The story of Howard's Hot Car is a tear jerking tale of a young 7 year old boy who was locked in a car for 3 hours in 90 degree weather while his alcoholic Father Howard went to buy more booze. As a result of heat stroke he also received major brain damage causing him to hallucinate and imagine that his favorite childhood characters where with him too. He only sat in the middle seat because that was the only spot where the sun didn't shine.
