Watched you last night and really enjoyed your wip parade. Your hand dyed fabrics blow me away. I actually picked up my Most Noble Pursuit to work on while I watched, before you showed it! I got it when it first came out. I'm only on the 4th block after all these years! Why!? It is beautiful and fun to stitch.
fabulous stitching, awesome wips, love your channel. oh and athena goddess of wisdom, war and the crafts, strange combo. you are one of my new favorites thank you.
Wow ! What a great WHIP parade! Neicelynn sent me your way and I am so happy she did! I’m looking forward to many more lovely videos ! Thanks, Becca from Utah USA
I grabbed a cuppa of Typhoo to drink while I watched your WIP. Fabulous WIPS. Every single one. I think I need that Solomon’s Temple sampler sooner rather than later. Your hand dyed fabric is to die (or dye) for!!! Gorgeous 😍😍. Thanks for the shout out and I can’t wait to see more videos. You are a natural ❤️❤️
Gables Stitcher Hi Amy! Thanks for watching along...I’m glad you’ve seen something you like...it’s only fair after the number of times you’ve enabled me!!! Looking forward to seeing you back soon ❤️
Loved your WIP parade! So many WIPs we have in common or that I would like to do! I am doing I like this place in my own favourite colours. Also did many mistakes in the first block of halloween at Hawk Run Hollow. Was saying in my previous flosstube how i mis counted both the baths and spider so need to fudge the cobwebs to make it work but put it down for now. Now off to google the designs you showed that i love and didn’t have 🥰☺️
Thank you for the very informative video. I totally planned to try to dye some fabric. You have many beautiful projects, both finished and unfinished. Can’t wait for your next video. I live in Florida in the US, wishing you the best with your school year. My grandson is in New Jersey they only made it through the first week, and then a sixth grader came down with Covid and they shut the school down not sure for how long. Stay well and best wishes. I think teachers will now have a new respect from many Parents. Gloria
Hi Gloria - Oh no! How horrible for your grandson. I'm sure it won't be long before there is a case in school here, lots of surrounding schools have had them but it doesn't always mean the school closes. It might be just the year group that isolates at home. Scary stuff!
Lots of fabulous projects your are stitching. I fell head over heels in love with Newcastle Bouquet too. I started it during Stitch Maynia and will be finishing out Sampler September stitching on it. I focused on another sampler at the beginning of this month, which I finished so I thought I would give this one some much deserved attention.
Wonderful! I really need to get back to that one. It hit me like a ton of bricks when it was released and I've done very little with it...ridiculous! Which sampler did you finish??
@@mommalovesyougb I finished Kind and True by With My Needle! I started it at the beginning of the year with my sister and I just couldn't put it down this month. I will probably put Newcastle Bouquet to the side at the end of September until the new year.
That giant peacock sampler is gorgeous!! All your stitching is beautiful, you certainly find some beautiful sampler patterns...love watching your videos!
Sally Fowler Thanks Sally. I really do need to finish it. I’m making some walnut antiquing spray so I may give it a go on that??? I’ll decide when it’s done...I can’t make up my mind what’s holding me back!
Very much enjoyed your wip parade! Thank you for taking the tremendous amount of time to make this video. Beautiful stitching, linens and threads! Take good care 😘❤️ Rebecca
I just came across your channel from Carol at Salt Box Stitcher. I am a Barbara’s Daughter as well I feel we are the best lol. I’m watching your videos from the beginning. Beautiful stitching so far. Happy to be visiting with you. Hope you have a Happy New Year!
Amazing WIP parade. Beautiful choices you have made. I too like The Drawn Thread but had not seen the Halloween one you are stitching so immediately added it to my wish list. Cheers from Canada.
Oh my we would be best stitching friends! I cannot tell you how many of your WIPS I also have! From the wisdom sampler to Jim shire, every time you pulled something out I just laughed. Lovely work and welcome to floss tube. So glad I found you
Great video! I love wip parades. You have great projects. Love your variety of fabrics. I have been stitching since 1975. And I still make counting mistakes. I love bobbins also. I have about 50 of them. You are so interesting to listen too. Thanks
Enjoyed your WIP parade - the very first WIP - 🐝 ❤️ "The Sleeping Bee" The Blue Flower is going to be stunning! Will look forward to that finish. I have stitched quite a few Mill Hill kits and I, too, tend to stitch on linen instead of the perforated paper. Hope your first day of school goes well. Happy Stitching!
Great video! Found you via Jan Hicks. You have inspired me to get back to dyeing fabrics and I am going to try walnut crystals. Happy stitching and best wishes from Herefordshire.
Stunning project with the parrots! I so enjoyed your wip parade. Your hand dyed fabric are beautiful ❤️Lovely projects. I look forward to seeing future videos. Be well and stay safe.
Oh my!! What a wonderful WIP Parade. I love everything. I was wondering where you purchased the banding for the Burgundy SAL. The only banding I can find is 27 count. Looking forward to more FT videos from you!💕
Candi Gordon Hi Candi - thanks for your comments. My banding was 28 count (so not a million miles away) and purchased from www.ateliersteekjesenkruisjes.nl They lady speaks great English (thankfully) The Cross Stitch Guild also sells banding in different widths. If you search vaupel heilenbeck in Google, they are one of the main makers of banding
MommaLovesYouGB Michelle Thank you for the information. I didn’t expect you to respond so fast. Forget about the time change. I love I stitch designs!! Thank you again for your help and wonderful videos.😘
I thoroughly enjoyed your video; I could have watched another hour and been really happy. I hope school goes well and that you have lots of stitching time. Looking forward to seeing progress on your WIPs. Hugs and happy stitching!!
Pam Lacey Thanks so much Pam! That’s a lovely comment. School was good thanks although we only had Y7 in today! They’re all massive (tall I mean!) - I think all the mums have been doing is feeding children over lockdown!
Thank you so much for your fabulous WIP parade. You have some gorgeous WIPs and your stitching is beautiful. I have a few of the same pieces!! Great video.
Another fantastic FT, I just love your hand dyed linen, it is incredible! I have also misplaced floss, charts, you name it only to find it again months later sometimes. I do not know how that happens..... 🤔 I love that you are using Harry Potten initials on Jane, and yep she would love that. Can't wait to watch your next video, I do see it is up, which is great news - I am behind watching. Thanks for all the laughs, you definitely brighten up my day!! ❤️❤️
Thanks so much Kristie. Looking forward to doing more. There are definitely lots of the charts that you are stitching on my radar so thanks for your influence ❤️
Awesome WIP parade, love your amazing dyeing, my favorite would be the marbled dye! I personally do not do samples, just not me but love seeing others. Looking so forward to taking this journey along with you, be safe! Linda

You're a very beautiful woman....do you ever smile? I suspect perhaps that being a new tuber, you are a bit nervous. I sense that there is a great sense of fun and humour underneath your presenting severity....being a school teacher ( God bless you ! ) could explain a lot of that. Your fabric dying is fantastic and your good taste in projects selection will bring me back. Thank you for listing your recommendations for other floss tubers to watch. I appreciate that. Best of luck in taking us all on in the cyber world and persevering in finding your own best personal style as your relax. Please take my feedback in the kindest way that it is intended:)
Hi Angie..I’m hopefully better in later videos. I had a lot to try and remember that day and to include in a logical order. Whilst I ‘present’ everyday at school, being in front of the camera (and then watching it back!) is a different prospect. I do smile a lot generally (you’d cry in school if you didn’t 😂) so as you say I’m sure I will relax the more videos I do
@@mommalovesyougb I did watch your later videos after my comment and you really did seem more relaxed. You have the most adorable dimples when you smile! I can't imagine trying to keep track of all the details while trying to keep it moving along, all in front of a camera! What a lot of effort you put into the dying demo...very generous of you. It's plain to see that you're a terrific teacher. I think your channel will be a great success:)
Lovely work and beautiful dyeing of fabrics. As for the errors, I decided to embrace and adapt mine. What the Japanese might call wabi sabi which I think means love the imperfections. That’s what I tell myself anyway
Hazel Anderson No problem Hazel! I adore your fabric I’ve actually just finished the one on the 32ct Sparrow so I’ll show that on the next one. It was gorgeous to do!
I'm so jealous of your WIPs, I've just popped the Pyrodog bee into my Etsy basket! One of my friends loves bees, so planning to turn that into a cushion for her to join the Bolivian map cushion I made her 🤩
Hi Michelle, another great video! Sound improved a lot! Loved your finishes and wip parade. Thanks for mentioning some shops, will visit them later. Your hand dyied fabrics are gorgeous, would love to learn from you how you achieve such beautiful results.
Hi - thanks for saying so. Most of it has been trial and error but I’m happy to give some pointers of the things I’ve learned. I don’t think I’ll do a tutorial video as there are loads of great ones out already. Definitely check out the shops..they’ve done fantastically over the last few months to keep supplies of cross stitch stuff flowing!
Great WIP parade, was able to watch it in one sitting. Loved that peacock piece and i'm a sucker for anything harry potter. I don't do flosstube myself but i'm a lurker, subbed.
Loved your video. Some enabling went on during it. I think using Harry Potter characters initials is brilliant! Might have to borrow the idea since I have a small family too.
A super video Michelle. You have so many beautiful projects.....I don't feel so bad with my 4 wips now! Your hand dyed linens are gorgeous. Do you sell them in your etsy shop?
Sharon Bruce Thanks Sharon...you definitely have room for a couple more! 🤣 I just dye for myself, rather than selling them, mainly because I like the experimentation - I’m not sure I would be able to repeat a colour consistently
Good to find you Michelle. I also live in U.K sew it's great to get info. fromm you. You are very confident in front of the camera😀 Have you found a young lady on flosstube called Angela stitches. She does a lot of Mill hill on perforated paper. It was lovely to see all your WIP's. I love your finishes. Have you mentioned your Etsy shop name yet? I shall have to come back to your video lol. Take care
I haven't found Angela Stitches yet but I will certainly keep a look out. My Etsy shop is called MommaLovesYouGB too. I wanted to keep it all the same so it was easy. Its still shut at the moment as I've found I haven't had as much time to make things with going back to school

Loved your video. Some enabling went on during it. I think using Harry Potter characters initials is brilliant! Might have to borrow the idea since I have a small family too.
Lots of beautiful works 💖💖
Love seeing all your projects and love your humor. I am looking forward to more!!
I like the "Love Never Fails".. Hoping to have that pattern, too!
Athena will be gorgeous! I would like to look into Pattern Keeper. I’m not very techie. Is it user friendly? Your fabric dyeing is fabulous!
Loved seeing all of your charts and WIPs. I’ll be following you. You should do well here on Flosstube.
Rosemary Sebolt Thank you Rosemary!
Thanks Michelle I found you on Etsy moments after messaging you lol. Enjoy each stitch 😀
AngelaStitches is all one word. Sorry
I've started the Quaker Friendship "sheet" too!
You are a breath of fresh air. A riot! Fun!
Cameron Kord Thanks so much Cameron🤗
