Funny thing is that we're getting to a point where this could be hypothetically possible in a minecraft mod instead of a render
I guess, but not really because even this render needs a lot of computation power. These physics take a really long time to calculate and the reflextions/caustics are very hard to render.

I like how the blender works
that would have been a super cool plot twist: A blender in minecraft, blending water and sand, rendered in blender.
but i doubt the fluid sim and molecular particle sim would play well together.
Now we need a vacuum cleaner mod to clean up all the sand
When the nicest fluid dynamics I’ve ever seen…are in Minecraft O_o
I don’t know how these look better than most professional games
Because this a rendered video and not an actual mod(to my knowledge) and I’m pretty sure this would take an absurd amount of processing power to do on a huge scale with other stuff going on in a game

@@Sandblazter yep, instead of frames per second it would become minutes per frame
Even on better PCs I have gotten the chance to test on you really can't go past seconds per frame
to be honest the water physics are super impressive :D though they could be improved by ~doubling the movement speed (water moves a LOT faster than most people think), and making it much clearer as it feels too blue tinted like this
just to be clear this is not a complaint, just contructive criticism to make an already amazing animation even better :D
If they make water 2x faster than they have to do the same with lava too
Lava is alot faster than people think too
this would be fire for a natural disaster survival run

I like the ones where it shows normal minecraft and then realistic minecraft so they can be compared and you can see how much different they are
The part that bothers me is that Steve makes a circle indent and not a rectangular one.

Only one problem, not every player have good fps, or maybe they can make setting to choose realistic or unrealistic so for who have smooth fps, they can choose the realistic but for who have bad fps, they can choose unrealistic

Wow, this is very beautiful, of course, but how do you then remove the sand pixels and the same with water, how do you remove these pixels later?
The water in the first time cured my stress. 😊
Did you use Blender for all these? And if so, what settings/plug-ins did you use for the water sim? Even with FLIP fluids, I still can't get a half-decent looking water sim without the render taking 50 hours.

You could theoretically render this on any PC that can run Blender, but it would take an unreasonably long time on low-end devices.

how was this video made? it’s hard to believe this is a mod OR animation, yet it still exists
i believe beef used some kind of mod to record his characters movements (xyz and camera rotation), somehow imported his map in blender (either rebuilding it manually or via a tool like mineways), and then ran fluid/particle sims in there. The movement recording could be applied as a camera animation. There never was actual liquid/gravel/sand in the game, he just acted as if there were.
