Personally I think it should take heavy inspiration from Ultimate marvel vs capcom 3, emphasizing characters unique moves and powers, having a comic book inspired art style, and having some of the most iconic voice actors for the characters reprising their roles, but also take inspiration from the injustice series, with the opening characters interactions, and the ability to interact with the environment.

I think having an Amalgam DLC pack of characters could be a fun idea too. Maybe not as the first DLC cuz people would just be asking for their favourites, but a nice send off pack would be fitting
I think a tag team mechanic would be better. Like let's say you're playing with a Marvel and a DC character together, if you reach level 3, both combine into an amalgam character, and yes, it could also have that by combining Marvel characters or DC characters between themselves.
@@radrno7 I really like this idea, but i feel like this would limit even more who can be on the roster, especially with premiere skins/echo fighters being a thing. Designing amalgam forms for like 4 different green lanterns and such just seems like a lot of unnecessary work. I do love the idea though and wanna see it in action
Honestly. You're throw away line about it being a lego game sounds like a great idea to me. That you can focus on the fact this isn't a "verse crossover" but a love letter to both worlds and you can get way more characters in it. I would hope it's more pre "the Skywalker saga" than the style that they've gone with now because I didn't find it as fun but that might be because they tried to keep the levels to how the films where. taking that style into a story not based on a film might help it shine
What Injustice 2 did with the Ninja Turtles could work with a lot of characters. The way it worked was that you go into the gear menu and you change the turtle’s weapon and the weapon you choose turns you into that turtle. This could work with a lot of characters, Spider-Man with Scarlet spider and Miles morales, the green lanterns, Batman and all his movie adaptations, etc
I’d lowkey be most excited to see the fight dialogue. WW and Thor: Wonder Woman: We’re i come from the Nordic gods are drunken warmongers. Thor: The Greek gods were always coddled. You haven’t faced struggle. Wonder Woman: Do you intend to show it to me. Shazam vs Thor: Shazam: Get ready to feel the thunder! Thor: You are merely playing god. Allow me to introduce you to a real one. Spiderman vs Batman Spiderman: Introducing your friendly neighborhood Spiderman! Batman: Your in the wrong neighborhood kid. WW vs Wolverine Wolverine: I’m the best at what I do. And what I do isn’t very nice. Wonder Woman: And what makes you believe what you do can harm me. Wolverine: Because it’s already been tested on gods.
Despite what form it takes, all I would want from a DC and Marvel crossover is Green Arrow strangling Iron Man and demanding he redistribute his wealth.
Anyone else always love that Marvel/DC crossover with the two brothers? It was very much hidden in subtext, but for those who never got it, the two brothers were a metaphor for the companies of Marvel and DC. Two giants who spent all their time fighting, but ultimately made up and worked hand in hand to make something even greater than the two could do separately.
@@personanonomys6546 I could be misremembering (I mean now that I think about it, assuming there's subtext in a 90s comic seems a bit too optimistic) but at least when I read it, it seemed like it wasn't super explicitly stated. Again, maybe I was just poisoned by the shallow storytelling of the 90s
There could also be a cool mechanic in story mode where you choose whatever fighter you want before each fight. So right before the batman vs spiderman fight starts, you get to choose if you play as batman or spiderman in that fight. And then whoever you choose is the one who wins, because it's the player. You could possibly even have brnaching story beats depending on who the winners of each fight are, but that might be too complex for a fighting game story mode.
Yeah! And it could be a choose your own adventure type story where if you choose the Marvel character and win, the next cutscenes will be favorable to Marvel, and when you choose Marvel and you lose, the next cutscenes will be favorable to DC, which will be a gut punch if you lose as your favorite franchise.
They could implement that, BUT it would have to be a single linear story, where you get only 2 endings, just like 'Injustice 2', but instead of having only the final decision matter, have an ammount of decisions factor into each ending.
Or it could be like Sonic Adventure 2 where there’s a Marvel campaign and a DC campaign, where it’s the same plot but from the different teams perspective.
One thing that could be easy to track for the hypothetical game is having characters randomly changing like in the first crossover. Like one minute you’re on a mission as Hulk but he transforms into Doomsday or Grundy and you have a fight. That way you could also tie it to what comics did while also being creative.
This should've been a collaboration with Thorgi's Arcade, he's great at making hypothetical fighters and building a roster videos out of that in a concise manner. For a DC.V. Marvel game needs to be a celebration of both, and games like MVC3 still have fan modders creating Marvel and Capcom models, so the interest is still there.
I’d love to see a star wars fighting game, not only because Star wars is cool, but I’ve never seen a sword-based fighting game. Plus, having general grievous as the Ganondorf of the game would be really funny. Not sure how you would do non-force sensitives like Han and Chewie though (I can’t really imagine a game without them b/c OT go brrr).
Grievous is much more agile and finesse based than ganon. Vader is more of the ganondorf type, grievous would be something like an ultrafast swordie who gets lots of quick hits in and runs fast but also doesn't have much health
@@apersonwhomayormaynotexist9868 I was more meaning in the sense that he’s pure power and not much else. A noob slayer. I’m imagining the game would have some sort of force power meter system and grevious just wouldn’t have any because he’s not a force user. In canon he was really only any good because he had a reputation that was built on killing weak Jedi, surprise attacks, and unfair situations (ie when he fight Eeth Koth)
You know, I think it'd be interesting to see a full video on your version of TASM 3. The concept you proposed sounds interesting, and I think it's got a lot of potential to be great.
I love the idea of the stages being amalgamations of locations in both universes. I don’t know marvel as well as I do DC but I’m picturing two cities merging together, buildings overlapping each other and crashing into each other. You see the Stark tower and Wayne Industries on opposite sides of the background
One thing that could make the huge character roster work for the dev team, would be having a Marvel game studio and a DC game studio team up for the game. To allow for more characters to be made.
I think its crazy that Arc System Works wanted to put both Marvel and DC in BlazBlue Crosstag Battle, I wish we could see the universe where that happened
I think by the end of this, both Marvel and dc heroes come together to destroy the badguys, pulling the strings, and then everyone is happy, and people won't complain about who wins and who lost. I wish dc and Marvel fans could get along more
As neat of an idea this was, I’d prefer another studio that isn’t Netherealm or Capcom take a crack at a versus game. Aside from all the loopholes the developer/publisher would have to go through, Marvel Vs DC should be done by a studio that is willing to experiment with the formula in a way that feels distinct from other fighting games in terms of gameplay and art direction.
It'd be cool if dlc characters for something like this were non big 2 comic characters, radiant black, Scott Pilgrim, invincible, hell even Rick Grimes could work
As cool as a fighting game could be, I'd like to see a crossover similar to Marvel Ultimate Alliance/X-Men Legends and Justice League Heroes. Action-RPG with skill trees, team bonuses (and special team-up abilities) for the familiar groups and unexpected pairings, with cool interactions all around.
I am curious how they will handle Injustice 3 considering that Kevin Conroy sadly passed away. He was the definitive Batman and with him gone it's hard to imagine how they would handle Batman or if they would just recast.
@@hungaryhippo7294 I thought he was good as Batman but I also think that either the current voice of Batman in the animated movies Jensen Ackles or Roger Craig Smith from Arkham Origins could voice him
I don't know, I think if they just brought another voice actor in then Conroy fans could see it as somewhat disrespectful depending on how it's handled but I think it would be cool to see Batman Beyond introduced as to my knowledge he is yet to appear in that universe
Well in the batman ending of injustice 2 he was gonna start working in the background and semi retire while Barry and Hal rebuild the justice league and Bruce rebuilds the cities destroyed. And since he sorta semi-retired with the only batman related stuff he's doing is working to keep Superman in prison but he does it in the background it wouldn't surprise me if Batman wouldn't appear in injustice 3 at all.
@@TheDoubleD441it wouldn’t be disrespectful at all, when it comes to voice acting, it’s done all of the time, Conroy wasn’t his own FORM of Batman, he was THE Batman, in the broadest way, meanwhile others that have played characters that have died have been replaced extremely easily (like with all of the villains in the ‘66 Batman animated spin-offs) and they did it in a way that still was faithful to the original version that the original actor ESTABLISHED, which makes it a way bigger deal - being a unique version of that character.
I feel like you could include an Easter egg where depending on which universe your characters from there’s a small chance Mxyzptlk or Gwenpool will decide to replace your cameo character for one cameo attack. I feel like it would be interesting if Gwen’s would involve here ripping an asset from the screen and attacking with it, And Mxyzptlk could run in and do a different characters cameo attack but mess it up in some quirky way.
In addition to Premier skins, which I've also always thought would be awesome for a crossover superhero fighter, I think the inclusion of clone fighters, or even variations from MKX based on different characters would be awesome. Since we're already working with 2 different IP's, I think a focus on the multiverse would help as well. That way, you could have alternate versions of characters that would help fit bitter as alternates of the other comic. For instance, Ghost Rider COULD be a Lobos Premier skin (or the other way around), assuming he was included. If not, however, we could have Ghost Rider 2099 be a Wolverine Skin/Alternate, replacing the claws with his chainsaws. Limiting yourself to standard renditions of characters also limits your possibilities. As a side note, seeing Amalgam characters would also be awesome.
I would love if Hawkman and Hawkgirl worked like the TMNT because these too are my favorite couple and I'd love to see them fight together. They still teamup and their alt will be a two person combo. They play slightly differnet giving Hawkman an ake and Hawkgirl the mace.
The skins thing is cool, but this would be a great opportunity for an Echo Fighter type system; pick one or two moves to change on the skins to make them more 'unique', or add an extra passive, such as removing Black Panther's vibranium blast and adding a flechette spray when using Prowler's skin. You could even just take moves from other characters to keep development low (e.g. Prowler is Black Panther with some Batman moves, Deadpool is Deadshot with Wolverine's passive or something)
7:05 funny that you mention it, DC comics actually has *four* Fantastic Four equivalents (five if we count Cyborg Superman, which we won't)! The Terrifics and the Doom Patrol, as you mentioned, along with the Challengers Of The Unknown, a superhero team created by Jack Kirby which actually PREDATES the F4 by three years, and the Metal Men, which bear little connection to the F4 besides being science heroes that get around using a funky hovercraft.
With Wolverine skins, there are a LOT of people that you could reskin Logan as. Laura obviously (and even she has two versions rn, Talon and Wolverine), but also Gabby Kinney (aka scout), Daken, Lady Deathstrike, and even something like Phalanx Wolverine
I think plot wise once the player finds out it’s Myxzptlk and Gwen at some point they start commentating over a fight but it leads to them arguing, and then they have a fight, where the player then decides who to play as. Ultimately they’d knock eachother out which would cause the universe to slowly start unraveling, and in the process the main 4 from each universe would get thrown across the “planned plot” of the game, which is where you could insert stuff from completely different properties if they were to get the rights to stuff like Star Wars or invincible
NOTE: NOT MY IDEA OR CONCEPT, I AM BORROWING AN IDEA THE UA-camR THE4THSNAKE DISCUSSED IN HIS IDEAL CONCEPT FOR AN MORTAL KOMBAT GAME. What they could do, is try bringing back the Variant system from Mortal Kombat X and combining it with the premier skins. To try to explain to the best of my abilities, MKX introduced a variant system in order to spice up the gameplay. Basic moves remain the same, punching, kicking, uppercutting etc. However, each character had 3 different variants that had different special moves and slightly altered the characters skin depending on which variant you picked. For an example, MKX introduced us to Triborg, who came with 4 distinct variants - Sektor, Cyrax, Cyber-Smoke and a secret 4th variant for Cyber Sub-Zero. Each one shared the same base moveset, but also had differing special attacks and combos, all while sharing one spot on the games roster. Netherrealm later did something similar with the TMNT in Injustice 2. For an example to see how this could work in a Marvel VS DC Game: we have The Hulk who acts as the base fighter, with a set list of special moves, voice lines and arcade endings designed specifically for him. But when you change variants, you change into either Solomon Grundy, Doomsday and The Thing. Again, they share the same basic attacks but each one has unique special attacks, dialogue and arcade endings. If that sounds like a lot of work, thats because it is, NOR is it the best option and most likely not possible, but personally, I feel like that this way, we can have as many Marvel/DC characters as need be, without making completely new characters and movesets.
They should make Almagan Characters. Like 2v2, each Team gets am Marvel and DC Character. Then in the fight they could merge to Supersoldier, Dark Claw, etc.
This is actually SICK asf. another idea,id say if they add reed richards or plastic man, they could make them skins of each other, also i feel like if this idea were to actually get made it'd take over a year to make, and it could make over billions of dollars
@@dc7981 i’m a diehard batman fan and everybody that uses prep time as an excuse clearly doesn’t read comics but that’s not to underestimate his power either. supes still wipes tho lol
only a few mins in so idk if you talk about this, but the ui for the charachter select could be like a comic book page where, for instance you have daredevil in a slot along with all the marvel charachters, and then you flip the page and where daredevil was on the screen theres nightwing.
Honestly, I’ve thought about this idea a lot, and you’ve pretty much spoken best for beat what I’ve thought about in my head, which is awesome. Honestly, there’s not much I would change about your concept, but I always thought that if a big comic adaptation crossover were to exist, a lot of guest fighters from other comic companies would have to show up too. Characters like Spawn, the Mask, Hellboy, the TMNT, Invincible/Omni-Man, Conan, heck web-comics are rising in popularity and legitimacy so it’s not impossible to see some characters from there (Erma and Nimona are my favorites so I have bias towards them). Finally, I think Dream from Neil Gaiman’s the Sandman would be crazy to play as. It’s hard to see how something THAT big would fit in-story, but I think they could make it work.
There have been eight Marvel fighting games made by Capcom X-Men Children of The Atom X-Men vs. Street Fighter Marvel Superheroes Marvel vs. Street Fighter Marvel vs. Capcom Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite
Love this pitch! I could also see this kind of game working a lot like the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi games, where there’s a more open space for the fighters and more opportunities for the kinds of moves that can’t be used in an Injustice or Marvel vs Capcom-type game. Also, based on what you said from 2:35-2:42, I really wanna hear your thoughts on the Injustice games, cons of the story, mechanics, etc.
Agreed. There was a game called Marvel:Rise of the imperfects where you could throw stuff and move more freely, but it was not the best game albeit still fun.
In its current state, both marvel and dc LEGO games are getting involved with the multiverse, dc supervillains introducing earth 3 and marvel having a secret wars event but with kang. A crossover game would be the perfect next game honeslty
Okay but like what WOULD happen if Antman went up superman’s butt and grew really big? Cause like superman is super invulnerable. So like would his colon just crush antman? Is he squishy on the inside? Would antman wear superman’s indestructible body as armor? What are the physics here? I think the only logical option is that antman gets crushed in superman’s colon.
I refuse to believe that when it comes to the love and care that a project like this needs that it should be handled by Arc-system works The amount of love they put into DBFZ is so potent that you can feel it All the refrences and the extremely fun gameplay style they are known for would be perfect
A while back i had the idea for a comic book fighting game called "The D List". Which would take lesser known characters from all over comics, not just Marvel and DC and give them a place to shine. Guess it would be kinda like a western Jump Force but exclusively with D List characters.
I actually really like how the tag team mecanic is incorporated in a game like skull girls, you can select 1-3 characters and they are buffed or nerfed depending how many you chose. (Personally I wold incorporate a gimmick like mario kart tag team that gives names to the group depending on who you chose, like Superman, Batman and WW would be “trinity”, Batman and Robin “dynamic duo”, and like Joker and Deadpool be something like “nightmare standup routine”)
Personally for the story I'd replace Myx and Gwen for Super Boy Prime and Marquis of Death fighting and every match is them pulling characters from their respective franchises The Amalgam versions could also be alternate skins for both characters that were combined
I know this might never happen so don't take what I say too seriously. I would LOVE a Lego DC and Marvel game. Imagine Darkseid and Thanos as the main villains and you play as characters like Batman, Spider-Man, Superman, Captain America and many more. Some fun character interactions, a light hearted and fun story, you could do a lot with it
I think these ideas are pretty cool but idrk about the skins thing. The skins while would be a very resourceful way to add characters that are similar in abilities, I think it would undermine the characters as a whole. With them being skins you cant show off their personalities in their animations, movesets, mechanics, etc. It'd just be a couple of characters with unique dialogue if you just have them as skins. For example: Deadpool and Deadshot, Deadshot's gameplay could be more methodical and his moveset could reflect that by having to be a zoner that could set up traps (Do not give NetherRealms this game) and Deadpool well... His level 3 super in MvC3 explains it pretty well. In conclusion, making em dlc's and having like season passes would be better in the long run.
Nightwing needs to be his own slot, or a slot for Robin since he was the first… Nightwing and Daredevil fight completely different and have far different skill sets and move sets.
100% agree that they should utilise skins to bring in more characters even more. I think f4 is a tough one because its hard to choose which one to make main roster as they would take up too much space if its all 4. Skins and kameos would help include all 4. My only gripe with your roster is the dc villains. I agree 4 each for a base roster is good but 3/4 were batman villains. Which even injustice overuses batman characters
I would think there would need to be one character who would fit both rosters: Access, the character owned by both companies who was created for Marvel vs. DC. I mean, especially if Amalgam characters would be used. But what franchises I'd like to see in a video game? I'd love it if somebody would make one that focuses on webcomic superhero characters--give the lesser-known creations some spotlight. And yes, this is partly because I have a superhero webcomic, but I would think it would be cool without my characters even anywhere near considered. Characters like Dasien, Mindmistress, Spinerette, Empowered (that is a webcomic, after all), and such would be pretty nifty. Maybe throw in some characters who originated in webcomics but moved into media where they gained much more popularity, like Axe Cop (he's basically a superhero, isn't he?) and somebody from One Punch Man (though not Saitama--I see no reason to put a one-hit KO character into the playable roster of a serious fighting game).
Injustice 2 could have easily included batman beyond, general zod, grail, sinestro, guy gardiner, arsinal, the flouronic man, Deathstroke, ras al Gaul, killer croc, azrail, ocean master, steel, captain atom, Wally west, by reskinning their characters and that’s just off the top of my head
On the topic of DC and Marvel crossovers... I have wondered why we haven't had a Marvel vs. DC Lego game for years EDIT: I wrote this before finishing the video
The idea I would love if you at the start choose which universe, Marvel or DC, and then the story is that the other universe has attacked your universe (for some reason) and you spend the game finding more of your superheroes, and villains, to join your team. Then you have the online game where you can meet with friends and fight each other with the characters you have unlocked during the story mode
I think you basically hit the nail on the head as far as what would make for a good fighting game. The only thing I really disagree with is the notion that the Doom Patrol are a Fantastic Four parallel. They have a lot more in common with X-Men, I think. That being said, they would make a pretty good alternate skin for the Thing in your version. I'm guessing the player character would be Robotman. Reed's assist would be replaced with Rita Farr, Sue's assist would be replaced with Mento, and Johnny's assist would be replaced with Negative Man.
I’m sorry but the lack of a Green Lantern main villain (Sinestro as a GL skin would be… okay IG, but I’d prefer if not), give me either Yellow Lantern Sinestro or Atrocitus (and NOT how he was modeled in Injustice 2) please
i like the idea of Spider-Man getting skins that change Peter into other spider-men, like Miles, Miguel, Noir, even Otto Octavius (Superior) but i’d also love a Black Spider alternative costume
i dont really like playing modded fighting games for some reason unless the mods are purely cosmetic/adding rollback, i have the utmost respect for the modders but I feel like the different design approaches that modded characters has kind of takes me out of it. right now i really hope capcom is able to make a new mvc game since theyre in talks with marvel again, the fighting game division at capcom seems to love the genre just as much as the fans right now
If Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is gonna have over 150 individual characters, then so can a Marvel vs DC game. As for the two who’s orchestrating this whole affair, it should Mr. Mxy and the Impossible Man. Also, 100% you should include Image Comics characters as at least a guest characters; I.e. Invincible, Spawn, etc. Also-Also… MUGEN exists.

This could work with a lot of characters, Spider-Man with Scarlet spider and Miles morales, the green lanterns, Batman and all his movie adaptations, etc
I’d lowkey be most excited to see the fight dialogue.
WW and Thor:
Wonder Woman: We’re i come from the Nordic gods are drunken warmongers.
Thor: The Greek gods were always coddled. You haven’t faced struggle.
Wonder Woman: Do you intend to show it to me.
Shazam vs Thor:
Shazam: Get ready to feel the thunder!
Thor: You are merely playing god. Allow me to introduce you to a real one.
Spiderman vs Batman
Spiderman: Introducing your friendly neighborhood Spiderman!
Batman: Your in the wrong neighborhood kid.
WW vs Wolverine
Wolverine: I’m the best at what I do. And what I do isn’t very nice.
Wonder Woman: And what makes you believe what you do can harm me.
Wolverine: Because it’s already been tested on gods.
Best idea for a DC and Marvel fighting game I’ve ever seen. Your pitches are always great tho.
Despite what form it takes, all I would want from a DC and Marvel crossover is Green Arrow strangling Iron Man and demanding he redistribute his wealth.
"72 characters. Now that I think about it, that's way too big." Tell that to Masahiro Sakurai.
I was blown away at the mixing of sabertooth and joker to make Hyena. So clever
I dont really think this was hidden and was damn near stated to be so
They could even add access as dlc or a preorder character (I also hate when they do this but it's what fighting games do)
ua-cam.com/video/lDFkTOLfg-o/v-deo.htmlsi=Z0ui2GN6_zBliv7t
They could implement that, BUT it would have to be a single linear story, where you get only 2 endings, just like 'Injustice 2', but instead of having only the final decision matter, have an ammount of decisions factor into each ending.
basically how stan lee puts it, the writer determines the winner
Animal Man would be a great skin for Vixen and Weather Witch (woman weather wizard) skin for Storm.
I always thought that the best way to cross over both companies is in a Lego game, would get a huge character roster as part of it
DC has The Challengers of The Unknown as their original Fantastic Four analogue, too.
Try out guilty gear or soul caliber, most of the characters in those games have blades/on hand weapons
There was a star wars fighting game but uhhh we don't talk about it....
Try samurai shodown, it’s a sword based fighting game and sometimes your sword will even be flung out of your hand and you have to grab it again
And maybe, do a Video about a Persona-like Supernatural JRPG/Visual Novel Game, but with an Owl House skin because of well, it makes sense.
My favorite part about this video is that we share the same injustice 2 main ❤
It'd be cool if dlc characters for something like this were non big 2 comic characters, radiant black, Scott Pilgrim, invincible, hell even Rick Grimes could work
I think a Lego game of it would be the coolest option.
They should cast Bruce Greenwood. He voiced him In Young Justice and Under the Red Hood.
The inclusion of Mr. Mxyzptlk is a great idea! If not him, I think Batmite would be PERFECT in that roll as well.
I feel like you could include an Easter egg where depending on which universe your characters from there’s a small chance Mxyzptlk or Gwenpool will decide to replace your cameo character for one cameo attack.
I feel like it would be interesting if Gwen’s would involve here ripping an asset from the screen and attacking with it,
And Mxyzptlk could run in and do a different characters cameo attack but mess it up in some quirky way.
10:08 I'm glad someone said it, I've always thought that.
Insomniac Spiderman vs Arkham Batman would go crazy
I'd love to see Star Lord and Peacemaker argue about music
It’d be epic to see 3rd party characters like Spawn
3:02 A Woolie appears in the wild!
They should make Almagan Characters. Like 2v2, each Team gets am Marvel and DC Character. Then in the fight they could merge to Supersoldier, Dark Claw, etc.
ua-cam.com/video/lDFkTOLfg-o/v-deo.htmlsi=Z0ui2GN6_zBliv7t
No cyclops in a game like this would have made me cry.
That “When’s Mahvel” reference hurt my soul 😭
This is actually SICK asf. another idea,id say if they add reed richards or plastic man, they could make them skins of each other, also i feel like if this idea were to actually get made it'd take over a year to make, and it could make over billions of dollars
Great video! Loved seeing how our ideas were diffferent. lets hope one day we see this idea come true!
Bruh, you should have called the team up mechanic Sidekicks.
superman casually one shotting everybody
“Still loses to prep time!” Batman fans probably
@@dc7981 i’m a diehard batman fan and everybody that uses prep time as an excuse clearly doesn’t read comics but that’s not to underestimate his power either. supes still wipes tho lol
only a few mins in so idk if you talk about this, but the ui for the charachter select could be like a comic book page where, for instance you have daredevil in a slot along with all the marvel charachters, and then you flip the page and where daredevil was on the screen theres nightwing.
7:37 random but I loved that you used the sejic art for harley
You sold me when I saw J Jonah Jamerson on the cameo roster
I just want a marvel fighting game I don’t care if it’s a marvel vs dc game or something else just please someone make it
Just play UMVC3 bro its mad hard but the most fun marvel game I ever played
There have been eight Marvel fighting games made by Capcom
X-Men Children of The Atom
X-Men vs. Street Fighter
Marvel Superheroes
Marvel vs. Street Fighter
Marvel vs. Capcom
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite
@@GalazyProductions I have played them and I don’t like them
you could play contest of champions on mobile
it might be capcom and it might be mvc4, anyways, when the collection comes out try that, and play umvc3 and mvci, theyre all amazing
Man I love this, all of it, especially the silliness of who the big bads could be!
Bullseye, Jester skins for the Joker
Dr Polaris skin for Magneto
Your thumbnails are like Mr beasts but 1000% less cursed
You should've had green goblin, since he's spider-mans joker. A dude totally obsessed with ruining his life while also trying to turn him evil
Yup. He's like Joker and Lex Luthor in one.
A platform fighter in the vein of crossover games like Smash Bros would be our preference! Great writeup 🙌, very well-reasoned points. Subscribed!
A wild Woolie sighting here? A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
For guests character on the DC side, Ben 10 and The Mask would be cool
I refuse to believe that when it comes to the love and care that a project like this needs that it should be handled by Arc-system works
The amount of love they put into DBFZ is so potent that you can feel it
All the refrences and the extremely fun gameplay style they are known for would be perfect
Personally for the story I'd replace Myx and Gwen for Super Boy Prime and Marquis of Death fighting and every match is them pulling characters from their respective franchises
The Amalgam versions could also be alternate skins for both characters that were combined
I know this might never happen so don't take what I say too seriously. I would LOVE a Lego DC and Marvel game. Imagine Darkseid and Thanos as the main villains and you play as characters like Batman, Spider-Man, Superman, Captain America and many more. Some fun character interactions, a light hearted and fun story, you could do a lot with it
Yesterday I was like “damn I need a troyboy video”. Thank u troyboy
Idk if hes gonna mention it, but his cameos are basically special heroes from marvel vs capcom 1. So very precedented
Gotta have my favs Cyclops and Phoenix in there, would also love to see Magik and Constantine hang out and I bet they would both be so fun to play
I'd honestly just want this game to play as Daredevil... I need more games to play as Daredevil in
4:10 this is something netherealm really needs to take advantage of more
Injustice 2 could have easily included batman beyond, general zod, grail, sinestro, guy gardiner, arsinal, the flouronic man, Deathstroke, ras al Gaul, killer croc, azrail, ocean master, steel, captain atom, Wally west, by reskinning their characters and that’s just off the top of my head
Here is the obligated mention of Heroclix, one of the few games where both Marvel and DC have playable pieces and can fight eachother in teams.
On the topic of DC and Marvel crossovers...
I have wondered why we haven't had a Marvel vs. DC Lego game for years
EDIT: I wrote this before finishing the video
Me too buddy
The idea I would love if you at the start choose which universe, Marvel or DC, and then the story is that the other universe has attacked your universe (for some reason) and you spend the game finding more of your superheroes, and villains, to join your team. Then you have the online game where you can meet with friends and fight each other with the characters you have unlocked during the story mode
I would also want a batman beyond skin and a spiderman 2099 skin just cause it would be really cool and neat
Surprised you didn't include lex luthor i think in an dc marvel game you need the big bald boy
I’m sorry but the lack of a Green Lantern main villain (Sinestro as a GL skin would be… okay IG, but I’d prefer if not), give me either Yellow Lantern Sinestro or Atrocitus (and NOT how he was modeled in Injustice 2) please
All I know is it needs to be a tag fighter that feels similar to MvC or Injustice or something in-between would be fine too.
i like the idea of Spider-Man getting skins that change Peter into other spider-men, like Miles, Miguel, Noir, even Otto Octavius (Superior)
but i’d also love a Black Spider alternative costume
Mr. Mxyzptlk and Gwenpool could also maybe be playable dlc characters, With Mxyzptlk having the option of a Batmite premiere skin.
THIS IS PERFECT EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT THERES NO BANE GRRR
UMvC3: Community Edition is the closest you’re gonna get, champ.
Remember to support your modders, folks! They care more than the corps ever will!
Or MUGEN.
i dont really like playing modded fighting games for some reason unless the mods are purely cosmetic/adding rollback, i have the utmost respect for the modders but I feel like the different design approaches that modded characters has kind of takes me out of it. right now i really hope capcom is able to make a new mvc game since theyre in talks with marvel again, the fighting game division at capcom seems to love the genre just as much as the fans right now
Imagine the visuals / art direction of the game having the golden age comic look
That would be insane. Imagine if you could pick different artists for the characters like Jim Lee, Kirby, or Alex Ross.
Premiere Grundy for Hulk.
Hulk slams the ground and upheaves pavement for Grundy its a tombstone 💀
If Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is gonna have over 150 individual characters, then so can a Marvel vs DC game. As for the two who’s orchestrating this whole affair, it should Mr. Mxy and the Impossible Man.
Also, 100% you should include Image Comics characters as at least a guest characters; I.e. Invincible, Spawn, etc.
Also-Also… MUGEN exists.
Do a video pitching games based on characters like Hulk, fantastic four, Deadpool, blade, spawn, hellboy, ghost rider etc
14:26 a LEGO Marvel/DC game is exactly what we need. The character roaster will allow to have numerous iconic and even some obscure characters. And the character customiser will allow us to make characters that would be missing. Make it happen, TT Games, please.
