What I like about Phil is despite him having all the big machinery, he still used the likes of the 35
Another good one phil. Was like kilinaskully, heading off on the red tractor🤣🤣
Just come in it’s we just love watching Farmer Phil and liv 😎 bro as well love your channel beautiful videos love all the cows 🐄.So interesting 🧐 so good luck 🤞 and peace to all of Ireland 🇮🇪.
Great video Phil, great to have you back on a Tuesday.
Looking forward to seeing how the clover does and if it's something you'll do each year going forward. 👍
Great video Phil I just love when cattle are let out on the land after being housed for winter there’s a lovely note from the 35 great little tractor
The herdwatch is some job saves a serious amount of work how’s uncle Ian doing hope he’s ok
Cattles out so you now have space in the shed for more fleet to be undercover for a while.😉😃 that sound never changed over the years love those wee tractors and best climate platform any where. Stay safe 🏴
Interesting year ahead of us Phil with the price of fertiliser and fuel would it be possible to have a chat with father Phil to get his 5 cent on it.
Good luck with the cattle for 2022 Guys. Its hard to know what way this year will go, that's for sure. My neighbour who is a beef finisher told me today that he paid €2200 for cattle yesterday to put into the shed for finishing. Brave man.
i'm i the only one who expected to see the stock jumping around in sheer joy shouting mooooray?
Always nice to watch the cattle going out :)
Very good video Phil
Great video Phil

Great video Phil best of luck with everything for the coming year god bless you all and stay safe 🙏🇮🇪
Great video and hope uncle Ian is getting well soon and to all the family in Longford 🤙👌👍
Its great that the cattle are out in the pastures. The grass is such a beautiful green. I'm sure looking forward to seeing a bit of spring anywhere around here. The lawn is waist high in white stuff still & warm winter gear still is the style. Thanks for sharing!
those boys are all soo cute and need many ear scraches!
re bonjour encore une belle vidéo 👍👍👍👍
Great video Phil and it’s great to see the cattle going out best of luck 👌☘️
Great video again Phil and liv 🚜👌👍i agree with u on ur fertiliser ☘
Doesn't seem long since you were putting out the cattle last year phil another great video from you. Better get the John deere mower serviced up for getting your hair cut think the 6499 will be on her knees getting through it 😂
Great video look forward to seeing the red clover in nz we put it in grass mix after our maze silage crop
Great video when is the next video for the 6290 that was in the workshop great videos keep er lit
How about trying an ad-lib barley bull finishing system. Got to chuck the straw at them mind to prevent acidosis. You can get a good margin on a Frisian bull to 14 months in that system. But it’s knowing if the dairy farmer gave them the colostrum that’s the issue.
Trillick tractors has a couple of doors for 2685 was there yesterday
You will have to put a cab on the 35 m if you going to use it out and about in this weather.
Hey Phil great work always difficult at going out time brings back fond memories I note that your missing a Massey 148 out of the Massey family I just bought 1 here in Australia The only other Massy I ever owned was a 25 and that was a poor example of Massey, but did serve its place with a 600 Litre sprayer Yes there was a Block of weights out front Happy days from Oz
Your lucky, we will have to wait at least 2 months yet before we will be able to put any cattle out. 7 months indoors for our lot.
Great vid Phil…… will there be a vid on the 6290 agitating for the first time in 5-6 years can’t wait to see her in action
Evening
Be nice to have stock out weights not too bad I use a mineral lick at grass vitulix seem to be getting better weights since using them
Hi farmer Phil good video again really enjoy watching your videos even more now that iam on night lambing jobs. I see a nice good bunch of cattle there looks like liv as been doing a great job of looking after them its really nice to see you and liv working so hard. Glad the farm shop is doing well to. Just asking how is dolly doing or have I mist the news on her if I have really hope it's not bad news. Keep up the good work you two and father Phil also best not forget him. Hope your uncle Ian is good and on the mend. Looking forward to seeing the next videos Keep them coming. Steve
Good video Phil it was brass monkey weather on the 35
First good vid Phil
Need to build yerself a gator Phil unless there's a nice sponsor out there hint hint👍😂keep up the good work 👍
Just too let you know Trillick tractor have a door frame and back window for the 2000 series
Great to see them going out, less work for you as well. The piggies were excited when you had the calves in the yard, you could hear them making piggy noises, not sure what that's called, grunting?
Phil is there any chance you could do a video on your thoughts on how the hell farmers are goin to cope with the fertiliser and diesel prices or even shed construction prices. Just a thought for a video...
Hi Phil. What method did you use to establish the cover crop. It looks very even. Lovely cover
Disced the ground shook the seed on and disced it again
Thanks for your reply
Any results from cattle sent to factory?
Hello
Hi Phil, would this be a good year to grow high tonnage high feed quality crops like maize in order to maximise your fertiliser efficiency? How much maize would you need if you fed all your weaners on mostly maize in the shed?
Also we have re clover in 5 years now and it’s some job
👍👍👍
I wonder does cider vinegar work with rams?
What’s the roll bar in front of the workshop off
It’s off the 6cylinder BMC Nuffield
White clover would be better for honeybees, but if red clover is better feed that's what you need ,,👍
3:36 ... "here we are in the Bahamas". Well, that's what the subtitles said.
Hi you followed me back on tiktok and how much cows and bulls fo you have all together
Why were you lifting the shuttle when changing gear?
Lifting the shuttle engages the clutch so I do it to change gear
Hi phil what weight and age do you bring them into the shed for finishing
They come in to the shed in September when the grass on their rotation runs out. We don’t have set ages or weights for housing for finishing
Will you feed at grass in order to get them away before Xmas or will they go into the shed earlier to avoid underweight carcasses?
They’ll go into the shed earlier to get 100 ish days on finishing ration
@@FARMERPHIL3690 Very good 👌 Assuming you’re hoping to get them off within 9 months and your best animals are at 270kg+ and they come into the shed at 450kg to get out the gap at 550kg you’re talking about getting close on a kilo a day at grass which would be savage going off grass alone which seems strong. However tbf ye know ye’re cattle and ye’re land and have more experience with dairy bulls than most of the other lads in the country combined😂
Do you give the cattle minerals when in the shed?
Yes we have luck buckets and give minerals in the silage
Is your clutch pedal gone ?
No but it’s a habit from the piping tractor as the pedal was gone in it😂😂
I guess you've fixed the problem with the scale?
We have yes we had to bolt the feet onto the scales as they were only glued on
Looks like the start of killinaskully on the 35 😂😂😂
Any slurry vids o the way
the oul massey is better then any gator
Will ya sell d 6290 lad...
Will ye be hosting a silage day this year ?
Hopefully
Ya should buy a quad phil be a good investment
Should show use them cattle today ...😬😬
Any excuses to bring out the 35
Feeding the algorithm, cheering on Let’s go Brandon!
Great video Phil, be interesting to see how covers hold up without fertiliser. Any plans to reseed with multispecies swards in the future?
No plans to reseed with multi species awards yet anyways
Have you thought about castration they might do abit better
