I'm so sorry to hear about Scruffy and your financial struggles😢 I'm sure everything will turn out alright (finger's crossed) as for Videos. I would love to get more stuff about Oxford and jobs in education (like job opportunities at universities without being teaching). Also if you're comfortable with it. More ADHD content would be brilliant. I got diagnosed because I went to the doctor after seeing your video, and it literally changed my life. I was struggling woth education, finances and life in general. Nearly 2 years later I work in my dream job, am only one thesis away from my degree and have a totally new perspective of life. Maybe that's a little motivation ❤ thanks for that

I feel you, im going through similar things 2024 has been nothing but sickness and struggling so far. Im glad scruffy is doing better though!

I'm sorry to hear that the year isn't beginning quite as you had hoped. Try to keep positive and just know that the year isn't defined by its start, so try to keep your spirits up, both for yourself and for Scruffy. I just sent a little show of support and appreciation on ko-fi, I know it's a little bit but I hope it helps ease the day in some way. It’s ok if you have insurance for them! We had just signed up to the pets at home ‘complete healthcare plan’ thinking it was insurance and it wasn’t. We’re with an actual insurance company now :)

Glad that Scruffy is doing well now, just wondering what was the issue with his original pet insurance? How come they didn’t cover the cost?
Thank you! We had signed up to something called a complete healthcare plan, but it turns out it actually wasn’t insurance (my fault for not checking it enough but I really didn’t know!)

Feel ya. We live paycheck to paycheck, have 3 kids and about 10k in debt. I haven't had a holiday since 2016. 😂
We have had this horrid flu virus too and been so ill with it. But gradually getting over it.

It’s horrible isn’t it! Hope you’re feeling better soon! It was so scary at the time with scruffy, we’re just glad he’s back to his normal self now - he’s playing with his teddy as I type this 😄 and thank you 🩷 at least it’s encouraging me to have a good clear out and get rid of some of my old things ☺️

Glad to hear Scruffy is OK now. You definitely have justification to complain to the first vet and ask for a refund for the ultrasound as it wasn't fit for purpose and you were referred under false pretences to the second vet and had to have the same imaging again which showed their mistake. Any vet should be able to read an ultrasound and if they read it wrong or their image was bad that's their fault and not something you should be charged for at all. I don't know if this helps how you're feeling but the reason for your current predicament is that you care and did the responsible thing for your dog to make sure he was ok so hope you and your bf can feel good about that at least! P.s. In terms of videos, I always enjoy watching people who show their interests via vlogs, so things they are reading & learning, routines and lifestyle stuff and places they visit etc. I think vlog style videos are still what people consistently watch.
Thank you! I’ve thought about that but I’m not sure how to go about it. Plus, he told us the ultrasound wasn’t very good… but if that’s the case, why did he charge us and then refer us to a place where they did a second ultrasound? 😭 but thank you, it really made us appreciate scruffy being in good health I think 😅☺️ and thank you for the input about videos! @@SavannahPhillipss everything you said, if it's bad quality then they shouldn't charge for it or use it for diagnosis, and you shouldn't have had a second ultrasound which contradicted the first one completely because it was a reliable image and the first wasn't! Just write them an e-mail and complain, they won't want bad reviews so I'm sure you will get some kind of refund, be persistent, you are in the right! And also don't be scared of changing vet practice, it's sometimes made out to be difficult but it isn't at all they send the medical history over in an email and that's it! Anyway good luck, let us know what happens 🤍
