- After a year of use the "boost mode" button on the sprayer will not stay on in all water settings. The sprayer toggle itself still works great. There are two spots of rust on the stainless steel basin.

Stainless steel does NOT rust on it's own. It had to be something that was set in the sink and the rust from it. Yes stainless steel will always show spots, and will scratch. Use a very mild abrasive cleaner like "Soft Scrub" and a sponge to clean or perhaps a pad like a "Dobie" plastic pad. Thanks for the update!

Appreciate the review!! Just installed mine yesterday and am really pleased so far. I believe white vinegar solutions are best for any water spots and you don't risk marring the metal. The silicon mat definitely leaves a lot of space for food and "sink grime", but just follow the care instructions for regularly cleaning the mat (dishwasher safe) and rinse/scrub the sink basin regularly when doing dishes.

Dawn and vinegar is the best for hard water on almost every surface.
I use my current sprayer all the time. How do you like this one vs an added one on a different sink?
Kohler states that you need a minimum 36” width cabinet base. Do you think this will fit in a 31” width cabinet? The basin width is 30 1/4“. Thanks
Mine has corner bracing that the sink would hit if it was only 31 inches wide. Make sure you can cut out the corner bracing without affecting the integrity of the cabinet.

Call up Kohler, they're pretty friendly and might send you a replacement for free or discounted price. I believe the part number is K-78956. If it were me I'd upgrade to the stainless mat.
How hard was it to drill a hole for the osmosis system
Not very hard at all. I used a step drill bit.
We have a standard double stainless steal sink. Was it worth it to upgrade ?…..I see you have allot more room for larger pots and pans. How is the Facet ?….It it well built ?….its onsale at Costco for $259
The unit for sale at Costco now, at least at ours, is a different kit. They made the inside corners of the sink basin rounder and the faucet has a different design. As for switching to a single basin from a double basin, we are still happy with our decision. It's nice to throw whole baking sheets in the sink, for example. If I washed dishes by hand I might get a double sink, but in 2023 we have dishwashers that don't even need a prerinse 😂
Maybe rubbing some baking soda on the rust would get rid of it
a very very small dab of bar keepers friends with help cleaning it and with rust
Omg , a sink is supposed to be cleaned daily.... 2 weeks ? Why ?
