God this brings back memories of old classic servers that hosted a minigame where you had to survive the longest in a map with infinite flowing lava. Good days
I wish there was a fully fleahed out "natural disaster" mod, where you have the standard ones in the overworld, such as tornadoes near rivers, tsunami's near oceans, hurricanes near swamps, and volcanic eruptions near mountains, but with specialized one for each of the dimensions as well. Lava tsunamis in the nether, with random cave collapses every now and then, and lava rain that you can only avoid with at least one non-flammable block above you. Then for the end, just have islands have a small chance to fall into the void, and make it so that there can be strong winds that you can get blown away by. Just give the biomes themselves small elements of chance.
@@VERGIL-V1 we're talking about the world download, meaning where blocks are in the world. That doesn't matter that it was generated with altered source code
This would make for an interesting survival experiment. You VS a big pool of infinitely expanding lava. Do you get your belongings and go underground or do you become nomadic and are always on the run? Would wanna try it
The reason the angle is different than the lavas slope is because the angle is generated based off the related rates of water and lava flow independent from each other, while the slope of water and lava are influenced by their rate of spread.
this is actually a pretty cool way to make "somewhat" natural mountains. if you varied the first test with more source blocks at various different heights, then removed all lava and water after, the remaining obby and stone would probably make some decent looking terrain
4:36 man that has to be a really horrible fate. Your village has been flooded and youre able to stay over the water with plenty, yet limited food supplies.
