The pumping patch was great, we were booked in for the Sunday the storm was coming and ye gave us the option to go on the Saturday instead which was much appreciated, it’s great to see a family all working together and making a go of something and fair play to ya Phil you were on the way to get the goats and calves back in the feild and still took the time to come over to us and chat to us in the car park.
You know Phil, it's alright that there's nothing eventful happening. I watch your videos to unwind and see life through a farmer's eyes, if having less eventful days is part of it that is great to see.
Hi Phil , Many years ago we had a couple of pet goats that used to escape and join the datry herd , I found the best way to control them was to have an earth wire 6 to 9 inches above the ground so the goats legs were earthed when their necks touched the live wire , it worked well controling lost ramblers as well
Just funny watching you, driving youre new JCB Tele. Knowing bought me a new to me TM220 Yesterday and enjoy playing around all day Long. Greets from Western Germany from a 34 year old dairy Beef Cattle Farmer.
As I have fenced lots of different animals I can tell you electric fencing doesn’t work for goats or Alpacas the definite solution is 4foot horse mesh as they are unlikely to jump over it
