God, this version is so good... carries the spirit of the original so well, considering how prog rock inspired all the games battle themes are, minus II, until after 10, where they just... stopped. Until some select tunes from 14.
I wonder how this would sound if the brass and the rock guitar were swapped. I think the guitar would hit harder toward the end while the brass primes you for that harder edge.
well this version of 3 isn't meant to look better than the ds version it's supposed to capture the design of the original nes game but more polished so of course the ds version is gonna have higher fidelity and LOOK better
@@Regularguy2nd And also it's great to FINALLY have an official localized version of the original Famicom Final Fantasy 3 like finally you don't need the 3D remake anymore or download an english fan translated rom it's great to have an official version that is representive of the original famicom game where the main heroes are the 4 nameless onion knights instead of luneth, arc, refia and ingus
Orchestra of the DS version more captures the grandiose adventure that is FF3. This version is a weird rock orchestra that is so wannabe 90s hardcore too cool for school epic it hurts.

I love this version of the song, but I think the DS version is the better looking game.
