When new hot point stove will not spice the ground to the neutral. It says it's a bad line. So it actually has a fail-safe so you won't burn the house down. You have to have the right harness. And this is probably going on with all new stoves. Ok there's no way around it. Thank you ross
@Alfred-q8p cos I found 2 types at home depot 30 and 50 amp. I want to change mine for a longer cord as I want to change stove place. That left me confused 😕
My question is with the ground cable… the old 1 was 3 prong and the ground was separate from the cord so when I took it off it didn’t come off with the cord but the new 1 .. when I remove the cord to place old cord on, the ground is part of the cord. If that makes sense
The one with a white line on it is the neutral. It doesn’t matter if you mix the other two wires up, it still delivers power. Just make sure the neutral is where the neutral goes and not to mix up with the hots.
Also, he said that you can basically. The neutral and the hot are the same. We even looked up that harness, we. We even looked up that harness the Gray one and it doesn't say anything on both back-and-forth. But my problem is with the spicing of the ground. So I definitely need a four wired harness nowadays for these new stoves. And that is a definite because it even said on the stove that it was a bad line because of that ground the neutral. So I wouldn't even mess with that. I would get a harness that has four wires that one with the green ground. It will make sure that when you buy it that you figure out before you leave the store and make sure that you know what? The red one is trying to find you a harness that has all the colored wires in it Period and you won't burn your house down. Okay no fires.🎉
Okay, listen for the average Joe. You got both chords. No one can see anything you're speeding the video up, but you're dealing with 2 22 40. You're trying to kill someone? It's real simple. The 3 prong is, you know, in the middle. The right and left are both hot. The one in the middle is neutral. But how do you ground it out? You're moving too fast. You do it every day. But these videos are created for people that don't know, so I give this video totally thumbs down because it's not making any sense not making any sense. And do you ever think you can actually pick you back from the Central wire? The white one which is neutral and ground it. I don't know, but your video is. Substander

He had a test light. So when the test light was on the red light? That was the red one in the Gray harness. So you have to have a test light light
