I went through something very similar after my divorce. I survived only because I had kids who needed me. I'm way better off now, I guess it's something we all have to go through. It's good to talk about your life, it helps the healing. I found and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and as the Bible says "the truth will set you free" couldn't be more true. I wish you much happiness & strength. 🙏 Thanks for sharing.❤
Bro, I have been divorced for almost 24 years. I have 2 kids, worked full-time & in battle in court for 10 years. Zero dependent on any medication. Betrayal from the kids mom, betrayal from my friend with her, friends etc. I'm dealing with a malignant narcissist. Fighting with fu@king demons. Lost everything plus extra debts from court battles. I eventually lost my kids. That's another story. Never have suicidal thoughts. I just become a battler. I lost everything & and ended up ZERO$. I finally left the country with no money. I survived & thrive now . I'm still the same good person but now I'm one strong son-of-bit@h. Mentality & physically. I hope people don't destroy yourself because of someone's doesn't appreciate you. I'm 65. I would not fall apart for no one, that includes my adult children. Zero emotional ransom. In short, I don't tolerate bullsh@t. Live my friends. You can make it, dont add another problem to your life. Dont be reckless

Thank you for sharing your experience. Depression and anxiety is a b*tch. I've lived with it for over 25 years and it's not fun. Once you get everything under control, it's easier to manage.

Enerst I had a pretty bad childhood due to my parents that were constantly arguing and fighting all of the times. They gotten married at a very young age. 19 for my mom and 21 for my father. They were really kids with kids that they were having for a total of us three. I learned to endure a lot of hostile emotions from that poor experience. Moving own flash forward into my life I married twice and filed bankruptcy after the first divorce without any children of mine. And pretty much went through it again the second time around although I had managed to restore my credit after around 10 years. Life was good until my wife had wreaked in her 3rd auto accident within about 4 years. Her insurance went sky high and I told her no more new cars at least until her insurance premiums went back down again. And that’s when she decided to leave and cheat on me. So I filed for a no fault divorce and gotten her to sign off on it and now I’m free to retire and do whatever I want! 😮 good luck 🍀 my friend you deserve a better life! Stay strong as you can!
Doctors and psychiatrist never helped me…Reading scripture got me off depression and anxiety meds. Reading got me closer to Jesus and he is the ultimate physician. It’s been a few years no pills needed.
Brother the only true peace that you will find in this world is found in Jesus Christ. Everything else is temporary , fleeting - read the words of Jesus Christ through the gospels they will touch your heart and soul with healing powers that the world cannot offer you. Jesus said , seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you … 🧐
Thank you for sharing… you’re not alone my friend.

Ernest, thank you so much for your honesty and for having the courage to talk about the male perspective in divorce. You are making a significant positive difference by sharing with us your tough times in addition to all of your successes... such as you intelligently living beneath your means; surviving what sounds like a narcissistic ex spouse; job trauma; being a great father even while in pain; and your other amazing accomplishments. You are awesome, Ernest! Thanks again for this video.
Life is full of ups and downs. Back in my 20’s put off dating so that I could raise my niece. I had done that for 16 years. I totally forgot how to date and just gave it up. I had a female co-worker who would travel to Thailand with her husband every year. I was so stressed out from work and thought how nice it would be to get away. I decided to go to Thailand in 2003. I got off the plane at midnight and checked into my hotel. Decided to go to an all night coffee shop and this first Thai woman I met we ended up getting married a year later. Still happily married and have a family. Completely changed my life. I say this because just around the corner something great will happen for you.
I can relate too u brother , my ex left me 3 months ago with a guy she had on the side for a while , im still going thru it ...depression and demons have been haunting me ever since ...God bless u bro 🙏
Most people don't realize women fall in love with men, but men value loyalty over love (usually). Women will love you, but leave you because they aren't loyal; but men are usually loyal and will never leave but may not have ever really been in love with that woman. I've always valued loyalty over love from anyone other than my mother/father, because that's where the 'in sickness and health' comes in. Love fades when that woman sees/hears some other guy whispering and then her 'loyalty' follows.
Also watch some of the narcissism videos on youtube about narcissism. They may not speak to you and your ex may not be a narcissist but its worth watching those. For me those video's told me more about my relationship with her than I could even explain or could see till I watched those video's and they knew more about my marriage than I ever did. Take care man.
Hi Ernest you look Great and glad to see you hope you have a great evening and Thank you for this channel You inspire people And they keep coming back. So keep the great job up doing great 🌹💕🙏
Before I watch this video I just want to say the other video popped up on my feed as I have been separated for 8 years and I must have said something out loud and there goes the powers that be so I wanted to see what you had to say on the subject not for any drama but how you coped with your divorce as it’s time I get mine. Just never got around to it. I can say it always feels like I failed as it’s been 24 years married but separated 8. I waited and waited for him to change and stop cheating but it never happened so please don’t believe everyone likes drama as all I want peace in my life lol. Now back to the video! God bless you sir and thanks for sharing your story as it might help me get through! In Jesus name I pray 🙏🏻 amen
At 62 and divorced since 2014 after 32 years I can relate to so much of what you told here, I’m still fighting the demons but slowly winning small battles. From a fellow Texan…Thanks for sharing!
Bro, my entire life has been faced with one challenge after another. However, my Faith has sustained me and helped me navigate those challenges. Your mind and personal choices can really control you. I found exercising, consistent church attendance, and professional counseling really kept me on the solid footing. I believe in Holistic approach rather than pills, However, if you had clinical depression, that can be difficult to overcome. As men, at least with me, we can go through change of life issues. However, it usually temporary and most men navigate through it. Having friends to talk to can be healing. I would be really careful with medications and counselors. I’m not an expect and this has been just my opinions. I live a structured life, get plenty of rest, pray, talk to God, read scripture, and love people. I do not drink or smoke. I might have a beer or glass of wine with dinner. Bro, you are not alone. The Catholic Church is my back ground. I’m greatful that Jesus and his church is the Light that guides my path. God Bless you brother.
When I watch your videos, it resonates. I hear the pain in your voice. It's the pain I feel. You've been through it. I'm going through it. I'm stuck in a cycle. Luckily I don't like to drink or party. My struggle is all internal. I still live in an apartment. I don't think I'll ever trust again. I don't think I'll ever be happy again. I'm just kinda done.
I appreciate you sharing your story because it’s becoming my story as far as the divorce situation and starting over. It’s helpful to hear how other people have gone through similar things and come out better on the other side.
I saw your previous video and it was very interesting. Then here you are again and this one was even more interesting. Good on you, having overcome a painful experience and you’ve come out on other side. Good luck on your future endeavors and I’ll keep watching. Aloha.

I just watched your video you made in the car about divorce. But what i noticed, is something that you didn't say...I think this wasn't just a normal divorce but the worst kind where someone you thought you would live & love the rest of your life with. That is hard stuff. Is this the case of why your divorce was so hard? You still loved her. And you were morning the loss of living with your children.

Seems like doctors really don't like you getting off meds. That was my experience. I was taking Omeprazole for acid reflux, and I aksed the doctors a few times how to get off it and fix the problem. They really didn't talk about diet and things that made sense. I had ideas about which foods were causing issues and dropped those. It was said you should not stop taking this Omeprazole cold turkey or without a doctor's advice. So I did get the doctor's advice on how to ween off. It took a month, and then I was off. I am still prone to acid reflux, but I am not getting it as nearly as badly or as much with diet change, and I know I can do better. So, no meds at all now. I did six months on that Omeprazole... and that experience of dealing with doctors was shocking. Seems like they want more business, and not really fixing things.
