As with any Gunpla, it'll be a mystery why some kits (or variants) get released quickly while others take years; even if there's a variant they can use.
I love working on parts that no one sees, some parts you paint to impress others and some you do to impress yourself. Also the act of painting is just therapeutic at times and I cant stop.

I recently rewatched the first few parts of Unicorn and I really appreciated that fight scene a lot more this time around, the way the Jegan pilot is inputting commands and able to keep up with kshatria is impressive. He might've lost but at least the Feddie went out swinging

I built a cheap MG Aile strike just to try weathering it in the style you did on this one, but I didn't have the courage, too afraid I'd mess it up. I always get too attached by the time I finish painting. I really like these proper militaristic looking grunt suits, I'd much rather build these then the flashy seed wingsuits, these are just much harder to come by.

How are the nippers? I do like the idea of being able to just get a new blade instead of getting another whole nipper but does it cut as smooth as SPN-120 Godhands?

I'd say don't even bother with Narrative. I am not a Unicorn fan in the slightest but I can see the impact it made gives it some merit. Narrative however is just grabbing the worse parts of Unicorn and making a schlocky action movie out of them. Also I've been following the Moon Gundam manga and it feels like a better narrative version of what Unicorn should've been. Lastly F91 is fun if you don't mind the story being a bit all over the place. Feels like if it was a 8-12 ep ova it could've had time to feel more coherent but at least the animation and the mobile suits are very cool!
That Stark Jegan was... oh man... That defense from funnels, pulling the lightsaber... Don't know why, but Gundam Unicorn really showed the "weight" of suits... Also, just seeing that camouflaged Jegan at the base in later episodes (5-6 don't know) and the scale compared to shuttle...
it's nice that we have a Master Grade Stark Jegan, but WHEN THE HELL ARE WE GONNA GET MASTER GRADES FOR ALL THE F91 JEGANS?!?!?!? I want that damn Master Grade Jegan A Type already, dammit! I've been modeling since the early 90's as a kid. God I love all big giant robot's. They are just so bloody cool. From Warhammer 30k Titans, to Gundams, to Five Star Stories Motar Headds, Heavy Metal's in L-Gaim, Votmos's (scope dogs especially) in Armored Trooper VOTMOS, Valkyries in Macross.... and I could go on and on. All are just so bloody cool. For my titans I do like weathering them as I think it looks better then the show room condition. Gundams I think look better with a nice clean paint job. Keep up the great modeling and stay angry papa gundam. I hope you can escape from NY soon. For chrome and metals have you tried Alcad II? I've heard good things about it. Talking about releasing suits... Im a Zeta fan. I got Amuro's white zeta from Gundam evolve 9 years ago. I missed the P-Bandai sales and now those suits go for silly money. Kinda like the re/100 hamma hamma and Bawoo. Please do a re-release on the Hamma Hamma Bandai.
Watching UC Gundam really makes me feel sorry for mass production mobile suits. I really want to see a Gundam series (or manga) where the hero doesn't pilot a gundam or special prototype MS. They just pilot a GM or other mass production MS (maybe customized) and gets by on skill and manly fighting spirit. Their rival and the antagonist would be piloting a special prototype MS. I guess 8th MS Team was close to that, but the were still piloting Gundams and the EZ-8 was a unique suit. Yes, I want a Gundam story that doesn't have a Gundam.

Great work! I've actually bought three HG Stark Jegans. I keep trying to add plaplate details and an LED in the head with a battery pack and switch in one of the missile pods, and keep screwing up.

The Stark Jegan (RIP the pilot, you were awesome), one of the three best things to come out of the Unicorn anime/OAV in my opinion. The other two are the Jesta and the song/BGM "Mobile Suit". This video has made me more excited to work on my own Stark Jegan soon though I'm just a straight builder myself, due to having no artistic skills whatsoever. Probably gonna put it beside my Jesta and Jegan D-Type (Rollout Colors) when it's done. And speaking of MS with shoulder missile pods, yo Bandai, can we have the effin' GMIII in Master Grade already? The kit's practically 70% existing already since it's just mostly a GMII + Gundam Mk.II with additional missile pods.

Yeah, always use Mark Set. Mark Soft is a bit dangerous though, as it kinda dissolves the decals. If you don't get it in the right position on the first go, it's a wrap. As long as the decal is going on a flat surface, Soft isn't really necessary.
Beautiful work, papa! I painted my Hi-Nu's inner frame and left half the armor off so I could look at it. Don't know if I'll do it again, especially on my current to-do list of RG God Gundam and the MG Barbatos.

The Jegan if you think about it has been the longest running grunt suit in gundam lore from the beginning of Chars counter attack to the beginning of gundam F91 an that's saying something for a grunt suit for its usefulness an don't get me started on the Jegans MSVs that we'll probably never get as a model kit like the Roswell Jegan that was a testbed for the fin funnels use before the Nu Gundam was made.

I think rusting only makes sense on zakus on like 8th Ms team, cause it’s made out of steel and it’s humid as shit. Doesn’t make sense for Gundams cause they’re made of moon titanium. Love the channel

I would stop right at Unicorn or Narrative if you’re just sticking with UC. Maybe it’s just me, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of Victory Gundam or F91.

Yeah, always use Mark Set. Mark Soft is a bit dangerous though, as it kinda dissolves the decals. If you don't get it in the right position on the first go, it's a wrap. As long as the decal is going on a flat surface, Soft isn't really necessary.

Beautiful work, papa! I painted my Hi-Nu's inner frame and left half the armor off so I could look at it. Don't know if I'll do it again, especially on my current to-do list of RG God Gundam and the MG Barbatos.

The Jegan if you think about it has been the longest running grunt suit in gundam lore from the beginning of Chars counter attack to the beginning of gundam F91 an that's saying something for a grunt suit for its usefulness an don't get me started on the Jegans MSVs that we'll probably never get as a model kit like the Roswell Jegan that was a testbed for the fin funnels use before the Nu Gundam was made.

I think rusting only makes sense on zakus on like 8th Ms team, cause it’s made out of steel and it’s humid as shit. Doesn’t make sense for Gundams cause they’re made of moon titanium. Love the channel
