The answer to the bomb with the gallons of water goes like this:
    1. Fill the 5 gallon bottle all the way.
    2. Then use that to fill the 3 gallon bottle all the way. That will leave you with 2 gallons in the 5 gallon bottle.
    3. Empty the 3 gallon bottle completely.
    4. Pour the remaining 2 gallons from the 5 gallon bottle into the 3 gallon bottle.
    5. Fill the 5 gallon bottle completely.
You now have a full 5 gallons in the 5 gallon bottle and 2 gallons in the 3 gallon bottle, leaving 1 gallon of empty space in the 3 gallon bottle. Pour 1 gallon of water using the empty space in the 3 gallon bottle to measure.
Leaving you with exactly 4 gallons in the 5 gallon bottle.
    ..... My nose is bleeding.

@@PaulOdontknow Yours works the other doesn't just based on the fact that the 3 gallon and 5 gallon have different volumes so using the empty space in the 3 gallon as a measurement compared to the 5 gallon wouldn't be accurate. Whereas yours is significantly more so.

@@nobodyyouknow6998it's the same thing. The density of water doesn't change when the container is bigger.

    • @nobodyyouknow6998
      @nobodyyouknow6998 10 місяців тому +1

@@nevaladder However the AMOUNT of water does change depending on the volume of the container. If you put a 3 gallon and a 5 gallon next to one another and fill them both to half full. They most certainly will not contain the same amount of water. Thus making measuring the amount of water by sitting them side by side inaccurate for the solution to this riddle.

They're brave, quick-witted, and determined. Second was giving John a partner in this who was like the anti-Al Powell. Al was nothing but support and understanding, while Zeus is constant insults and a desire to be anywhere else in the world. Interesting little tidbit: The lady who plays the psycho woman is a Christian singer who has expressed regret about appearing in such a violent film in her past

This is my favorite Die Hard! I watched it before I ever watched the original back in the day. I love it so much. All I need is the OG and this one. Bruce and SLJ are one of the best duos ever. Also there was something about Jeremy Irons that awoke something in me. lol. I was far more attracted to his character than I needed to be. 🤣

I vaguely remember a video game based on this movie on Nintendo 64 where you had to use your wipers to whipe the blood of your windshield if you ran someone over in Central Park.
Also... Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man...
I held myself back as long as I could.

As a Finn it always delights me to see one of the goons being played by Tony Halme, who was also known as "Ludwig Borga" in the WWF. Being in a movie of this magnitude for a Finn is huge thing, even if you are just one of the baddies in the background. May his soul rest in peace. Soon John McClane will join him.

You should definitely check out the original ending. I think McClain is fired for not catching Gruber but tracks him down alone and makes him play Russian roulette with a rocket launcher. Shit is wild and is on UA-cam
