Hi Brendon!! so cool to see part two of your NWOBHM collection..... Raven's one of my favorite bands and they have been very active the last years putting great material, a live record "LIve in Aalborg" and a new studio record "Metal City", both i need to get...... I need to get a Satan, Tokyo Blade. cheers and be well
Every time I finish watching one of your videos, I always have two conflicting emotions: excitement for discovering new bands to listen to, and disappointment because there are hardly any CDs to buy
Sorry about that. Yes lots of what I talk about is killer stuff and cool to have but sometimes can be very hard to find too. I realize I built up my collection over the years when most of this stuff didn’t cost very much but now lots of it is collectible. Still I’m glad you’re finding new things to discover. 👍
@@BrendonSnyder Thanks for your reply! I just want to emphasize that your content is incredibly interesting and, thanks to your work, I've discovered so much new music. I truly appreciate the effort you put into sharing your collection with us.
An interesting phase in metal. I was just starting to get into music in the first half of the 80's and NWOBHM was the thing before glam metal and other took over. I just ordered the book "Denim and Leather" by Michael Hann which deals with this epoch.
It certainly was! I’d love to see something like that happen again with a grass roots do it your self style that is organic and grows without mainstream media’s help. Unfortunately social media has changed every thing and we will probably never see the likes of what the NWOBHM did.
I bought the Universal reissue of the White Spirit album really good. Being a Purple fanatic I seek out bands that have a heavy DP influence. This definitely does highly recommended.
Good stuff again; Tokyo Blade is another band I got into in the 80's. The debut album was titled "Midnight Rendezvous" for the US market. Best track they ever did: "Warrior of the Rising Sun."
Excellent video Brendon - love Tygers of Pan Tang - The Wreck-age a particular favourite. The band were championed by my local radio station in the North East of England during the 80s so I have a soft spot for much of their early stuff.
Tomorrow or Yesterday Samson such a great song ! Only you would be pulling out the Trespass albums such a great NWOBHM Band .That Stampede Bootleg Great too !
I know I'm late for the party but I love your NWOBHM videos! I collect everything and anything NWOBHM as well. I have much of what you have but I am really impressed with what you have that I don't have. Can you tell me where you find your Neat cd's? Some of what you showed I either have never seen before or rarely see on Discogs or EBay. Also, I am a huge Pagan Altar fan, are you familiar? If not, I highly recommend! Thanks Brandon!
Excellent selection. I should check out "Savage"! I'm surprised you haven't shown any Venom (speaking of Neat records...). The classic era of Venom is sooooooo great! Those "Neat Records" compilation look awesome (could you tell me if they have a specific title and the release date?)! Cheers.
Tygers Of Pan Tang: Studio albums: Wild Cat (1980) Spellbound (1981) Crazy Nights (1981) The Cage (1982) The Wreck-Age (1985) Burning in the Shade (1987) Mystical (2001) Noises from the Cathouse (2004) Animal Instinct (2008)[10] Ambush (2012) Tygers of Pan Tang (2016) Ritual (2019)
Brendon, Here’s the Satan albums in the correct order: Court in the Act (1983) Suspended Sentence (1987) Life Sentence (2013) Atom by Atom (2015) Cruel Magic (2018) Earth Infernal (2022)
Awesome second half to the NWOBHM collection!
Iron Maiden is my favorite NWOBHM band. Bruce Dickinson's voice is phenomenal and it's just like they describe him: Operatic.
I love Bruce’s solo work as well. Especially when he partnered up with Adrian Smith on guitar. It was a great precursor to the Iron Maiden reunion.

The book is awesome mate enjoy.

I’m glad the album is back in print. It’s so good.

There are so many great bands from this era that didn’t get the attention they deserved. Tokyo Blade being one of them.
Excellent video Brendon - love Tygers of Pan Tang - The Wreck-age a particular favourite. The band were championed by my local radio station in the North East of England during the 80s so I have a soft spot for much of their early stuff.
I’m fan of all of their different eras. Wish the band had more recognition though.
@@BrendonSnyder agreed! great band

Tokyo Blade’s second album “Night Of The Blade” rules.
Yes that’s a good one too!
both of their first two albums are killer! "Warrior of the Rising Sun" is a great early compilation as well

Have you albums by Tank? The bordered on NWOBHM and were/are excellent!
…wait and see! 👍

Savatage is excellent! Both incarnations. But regarding Venom, I’ve never been able to get into them. Just not for me.
@@BrendonSnyder Yeah, I get it, Venom is an acquired taste. I first heard them when I was a teen, so they really stuck with me. Cheers.
