I am planning to get over the Warrnambool over the next month or so 👍Glad to hear you enjoy the videos 👍😀
Another amazing upload! I’m so glad I came across your videos! Ps I have applied for a conductor position with V/Line, hopefully can join the fantastic workforce of V/line and start the rail career! Your videos are amazing! Best on UA-cam! 👍

I love Ballan I’m going to move there ❤ have travelled this route many times
It is a nice town. Thanks for watching 👍 😊
I love them videos mate, but i what i like more is,Whole trips recorded , like Southern Cross to Albury or Southern Cross to Bairnsdale etc... and also Maroona to Portland line, last station being Hamilton
I post them in sections first as a lot of people like short videos, but then I stitch them together and post long ones once a week or two for people like yourself that like long ones. Glad you enjoy them. 👍😊
@@driver667 Ye i like them mate. I`m from Slovenia but my main focus of ya know railfanning over Internet is Australia, NZ ,US museum and historical RR and UK by don coffey rail videos or RailCowGirl www.youtube.com/@RailCowGirl/featured in Sweden.
Mmmmmm. Another cozy journey on a cold wintry day. It reminds me of some wonderful historic steam trips in the last years of SA broad gauge, in a private 8 seat booth. Start singing Memories, from the musical Cats. 😁 (I have to ask, are you tired yet of my weird comments? Mood swings can create some crazy ones)🤪
Just drink up 🍷LOL. 👍😀

Cool how in some places the track has smaller tracks within? For strength?
They are check rails. Just in case of a derailment they will keep the wheels roughly guided along the track bed. 👍😊
Nice video once again. Btw do you prefer driving velocity trains or locomotive trains
I like driving both but I will definitely miss the locomotives when they are gone 👍😊
Typical June weather for this area, I see. Can wet tracks potentially be a problem?
They can be slippery with the worst time being with light rain. The water mixes with contaminants on the head of the rail to make it greasy. After a heavier rain that washes the head of the rail, its not as slippery. 👍😊
Is the track via Bungaree still used?🇦🇺
Unless the train has rubber tyres and 4wd, no as the tracks have been removed at Bungaree
The track via Bungaree has been removed. I made a video of it before it was closed. This is the link to it. ua-cam.com/video/tHts5UDLdao/v-deo.html
Driver, every now and then there is a set of tracks that start off together and then v off both directions and then stay appart about 1 foot, and after a while they v back together again? They are always inbetween the main tracks.... Can you please explain what this part of the track is for?
They are check rails, protection just in case of a derailment. They should guide the wheels to stay generally in line with the track. They are usually at bridges and overpasses 👍😊
@@driver667 I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing because the rails I am talking about don't come close to the actual tracks, it's like a small set of tracks in-between the actual tracks and they would have to be too far away from the train wheels to make any contact with them? Sorry about not understanding what they are.
@@driver667 ok I think that I understand,...if the train has already derailed they keep the train relatively straight?
@@BIGBaNANaBender that is correct 👌 😊
Are you going to upload the rest of the jouqney from Swan Hill to Melbourne, or was it just to Bendigo?
I still have to work on the rest of the journey. It will come along but for now it is just Bendigo. 👍😊
@@driver667No worries, thanks for letting me know.

What was the maximum speed on that segment?
160kph is the maximum speed on that section 👍😊
Are you the same driver that nearly hit those trail bike riders on this line 6 years ago?? Your face in some of your videos looks identical to the driver who was interviewed on the news after the incident…
Yes. 👍
Why ripout Siding rails on left, now where can grain wagons can park..
I think that it was decided that grain and freight trains don't have a reason to linger in Ballarat anymore, they all go straight through to Melbourne via Geelong now.
as said above, they run straight through now. 👍😊
Ok is it ballan or Baller...
Nah its obiously Ballan's Wonderworld.
Ha ha ha, wait...what? 🤣🤣🤣
