    I've met a lot of DPEs, and work with them consistently now as a CFii and this fellow is legit and good-hearted from the vibes of this interview.

    I got my Private Pilot back in 2021 with Chris! Very Solid DPE

    This was super helpful! i just got a job as an MEI out of el monte and it was nice to hear about multi-engine training from an experienced MEI and DPE. thank you.

    Unfortunately there seems to be an audio glitch that sounds similar to a dry cough that occurs every other sentence or so :(

      @@JPLAviation corona flying academy am sure wanted CFI. I’m student at flying academy and they have only 2 CFI and they almost leaving to the airlines I think

    Spending time in a Arrow, Cutalss, or something like that makes learning to fly something like an Aztec so much easier.

    Very good interview !! Most of DPE know very well their stuff. Which books they use for their knowledges like commercial instruments or ATP or multi engine ??? because some books are just good for the written exam but they are not in depth in the subjects

    Your question at 6:00 doesn’t make any sense… saying that twins don’t have to be “certificated for Vmc” doesn’t really hold water. I don’t know of any twins that don’t have a published Vmc speed. Are you trying to say that they aren’t required to climb on one engine?
