    Miss Olga.
I live in America and I am a catechumen in the Moscow Patriarchate here. Without the story of the Romanov family I wouldn’t ever have known about Russian Orthodoxy.. and now I have a family.. here in America there is a spiritual death like you don’t ever want to know. However it is only when I am in my Orthodox Church surrounded by my Russian Brothers and Sisters as we praise God together is where I feel at peace… something I never knew in my life.
I am not at all Russian myself, but I am loved and held as family by the warm kind and beautiful Russian people.
In my Icon bag I have the Icon of the Holy Family and through their glorious testimony, they reached out through the ages and led me to where I am now.
This documentary that you made was unbelievably beautiful.
I appreciate your work so much …
And I will watch your other videos.
Слава Богу! Слава Христу! Слава России! ☦️🇷🇺☦️🇷🇺☦️🇷🇺

Hello, John! It's so pleasant to hear your warm words. Actually it's my favorite video on the channel (I like the one about the mysteries of the Ural mountains too, but it's rather entertaining). I'm afraid you'll be disappointed by the rest of my videos in comparison to this one because I really put a piece of my heart to this, the rest are quite common🙂I was always deeply touched by this theme, learned a lot about it. Hope to make another video about Romanov family one day. All the best to you.

Thank you Olga for such a great video. Ganima Yama, although a place of great tragedy, looks beautiful in its simplicity and I could almost smell the pine trees and imagine the mystical atmosphere.

Thank you so much. To tell the truth, it's my favorite video on this channel because the story always excited my imagination and happened in my home town. I'm glad that you liked it, and happen to be in this really unusual place--though virtually🙂

Hi. Every year on the date of their death, pilgrims make a procession from the place of their death where the church on blood now stands to the Ganina pit. ua-cam.com/video/jLqfN5ZsQjI/v-deo.html

@@19971de Thanks, I think one day I'll upload more. Always was fascinated by their story, and as you see they were murdered in my city. There are some places in my region connected with them or with Rasputin.

Your video touched my heart. Thank you for making such a superb presentation. As I looked at all of the various large pictures of the Royal Family at the site where there bodies were dumped, I also saw a large picture also of Dr. Botkin, who also gave his life in faithful service/devotion to the Royal Family. My only thought is this: Perhaps there could be a picture also of the other royal servants who were also murdered with the family that they served with profound devotion/faithfulness even unto death itself? When I say at prayer, light a candle for the Imperial Family on July 17th, I include in my thoughts the royal servants too. Their remains are buried with the family at the beautiful Imperial Church of Saints Peter and Paul in St. Petersburg. It is a honor which they richly deserve as they too are now in eternal rest. I have read that when His Majesty Tsar Alexander III casket was opened not too long ago for DNA testing comparing it's results with that of the rest of the family that at the end members of the Royal Family entombed there in the Church were also REMOVED AND TAKEN AWAY!. People are coming to pray for their souls, but what was laid to rest originally has been removed upon the authority of some very highly placed authority for such thing to happen. The Russian Orthodox Church would not even allow the saying of the names of the Imperial Family at the service in which they were laid to rest. The Royal Family loved their Orthodox Faith; and, I feel it was shameful that the Church did not honor them by saying their names at their own funeral!! Perhaps those who may read my comments have more information that they might share concerning the remains of the Imperial Family, that is, why their bones were removed, where they are not resting, and, what is intended for them? I am glad that her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and husband, Prince Phillip, were able to visit the church of Saints Peter and Paul as they paid for all the Romanoff family graves and gave a floral offering to the site. Just perhaps the time will come when a new chapter will be written concerning those tragic events. With profound respect for the Russian people, the Orthodox Church, and, the royal martyrs of the Imperial Family.

Thank you for such an interesting and great comment, I also believe that the servants who died together with the royal family deserve not to be forgotten, because they were offered to leave and they voluntarily went to martyrdom out of devotion. And I also think it was a huge mistake that Yeltsin ordered the demolition of Ipatiev's House where the tragedy occurred, it was necessary to leave everything as it is, without a doubt.

I always watch UA-cam videos at 1.5 to 2x speed... I'm curious if on the diagnostics of viewership on your channel, if it shows i watched for half as much time. If I watch a video at 2x speed.
    I've been curious about that..
But yea I always watch videos 2x speed. Because you can watch more videos in a day...

Hi! In the first video the line is somehow broken, the rest are as usual. But don't worry watch any speed you like:-) To tell the truth i feel inusual (but nice:-) that someone is curious about my "creativity":-) Today I made the video about suburbia, Russian village in winter and house prices there. I think the montage will be over by tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Hope it'll be curious to you :-) It's very interesting to talk to a person of a totally different culture and free from prejudice (against Russia), really. Have a great day.
