Nice vid, nice looking z4. This can also be done from in the cab by removing two Philips screws and lowering the panel under the glove box (UK cars), you will see the pipe in the bulk head - take out the grey foam bung. For easier than removing the pipe under the bonnet if you only want to remove one bung.
thnx for the short movie mister!!!! Just bought a z4 3.0si from 2007 yesterday and started right away with remhoving the sponge!!! Thanks again. Guy from The Netherlands
what are your rims, spec, do you have it lowered? looks terrific. hows ur z4 in terms reliability. thinking about getting a 3.0si roadster but kind of scared since when i owned a 135i it was a nightmare, one of the most unreliable cars i have ever owned which ended up me getting another engine.
It was personal preference as the noise was significantly louder with both plugs out. I'm afraid I sold the car a few years ago so don't have any videos of the sound!
I sold it because I had a new job commuting so bought an Audi A3 diesel. Sold the BMW to a family member. Afraid I can't remember details of the alloys it was a few years ago now. They were csl alloys. Genuinely best car I've ever owned. I now have another 3.0ltr straight six in my F30. Beautiful engine
@@iwantthatcar5189 Do you still have the diesel Audi? why do people think diesels are more economical to petrol engines? diesels are dirty and drink oil like crazy and they aren't as fast, plus they break down very often too.

+Jeremy Alvarez i notice the newer z4 sdrive3.0i are lowering on price. would that be considered a reliable z4?
Jeremy Alvarez is dangerous for The engine?
@J Alvarez Tell me where in hell would you get a 2007 Z4 E85? I think you are talking about E89
A Z4 3.0 is much more reliable than any 135 or 335
Thank you for posting, would have been better if you hold your mobile sideways (landscape) to fill the screen.
What wheels do u have and what size are they?
Can you tell me why you only removed the back end sponge only...and what kind of sound is this supposed to make?

I WANT THAT CAR!! Why did you sell?
@@iwantthatcar5189 Why did you sell it? please be honest. What were the wheel an rim size and width?

Hi, thanks for the video!
Can you tell me what rims you have and what dimension they are?
Thank you!

Does this modification have any repercussions?
no, it sounds the same, no point really,
