultron he said he couldn’t have kids but magically shows up with a son in She Hulk (one of the worst things to ever appear on a TV screen)
