I love working on parts that no one sees, some parts you paint to impress others and some you do to impress yourself. Also the act of painting is just therapeutic at times and I cant stop.
Dude been watching your Gunpla progression for a long while now, I'm a hand brush painter and never made the airbrush transition until i started getting into Gunpla because of ye. Your kits look super dope, you should be very proud of them.
8:25 man I totally understand you, no one is going to see it but you just can't stop yourself, seeing all those details waiting to be colored and given the spotlight even if it's only till you get the armour on
I really like the intro explaining why this model is awesome. As someone that didnt know about Gundam until was I way past the age for it to have much impact (but love the models anyway) it helped me relate. Good job sir!!
OMG. MY DUDE, YOU'RE MY HERO! thank god another human being exists that understands the correct gradient for heat discoloration and didnt do it backwards with blue at the outter edge like nearly every single other person i have ever seen on the entirety of the internet!! HALLELUJAH BROTHER! 🤜🤛
the jegan fight you mentioned at the beginning of the video is one of mt favorite examples of there being other great MS pilots besides the named characters the grunt suits have a special spot in my heart you did an amazing job with this keep it up :)
I recently rewatched the first few parts of Unicorn and I really appreciated that fight scene a lot more this time around, the way the Jegan pilot is inputting commands and able to keep up with kshatria is impressive. He might've lost but at least the Feddie went out swinging
great build video. a little backstory. a little concept talk. a little build advice. a little model review. a little art supply/tool talk. some food. a happy Fluffy. and finally some good vanity shots. all with decent edits and good tunes. That's what I'm here for. 👍🏼
I think A high grade Stark Jegan was the first model kit I every truly modded and went all out with painting and weathering and a little custom detailing and really making it my own. It holds a specially place in my heart because of that.
Really like this format for your videos. I like hearing your thought process while showing relevant footage. Hope you can continue this for future videos. And as always, great build!
Great job as always Gundam, Your the reason the daughter and i have started doing these kits. We are both learning to air brush and detail paint and have learned a ton of tricks from watching your builds. Keep up the amazing work and can not wait to see the next build. Hail from the FridayNightTights Fellowship. and HAIL IT'SAGUNDAM!!!!!!
The Jegan is my favorite grunt suit personally, and the Stark Jegan is baller. Shame it's a P-Bandai. Missed opportunity to make solid cash. Also, once again, baller job Gundo.
Would love this kit someday. Attention to the little details is what separates great artists from the good. No one else may see it, but you know it is there, and now so do all of us. Keep up the amazing work.
Dude, it's your gunpla videos that inspire me to get my ass back into gunpla building. Also, a good way to block light bleeding is to spray flat clear coat on the clear parts and spray matte black on the inside of the plastic. Really looks good like that
Badass. I’ve never seen unicorn. My first was Wing, them the OG, then stuff like Seed. Iron Blooded Orphans was spectacular. I loved the 08th team. Stardust Memory hit me the hardest. I’ll go watch unicorn right now. Thank you for showing me a badass grunt. I dig the color scheme makes me think 1980s Japanimation for sure. Solid choice.
I havent watched gundam in a long time and have been wanting to re watch from the begining. Never got into unicorn or any of the newer stuff. Where is a good place to stop. Thanks for another top quality video papa g.
I'd say don't even bother with Narrative. I am not a Unicorn fan in the slightest but I can see the impact it made gives it some merit. Narrative however is just grabbing the worse parts of Unicorn and making a schlocky action movie out of them. Also I've been following the Moon Gundam manga and it feels like a better narrative version of what Unicorn should've been. Lastly F91 is fun if you don't mind the story being a bit all over the place. Feels like if it was a 8-12 ep ova it could've had time to feel more coherent but at least the animation and the mobile suits are very cool!
the pilot controls for disengaging the missle pods on the shoulders is so badass it's quite complex and there's a lot of animation to it but it adds so much to a mecha fight scene
You didn't go to far with the detail Gundam it's a passion project of yours if it matters to you then it matters you will find joy and pride in your detailing
Can't wait to see this PapaGundam always glad to see a new video (Also leaving a comment to show Susan some engagement I wanna make sure I get updates)
3:13 SWEET PUPPY DOWG, GÖRL 🥹❤️ 4:02 So when are you going to turn a Beargguy into a Fluffyggal? Lol 7:46 It’saGundam over here mixing paint like Picasso and I’m over here just getting into painting with the Taniya spray cans like a filthy noob 🤣 9:05 I’d totally watch all of the steps! What is reverse washing?! What witchcraft are you conjuring?? 10:48 That looks freaking awesome, though! 11:44 I see a Fluffy!! 🥹 13:17 That looks amazing! Another awesome job! Can you have ItsAnus make custom ShinGundam water or slide on decals? That would be 🤌
Too dope to smoke! It has like 3 minutes screen time, yet that scene was so badass to me growing up, I was hurling my wallet at PBandai yelling, “take my money” I already have a mint-chocolate chip colored CCA jegan sooo I came up with custom colors.
Amazing work as always, and inspirational! Guess I'll need to watch Unicorn next! I built a cheap MG Aile strike just to try weathering it in the style you did on this one, but I didn't have the courage, too afraid I'd mess it up. I always get too attached by the time I finish painting. I really like these proper militaristic looking grunt suits, I'd much rather build these then the flashy seed wingsuits, these are just much harder to come by.
There's a certain charm in being the faceless, nameless mook in a War conflict. A cog in the machine run amok out of your control, thrown around and twisted by unnatural forces the human body was never meant to with stand.
Now I want a MG Stark Jegan~ Your custom work is really badass, It has so much intricate details! I ca tell much love was poured when creating this masterpiece
Yes!!! I love it when we get another video like this. Really encouraging and inspiring work man- the Jegan is so iconic. The mixing of paint is a pain; but the tone you got is great.
Beautiful work, papa! I painted my Hi-Nu's inner frame and left half the armor off so I could look at it. Don't know if I'll do it again, especially on my current to-do list of RG God Gundam and the MG Barbatos.
Fabulous video gundam! One of the best in a while. Im so so so glad you did the commentary. Its what makes your videos better than any other. Keep rocking bro!
Yeah, always use Mark Set. Mark Soft is a bit dangerous though, as it kinda dissolves the decals. If you don't get it in the right position on the first go, it's a wrap. As long as the decal is going on a flat surface, Soft isn't really necessary.
Damn i was at a hobby show and Born Paint had a booth. Should have gotten some to try. When mirror finish is needed i usually use Alclad, but lately some of my alclad has oxidised in the bottle...
This is a super suit job man! I do think being conservative with weathering is a good idea. I mean, people take care of their machines, and unless you are far in to a long protracted engagement, you aren't just going to let your tool be all banged up. Just like a soldier cleans their gun when they have the time or a tank crew getting regular maintenance if possible. So the machine actually functions when it needs to. And while there is some wear in space, I do think it would be less then say a jungle most of the time. The urge to over weather is definitely there, but also having restraint to feel when and how much seems appropriate for a situation is a good instinct to have.
That Stark Jegan was... oh man... That defense from funnels, pulling the lightsaber... Don't know why, but Gundam Unicorn really showed the "weight" of suits... Also, just seeing that camouflaged Jegan at the base in later episodes (5-6 don't know) and the scale compared to shuttle...
Ah the Stark Jegan. The grunt that stole the show and became as iconic as many of the hero suits.
tru dat
BanDai: Wow, this one grunt suit is really popular in some circles... better put out another SEED kit!
Can't blame them if it prints money
I wish they made revive version of the hi-zack, or other cool uc ms
@@RevanR i blame the people with shit taste in Gunpla and Gundam series.
Some people don't see the charm of the grunt suits, the GN's, the Ez's, GM's, even the buCUE, I even love the demi trainer
this year has been torture for me (UC lover, seed hater 😭)
4:03
Can’t believe a dog built this, really speaks to the ingenuity bandai has with making pla models available to everyone
I wish I had more time to paint stuff tbh.
I like the overview during the build videos, makes them more engaging imo
For the entertainment you create
bless you sire
This channel is so underrated, you can tell you put your soul into these, well done Gundam
8:25 man I totally understand you, no one is going to see it but you just can't stop yourself, seeing all those details waiting to be colored and given the spotlight even if it's only till you get the armour on
It's like a censored pinup
That urge is why I have no social life lol
I really like the intro explaining why this model is awesome.
As someone that didnt know about Gundam until was I way past the age for it to have much impact (but love the models anyway) it helped me relate.
Good job sir!!

Top Quality art from PapaG.
great build video. a little backstory. a little concept talk. a little build advice. a little model review. a little art supply/tool talk. some food. a happy Fluffy. and finally some good vanity shots. all with decent edits and good tunes. That's what I'm here for. 👍🏼
quality work sure... i am a new subscriber but very glad to be here!
You know it’s going to be a good day when you see a thumbnail from It’s a Gunpla in your feed. Love your work.
I love the voice over for the build video. Leagues better than just music.
Nothing wrong with painting it og color you just make it more realistic without deviating from its og desings
Awesome work Papa G, this is my 2nd fav EFSF grunt suit after the Jesta Cannon.
The Jeddah is sick. It came before the Jegan. Then the Jesta was last.
I've loved the Jegan since Char's Counter attack, my favorite "grunt" suits in all of Gundam due to its versatility.
I like the overboard details and the artistry in your builds, good sir. Great video and tribute to that unnamed pilot.
Keep up the amazing work.
it looks great Gundam. stark jegan scenes was one of the iconic scenes from gundam unicorn
Glad to have witnessed Gundum's first mukbang.
And then he gets fuked in the arse.
Gio San Pedro:
You are indeed a Stark Jegan ace, sir. Badass and legendary.
Tastefully done sir!
Dude, it's your gunpla videos that inspire me to get my ass back into gunpla building. Also, a good way to block light bleeding is to spray flat clear coat on the clear parts and spray matte black on the inside of the plastic. Really looks good like that
Great work here my friend
It be sweet to get a comprehensive video going over all the tools you use.
Your vids are therapy for me after a long day. And it's cheaper! Keep up the great work Papa Gundam❤
You pushed me to jump into airbrushes for my 40k stuff and man has it made my life and quality better. I appreciate your hard work!
Bandai: LETS PRINT ANOTHER RX-78-2 🗿🗿🗿🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Badass. I’ve never seen unicorn. My first was Wing, them the OG, then stuff like Seed. Iron Blooded Orphans was spectacular. I loved the 08th team. Stardust Memory hit me the hardest. I havent watched gundam in a long time and have been wanting to re watch from the begining. Never got into unicorn or any of the newer stuff. Where is a good place to stop. Thanks for another top quality video papa g.
I would stop right at Unicorn or Narrative if you’re just sticking with UC. Maybe it’s just me, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of Victory Gundam or F91.

I want so bad, Stark Jegan a true ace machine.
the pilot controls for disengaging the missle pods on the shoulders is so badass
it's quite complex and there's a lot of animation to it but it adds so much to a mecha fight scene
You sir, are a scholar of your craft. I with I had the time, space and eyesight to do this. Keep up the good work dude, I'm rooting for you 💪🏼
The Jegan and Jesta line has been my favorite mass production suits, love the work.
A treat and an inspiration as always.
Dude I think that Jegan looks incredible! Thanks for sharing another great video.
I have the Jegan MG, such a beautiful and solid unit
Its already good even in snapfit, yet Papa G make it even better
Amazing paintjob!

The fight in the beginning was EPIC.
Too dope to smoke!
It has like 3 minutes screen time, yet that scene was so badass to me growing up, I was hurling my wallet at PBandai yelling, “take my money”
I already have a mint-chocolate chip colored CCA jegan sooo I came up with custom colors.
No wonder this suite is reserved for the special forces pilots. Great work man!
I love the grunt suits. It’s so much more fun to see them perform well rather than the Gundams and the newtypes imo
Amazing work as always, and inspirational! Guess I'll need to watch Unicorn next!
I built a cheap MG Aile strike just to try weathering it in the style you did on this one, but I didn't have the courage, too afraid I'd mess it up. I always get too attached by the time I finish painting.

UC Gundam will always hold my heart strings.
Gundam: "It was 2010 and I was miserable with my life".
More things change, more they stay the same.
Cockpit LED is a really nice touch, I love the build
Awesome work man
Gundam convincing my dumb self to actually touch my backlog with this upload.
Time to get snipping and painting. Thanks for sharing your art, Gundam.
Amazing work
There's a certain charm in being the faceless, nameless mook in a War conflict. A cog in the machine run amok out of your control, thrown around and twisted by unnatural forces the human body was never meant to with stand.
Animals always do good in the algorithem. Would be a good idea if you include Smokey or Fluffy in the thumbnails or vids more often.
-"Do you think I overdid it?" (Every engineer that built the 7 wonders of the world and more.)
damn thats a smooth green jegan tone , ive done 4 jegans sofar and none has the proper tone xv
If you don't want any light to bleed through the head unit, you would have to paint the inside black to prevent it. Another great build again man
Now I want a MG Stark Jegan~ Your custom work is really badass, It has so much intricate details! I ca tell much love was poured when creating this masterpiece
This is the first time where I watch a video on a kit and bought it right after. Beautiful grunt suit
Holy, nice job man. That is one mighty fine Stark Jegan. Kudos
Yes!!! I love it when we get another video like this. Really encouraging and inspiring work man- the Jegan is so iconic.
The mixing of paint is a pain; but the tone you got is great.
As someone that loves the stark jegan you did it justice bro
Love the style of the video and the intro. Sweet build too keep up the good work! 🔥
You inspire me gundam. Started my model journey about a year ago.
it is interesting to hear the difference between this itsa and the ista talking about pop culture and media
incredible work on this kit Dude!
awesome work!!!
Beautiful work, papa! I painted my Hi-Nu's inner frame and left half the armor off so I could look at it. Don't know if I'll do it again, especially on my current to-do list of RG God Gundam and the MG Barbatos.
I'm so glad I picked one up on drop. Debating getting another to cut in half in a decade or 2 when we get a 1/100 kshatriya
Another job well done, props man and not just for the suit but the video as well
Great vid!! The Jegan looks great!!
You killed it man so awesome ,You always do a outstanding job on your kits and this one is no exception ,nice work !
Amazing work as always Gundam
Damn i was at a hobby show and Born Paint had a booth. Should have gotten some to try.
When mirror finish is needed i usually use Alclad, but lately some of my alclad has oxidised in the bottle...
I enjoy 'It's a Gundam'. But you are an artist. I really enjoy watching you work as you bring another Gundam to life! Sick model Papa G!
lovely paint job!!! looks fantastic!!
Umi-chan would be proud
This is a super suit job man!
I do think being conservative with weathering is a good idea. The faceless Hero, Salute!
I'm just a scrub builder. I've only just recently got comfortable doing panel lining. Even then I'm not all that good at it.
Will you ever try an animation background for the final reveal footage? Use greenscreen or something
What a beaut
Wow. This is some amazing work. Love it.
Nice build. I actually just got my MG Stark Jegan from P-Bandai store. Haven't build it yet. Watching this is very inspiring.
쓰러스터 색깔이 너무 인상적입니다. 멋지네요! 프레임 디테일도 정말 훌륭합니다. 잘봤습니다-
Looks so good!
Another masterpiece that backdrop always helps bring it all together though with all the mechanics (or as Disney calls them MechNicks lol).
13:14 Was that stink on rice comment a kingcobrajfs reference :0
maybe led filament for the visor
I jumped on this preorder when it came out
