THIS, IS….., AMERRRRRIIIIICCCCC-A! Be safe! Alot of amperage here. ….and Screw and clamp that Nickel plated shitty connector well unless you have a Solid Copper one. I do love this honesty!
You don’t have the “strap” he showed on this oven in the video, or you don’t have a ground screw at all? If you have a ground screw but don’t see a strap like his, don’t sweat it! Basically ovens use all sorts of different designs. This particular oven has a metal strap but yours may not. But you can still screw the ground wire into the ground screw on your oven and should receive the safety benefits from the ground wire still.
So I’m one, thinking his cord wires should be over to the right? And that big red x alerts me to something (not to mention he already admitted to being wrong about something in the beginning) and I understand someone’s question about 220, that I’m wondering if you add the two measurements he got, idk. I don’t remember all that.
Good video, but sloppy work. Don't keep the black wire short. Should have cut all wires to the same length to eliminate that issue. Also the crimp job was pretty sloppy with the wires sticking out everywhere.
Poor crimp on the black wire. You should've cut off the frayed end, about 1/2" and then stripped back the black wire so that all of the strands would fit into the crimp.
Very Helpful, Awesome that you saw your own error and owned up to it... couldn't have asked for more.
Thanks for watching, William. Glad I can help
Thank you!!!! My boyfriends at work and I wanted to do this alone this helped me so much
Glad I could help!
Thanks saved me a bunch of problems 😊
Very important. The receptacle laying on the floor is a no no. What happens if the sink overflows and floods the kitchen.
What happens if it doesn't?

Great quick n simple explain! Helped immensely! True man up for the overlook clamp down. By doing that a life will probably be saved! Great job 👏 👍 👌
Hi. I bought a range oven, it needs 4 prongs but I currently have 3 plugs.
How can it be changed to 4 prongs ?
That's what this whole video was about. If you didn't get that, please call a professional!

Your used to small of a terminal you should have never snipped the copper. Less copper can lead to damaging it
How do you plug a 4-prong into a 3-prong outlet
You dont. You need to change it to cord that fits. Thats the whole point of the video
Hahaha

Always have a multi meter so you can check your breaker is OFF!!! safely 1st.
If I get fried my lawyer will contact you!
Great share Fam
Next time just buy a new cord or good crimp on connectors. Also your really not supposed to cut stands of a conductor off.
Oh great he messed it up so I sure will too
Thank you. I don't know how single women in my age range ever did anything on our own.
You're welcome! It’s great to see you taking charge.
That oven receptacle looks pretty janky. It's not even secured to the wall
Yep. That's a whole other project!
No one wants to learn how to do it the wrong way
Well it's good to see when people make mistakes so we can all learn from them
Stoves are 220
So r dryers
