The answer to the bomb with the gallons of water goes like this:
    1. Fill the 5 gallon bottle all the way.
    2. Then use that to fill the 3 gallon bottle all the way. That will leave you with 2 gallons in the 5 gallon bottle.
    3. Empty the 3 gallon bottle completely.
    4. Pour the remaining 2 gallons from the 5 gallon bottle into the 3 gallon bottle.
    5. Fill the 5 gallon bottle completely.
You now have a full 5 gallons in the 5 gallon bottle and 2 gallons in the 3 gallon bottle, leaving 1 gallon of empty space in the 3 gallon bottle. Pour 1 gallon of water using the empty space in the 3 gallon bottle to measure.
Leaving you with exactly 4 gallons in the 5 gallon bottle.
    ..... My nose is bleeding.

@@PaulOdontknow Yours works the other doesn't just based on the fact that the 3 gallon and 5 gallon have different volumes so using the empty space in the 3 gallon as a measurement compared to the 5 gallon wouldn't be accurate. Whereas yours is significantly more so.

@@nobodyyouknow6998it's the same thing. The density of water doesn't change when the container is bigger.

    • @nobodyyouknow6998
      @nobodyyouknow6998 8 місяців тому +1

@@nevaladder However the AMOUNT of water does change depending on the volume of the container. If you put a 3 gallon and a 5 gallon next to one another and fill them both to half full. They most certainly will not contain the same amount of water. Thus making measuring the amount of water by sitting them side by side inaccurate for the solution to this riddle.

They're brave, quick-witted, and determined. Second was giving John a partner in this who was like the anti-Al Powell. Al was nothing but support and understanding, while Zeus is constant insults and a desire to be anywhere else in the world. "Guy back there called you Jesús."
"He didn't say Jesús. He said, "Hey, Zeus!" My name is Zeus."
    "Zeus?"
"Yeah, Zeus! As in, father of Apollo? Mt. Olympus? Don't fuck with me or I'll shove a lightning bolt up your ass? Zeus! You got a problem with that?"
"No, I don't have a problem with that."
Fun Fact: Theatrical movie debut of Kevin Chamberlin.
The Fall Guy Fact: The stuntmen aren't acting when they're running for their lives from the subway car, it was travelling at forty-five miles per hour.
That's Hot Fact: The sex scene between Jeremy Irons and Sam Phillips was added in at the last minute because John McTiernan knew that the film would get an R rating from the MPAA (other countries use different rating systems) and he might as well put a sex scene in.
Casting Notes Fact: Sam Phillips, a pop singer in real life, was invited to screentest for the role of Katya based upon a photo from one of her CD covers. Bruce Willis suggested Samuel L. Jackson for the movie. Jackson was thrilled. Jackson was a fan and had: "seen the first Die Hard (1988) maybe thirty times."
Location Location Fact: The production built a fountain in Tompkins Square Park just for the movie. While the highway scenes are supposed to take place on the Saw Mill Parkway in Westchester County, New York, they were filmed on the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and on the Taconic Parkway in Putnam County, New York. The chase scenes in the tunnel were filmed in New York City Water Tunnel Number 3, an unfinished aqueduct connecting the city to the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. The park, on top of the Wall Street station in the film, was a vacant lot that was made into a park for the film. It was turned back into a vacant lot after filming was completed.

Having watched everything on this channel at least twice, I painfully kept away for a little while to let new clips come in, so I could binge watch. What a great reaction to return to. I couldn't wait to see JL's face with the sandwich board reveal. 🤣 As usual, I cackled like a loon. Thank you, JL , Blank & Precious Co-pilots! I love this movie & some big moments take place in my neighborhood. It's weird to see how it looked in 1995. Also, I didn't realise someone kindly gifted me a precious membership 🤩, but because I was stockpiling, I only have a few days left to enjoy it.🤣🤣🤣 Still, I am touched & humbled by such incredible kindness. Thank you, again.🙇‍♀💖 Now back to binge! 🥰

You should definitely check out the original ending. I think McClain is fired for not catching Gruber but tracks him down alone and makes him play Russian roulette with a rocket launcher. Shit is wild and is on UA-cam

If they had only stopped after this one, could have been the one of the best trilogies of all time, but they went for the money grab on the next one and then decided to spin the wheel again only to make it even worse.
