when I started with this hobby 2 years ago i was like "why everybody hates p-bandai?". now with a few puchases made through the pbandai site im like "I get it... I totally get it"
meanwhile my country just added another goods tax so low value goods gets a 10% price increase. this translates to gunplas getting more expensive and so does scalper prices
I have to agree the metal Structure line feels too expensive for what it is & if the Suits will just be reprinted like p bandai kits. The over all collectors value just isn't there.
@@ItsAGunpla That upcoming P-Bandai version with the funnels and base parts, does indeed have new special packaging. So they've made an extra premium version of an already premium figure.
The design of Sinanju Stein is probably what made me get finally into Gunpla. It's one of the best looking mechs ever IMO. And even so I've been sitting and looking at Sinanju Stein for 2 years, not buying it, but buying other kits instead. And now I have a pre order on the new version. The reason why we probably haven't seen a Doven Wolf and Silver Bullet is because Bandai had no intention of making those based off of the Mk. V. I say this as someone who thought Zaku Aurelius was wrong when he said it but came to the same conclusion after building it myself. The kit just isn't designed for it and much less than you would think could be carried over.
With a title like “take my money, Bandai“ I thought you were going to confirm the rumors and release date for a PG Nu Gundam. It’s been over 15 years since I last built a Gundam kit but I’m ready to get back into it!
All the base Wing suits and all but the Altron for the upgraded Wing suits. Bandai is really missing out on the Year of the Dragon opportunities for the moment.
That TG 1/60... I really hope they do complete the set and make a TG3 Also, MkV can also be retooled into a Doven Wolf so that's at least 3 more kits Bandai can sell by retooling the MkV... The DW, Silver Bullet, and Silver Bullet Suppressor.
Bandai won't though. Everyone keeps saying the MK.V has little that can be carried over, so I doubt Bandai will put the effort in to mkae the required parts.
Gundam Noob here: I'll probably get the Nu recolor, the RG is the second most enjoyable build I've done after the Hi Nu. (Never built a Master Grade, kinda stick with 1/144 except for the FM Aerial)

I'm still hoping for some P-Bandai HG Wing kit reprints...along with the HGAC Altron that a lot of people have been expecting to pop up and is overdue compared to the last three upgraded gundams.
Im a 1/144 builder cause im scared of the big boys but a MG silver bullet suppressor might be the kit to build my courage!!! Love that mobile suit and the 144 aint the best kit... she a bit wobbly
It is kinda surprising that the Mk V was P-Bandai but it's probably because of it being from Gundam Sentinel. Bandai would need to pay for licensing so they get more money from P-Bandai than also dealing with the middlemen with regular retail.
Just started watching the OG series after coming across a lore video for the OYW and now I'm pretty hooked. I've been a 40k nerd for 20 years and looking forward to getting into a different style of model kits
Going to be buying the Narrative solely to do my own custom "complete" version of the suit. I know its basically a proto nu gundam, but this gives me the chance to do something different.
I'm definitely down for the MG Narrative Gundam. Something about that design has always been cool to me and I do always love a kit that comes with a core fighter.
I can't endorse the comment of needing more PG releases enough.. I have 2 PG's and a megasize. I love building and displaying PG's, but we need more of a selection. I don't mind it being limited, but come on give us one or two every few years and not 14 variations of the unicorn haha.
Bandai releases are a snoozefest compared to third party kits. They just keep releasing the same kit with the most subtle modifications. Haven't bought a bandai kit in over a year at least.
What's really surprising is bandai hasn't done a Mk V in Amuro colors. It's literally just a color swap and an Amuro suit so it would sell gangbusters. And obviously retooling the frame to all the doven wolf variants and silver bullet variants.
At this point it has to be embarrassing that 3rd parties are making nicer kits than a multi billion dollar cooperation because they refuse to release kits in any sort of majority that don't reused parts from other kits... Ibo is trash so no surprise that they haven't really released any more kits from that series. I agree, it would be nice be nice if they focused on PG instead of metal structure. If they worked on a sazabi pg rather than the metal structure, that would have been 50x more lucrative.
We were getting massacred with all those high-grade releases. Bandai is so bland with their releases as of late that it wouldn't be strange to think of them as 50s style dad that sits in a lazy boy, reading a newspaper and smoking a pipe. I got some third-party gunpla sets, and to be honest, they look amazing.
any new projects you working on for the channel? i know free time for you is rarity, just wondering if you had any projects that we might see in the future?
