Another installment of the water series or something. I can't really express how I feel about the support in the last week or so. I feel blessed and I welcome everyone who has come across my channel in the past few days. Thank you for 10K subscribers, I appreciate you all.
Took some of your suggestions, messed around with boats, built random stuff, and actually went in the water a bit this time. :)
These take forever, so if you enjoy, I don't ask for much but to like the video :)

It's so realistic even the smoke coming out of your computer's is realistic. (Edit:how the fuck did i get so many likes)
considering it took me like 5 minutes to render 1 still image in blender this would take hours
@@frazzle6713 unless u have nasa pc
dude literally thousands of people have made this joke and it isnt funny anymore . shut the fuck up.
Maybe if you stop talking about computers in flames we could move on and not let that happen

2:35 i'm sure in 10 years or so we'll have accurate water physics like this running in real time in video games just for decoration
well that's been already possible for years lol

Somehow this water looks more realistic than real water 😂
Did you buy a account?
Thats what i was about to put in comments but saw this so i just decided to reply
Damn the real DJ cook.. or not?
@@thatonememerguy real, clicked on his account to make sure
I'd disagree since its too blue. Looks like water but also gel. Idk.
2:22 that fountain reminds me of the fountain in the lobby from the console version when playing multiplayer. Very nostalgic
i cant imagine how long this took to make, props to you man.
{if you reply saying "its blender" i hope they don't find you.}
Its blender
@@Cow.123 IK he took so long for the ainimation
WHAT? is not a Minecraft mod?

I feel like Beef's computer is that guy that your friend tells you not to make eye contact with at the bar at risk of him caving in your skull. That machine bust be an absolute unit.
This is spectacular editing, dude! Both the fluid sims and the compositing are spot-on!
It’s a mod/texture pack
@@hendry9984 cgi
Pretty shure it’s just a mod
@@hendry9984 nope
@@bananawolfie8101 nope
Now that someone pointed out that it was probably rendered in blender I can’t stop noticing the change in frame rate and the unnatural panning of the camera.
Don't forget the missing block outlines
@DONT okay, I won’t. Have a good day.
Flawless track aswell as simulation. - keep it up dude!
The smoke coming out of your pc looks really realistic too!
His computer has the enchantments blast protection and fire resistance 100
Why fire resistance?
so that it doesnt burn from simulating so much physics

@DON'T I won't.
Can you make a Minecraft mod
@@amrkalas8287 probably not
Dude, i love these videos. Can't even begin to imagine how long it took to create all of this!
Agreed (dis)
Actually I have no idea
This didn't require animating. It's just fluid physics.
No animation required
They animated it?!
The effects are awesome! So realistic, kinda like the smoke coming out of you’re PC!
Not real thats just a meme the truth is the pc is gonna turn off itself
I cant work out if this is real or blender afterwards, either way, this is awesome!!! I'd love if this was a real mod :O, props to you

I love how while the focus of the video is the water, all of the builds look nice as well
Really love the video but the only problem is that when you are recording minecraft footage with the boats you cant really tell where the "physics" boat will be so it kinda hard to actually look at it. and yet you still managed to do it pretty well!
Normal Minecraft Water is just a single block adding on to itself,
Realistic Minecraft Water is millions of small blocks made to look real.
I actually enjoy the detailing you put into the video, like the sheep walking around even on the Blender version :)
F in the chat for the kids who probably think this is a mod, or that Minecraft could ever possibly have this modded.
How long did it take to render this? This is beautiful.
I think hours
Subscribed, your vids are so good. My favorite parts are the building bits and your character shaking his head
How long does it take you to animate and render the animations? this is perfect
i tried it once and for my pc it took about 30 mins lol the clip was like 30 seconds long
@@im_a-walking_shitpost_machine oh 1 sec = 1 min now

I always like watching these kinds of videos, they’re so satisfying. Great work on this, it looks really good already, though I think this would look better if the water wasn’t colored blue like that.
MAN! How do you make this?! Such a good video!
i really hope this is added to real minecraft. cool video man!
These realistic videos are insane! I would love to see a video of how you go about making these animations in the program that you use
@DONT ok
he prob uses blender. it can be done in other programs like cinema 4d, maya...
@Emo it’s not a mod, it’s cgi, you physically can’t render something like this in Minecraft
@Emo its fucking not ffs
@Emo not how Minecraft works
Bro what you do is amazing, your videos are like 10M sub quality
even thought it’s cgi, it’s still impressive as hell. (im fully aware a mod like this would be damn near impossible)
and i’d say 300k-1m realistically but he’s still super underrated
not 10m sub worthy because there are so many videos on blender fluids in minecraft
Hahayes 20M sub 😏
@@user-mr-squidward-fr978 i disagree
even though these types of videos are very simple to watch they take an incredible amount of time. I love watching these types videos because I find them very calming.
Hc
My fav one 1:23
Dayum, lining all that up so perfectly must've been the second-hardest part of making this!
he probably recorded himself building the map, transferred the chunk data to blender as a map, then animated it after c: much easier that way for animation
@@otomachiunagi4208 there are also plugins which help you track camera movement for blender, which would work great with minecrafts many straight lines for reference; or just record your characters movement as camera path for Blender, it wouldn't be too hard to write a plugin for this. Although i'm also thinking these are scenes remade in Blender rather, it always feels just a little off to me, can't really put my finger on it why though.
But honestly the fact that it's hard to tell if this is a recreation of MC in Blender, or a Blender render and MC footage edited together, is itself impressive.
@DON'T WOWW YOU ARE A BOT
(Probably)
Your vids are so good keep up the good work!!

@@unorthodox1430 why do you think that is it because your to poor to afford a decent pc not everyone has a potato for a pc
@@LoRdDyY45 That literally makes no sense in this context. What you think a 3090 will run this flawlessly at a peak of 40 degrees celsius? I suppose you think it's also fine to cool a 12900k with a desk fan.
@@LoRdDyY45 Bro the video creator even said in one of the replies that it takes 2 - 30 seconds a frame (Yes , not frames per second) to render their videos. No commercial computer at the moment can run this level of simulation in real time

You should be sponsored by a water company. This video made me so damn thirsty
I wish this was a real mod and not a blender animation, lol. The animation looks sick though, and very satisfying.
i wonder if something similar could be made in actual minecraft. im gonna give it a try, great video though

this is basic sim shit
@GrenadezOut! u dont need to see me to know that the liquid simulation is pretty basic. the cool thing is the movement tracking n shit
@@nipz58 this is just extremely correct, but the thing is his fluid sim is kinda shit because the particles of the fluid jumps up instead of acting like a water
@@Cr3reeper yup
Now I’m wondering how long it’s going to take before we have the ability to run something like this in real time in engine and not pre render it?
It might actually be possible right now. if you have like a $3000 dollar computer or something. but how long before a average $800-$1200 dollar computer can do this?
Also why isn’t this stuff used in modern games? Is just because it’s not necessary yet because high definition graphics and simple animations are good enough and so there isn’t really a need for complete simulation of every material in a game? And if so then how many years or decades until it would become normal for most games to have fully simulated everything? Or will it never happen because it’s simply not necessary?
> It might actually be possible right now. if you have like a $3000 dollar computer or something.
..no, it's not
> Also why isn’t this stuff used in modern games?
see above
i tried to do something like that in blender it took me around 40-50 minutes cuz my pc is bad but video was 60 fps for some reasons lmao i cant imagine if this water was real
@@cringeguyong but that still leaves the question of. How long until this would be possible to run real time without needing like googles entire server center or something ridiculous like that?
Because if you think about it. Computers 10 years ago where not even half as powerful as even budget computer’s are now. So I think it might only be another 10 or 15 years before we could have computers that don’t cost tens of thousands of dollars to run this stuff in real time. But I’m not really familiar with how this stuff even works. Or what computer parts are actually the bottleneck? I think it’s probably RAM and GPU but I could be wrong here. And if it is that then would it technically be possible to make a computer/server with like terabytes of RAM and like dozens of GPUs and then it might work?
It would be interesting to find out what is that current technical limit for why we can’t run this real time and how much it would cost to build something that can using early 2020s computer technology.
Then Try it again in 5-8 years and see if it’s cheaper and by how much.
