Rydia is as magical and precious as Yuna. I loved Yuna and Rikku and Kairi so much as a child. Rydia is also very precious. However, I never loved Aerith or Aeris for some reason. Terra is even a lot better than Aerith.

I'm still very torn over which soundtrack to use in game, new ones great but there's something charming about the originals. Some sound genuinely better like Kefka's theme. Then others like Gogo's theme where you get a completely new track that's so much better

Uematsu is a GOAT! Like how Final Fantasy series is we like grew up. When the World of Balance goes into a Cataclysm now to World of Ruin, before the music surprised me more about friendship and trust.

The entire soundtrack of this game is just epic and then you get to the opera scene....

Damn it Square, KEEP THOSE GODDAMN ONIONS AWAY FROM ME! I can't believe they not only added different camera angles for the scene but also went with voice acting for that one scene! They seriously looked at the "Hold my beer!" Moment they did with 7 way back when and uno reversed that!

Wow. For like 28 years I've always had it in my head canon that Celes must have had some kind of opera training as part of military school, and that's how I got my mind around her being able to walk-on crush her part. The fact that they directed someone to sing like a "normal" person makes everything make so much more sense. Great touch, and great work improving an already iconic videogame scene

Where is the Iconic Bass line? Sorry but that is what makes this theme special...even Scott Pilgrim paid homage to it...

As much as I loved the SNES original for this track, I prefer the GBA and Pixel Remaster versions. I like how they are (or at least feel) slightly slower-paced than the SNES version. The bass is also way better on the remixes.

Ff4 is my favorite ff and this pixle remaster soundtrack is amazing

This boss should be immune to Meteor Strike, but apparently isn't in the Pixel Remaster. Cool game Square Enix.

I will never understand why they thought changing the dialogue was a good idea. The original dialogue made this a good scene… here it feels like they’re bending over backwards to change it for changes sake, the writer just killed the scenes vibe in doing so… sorry to say it cuz I love the graphics but it goes to show how easily an incompetent can butcher a classic

Playing through all this back on the SNES in the 90s. I really thought the floating continent was the end of the game and this was the pre final boss fight.
