Well, this is horribly outdated. 🤯A very nice and welcomed problem to have! Thank you all so much. Whether you found me through LegalEagle or by some trick of the algorithm machine, I appreciate you being here, and showing support. Many people have asked what this channel is about, and if you'd asked me a week ago, the answer would have been "musical comedy with stylized graphics. Something akin to a female version of Weird Al Yankovic." And there will be *SOME* of that, but I'm seeing a TON of interest in the process of content creation (and editing in particular). Quick question about editing software. What're your thoughts on DaVinci Resolve as opposed to AFX? Adobe and I don't really get along that well, and their pricing model leaves a lot to be desired.

We had a very fun time filming a video about the legal themes in some evangelical "cinema" with Devin, and now can only assume any inadequacies with the edit on that one are 100% not your fault! I don't think your title and thumbnail were clickbait, actually just two phrases objectively stating what the video is about without giving away the conclusion. In combination with Legal Eagle's "What happened!?" face I did not expect a shockingly, deep, dark, behind the scenes reveal about him.

Editing is a tough job and editors don't get nearly the credit they deserve. It's very true that the story is told in the editing. I once took an editing class with about ten other students and the instructor gave each of us identical source material and told us to go forth and edit it into a story. Everyone's result was unique. They had nothing in common, except for the clips. A dozen people with a dozen completely different stories, all from the same footage.
I never pursued it further but I was glad I took the class, nonetheless.
