This was super helpful! i just got a job as an MEI out of el monte and it was nice to hear about multi-engine training from an experienced MEI and DPE. thank you.
@@hussamshamel thanks bro! I really appreciate it. I will be putting out my cfi ride soon. I am currently looking for a cfi job there seems to be none around!
@@JPLAviation corona flying academy am sure wanted CFI. I’m student at flying academy and they have only 2 CFI and they almost leaving to the airlines I think
Very good interview !! Most of DPE know very well their stuff. Which books they use for their knowledges like commercial instruments or ATP or multi engine ??? because some books are just good for the written exam but they are not in depth in the subjects
Your question at 6:00 doesn’t make any sense… saying that twins don’t have to be “certificated for Vmc” doesn’t really hold water. I don’t know of any twins that don’t have a published Vmc speed. Are you trying to say that they aren’t required to climb on one engine?
I've met a lot of DPEs, and work with them consistently now as a CFii and this fellow is legit and good-hearted from the vibes of this interview.
Chris is as solid as they come for sure. I will be going to him for my Multi here shortly.
I got my Private Pilot back in 2021 with Chris! Very Solid DPE
Really helpful! Just try not to cough into the mic so much…
Lol. That was my only input also for the video.
Other than that, good info
Oh no haha now that I've read this comment I can't stop hearing the coughing now.

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. Did your cfi initial here in SoCal?
He is the Best DPE , he did my instrument and commercial checkride .
Unfortunately there seems to be an audio glitch that sounds similar to a dry cough that occurs every other sentence or so :(
Such an educational and pleasant interview, learned so much!
Good interview Justin. I’ll be teaching Multi engine again at PFA.
I still fly Barons quite a bit
I just took my instrument checkride with him yesterday at KCCB and I passed!!!!
Congratulations! Make sure to checkout my commercial checkride review with him :) I broke down what we did on our commercial ride.
Hello can I get the examiner number because I want to schedule my instrument checkride please
@@JPLAviation by the way I learned a lot from your videos and I really wish you the best ever

Spending time in a Arrow, Cutalss, or something like that makes learning to fly something like an Aztec so much easier.
Thanks for sharing. Exceptional content
Great interview and informative

Great interview, but you really gotta stop clearing your throat in the mic.
Thank you, fun fact I found out I was lactose intolerant about two months after this interview and now I don’t have any issues
@@JPLAviation Amazing interview
