wait until universal basic income arrives..then you can spend $1000 a month on lego lol

@@rabarebra depends on the situation...having any job doesnt guarantee complete financail stability ..it depends on the ratio of income to expenses..for examply if your jobs pays $2400 but your rent is like $1200 plus utilities and then extra for food and whatever else..then you wont have much money left over...for anything..so thats called being working and broke..so having a job doesnt guarantee anything..
I watched someone drop 15K at a lego store during a Lego convention in 2002 and the same person did it a year later again for a total of around 7k. Also having worked in Lego retail in the mid 2000's $2k purchases were not uncommon during the holidays. Unfortunately most of those large holiday purchases were well off people who really didn't know anything about the hobby and would bounce around between themes as they didn't know their kids very well from how they interacted with me while I was helping them.
Most people: I wish I had $2000 to spend on a LEGO store
Me: I wish there was a LEGO store in my country

1969 is the year of the first moon landing. The T-Rex set was a really fun to build. Lego has helped keep me sane for the last year.
That’s amazing they got it the same as the moon landing
1969 moon landing was fake it was filmed in a Hollywood studio
@@animeguygaming4803 wow, I had no idea there was anyone left who believes the moon landings were fake.
I was going to say the same thing about the piece count.

I been watching a couple of this guys videos and I love how genuine he is, imma say its a bit cringey how he acts but I mean that in a good way. He's hyped about legos and seems excited for them and its cool how he isnt super over exaggerating his joy for it like you see most youtubers do for videos. He's just a guy who likes legos and wants us all to see
Underrated comment, very well explained. 👏🏼
Agreed hes so genuine. But the facemask 💀
yes, he's cringe but in the best way. Like his passion for lego is almost infectious. He's just a lego dork who wants to show people. I love watching people geek out about their interests and hobbies!!
@@AnimalLover101195 yh gotta love him
I wish I had friends like you. The collection you have so far is absolutely amazing. Keep doing what you love.
Those are some awesome pick-ups, especially during double points. Always great seeing people spending their hard earned money on things that make them happy.
I agree, being forced to spend your money (especially if you are under 18 and the only way to earn money is through deeds and presents) on stuff you do not want is the worst, I think we should mainly spend our money on clothes and stuff we really like while we are under the legal age of eighteen. 🤔

The piece count on the NASA rocket was the year it landed for the first time on the moon.
@Isaiah Snyder No the moon landing was July 20th, 1969. The set was made to celebrate 50 years of that, not the first launch.
@Isaiah Snyder It launched on July 16th 1969 and it took three days to get to the moon and a extra day came from orbiting the earth and the moon and it landed on July 20th 1969.
I remember when he was at 3k and I fell in love with his work. He’s come a long way in such a short time. Best of luck for the future man
I am fairly new to LEGO and have run into the dust problem. I just watched your video on cleaning legos and I never dreamed of using a "swifter" pad. Works great! Thank You.
We all knew Bricksie wanted to purchase sets during the last video
You sir, have outdone yourself. I am noticing a disturbing lack of Party Boats in this haul though.
Hahar i meed that set $75 on sale atm ...
Haha indeed a lack of party undoubtedly
I find it adorable that you and your wife share love for legos lol..I love legos a lil more than my hubby does, but we share love for cars 🥰
Do you collect Lego Technic cars?
I have a lot of respect for him and his form of content after just this one video because it doesn’t just appeal to a massive target audience, Lego’s one of those things that won’t get old like many styles of games these days, big up to you

I made $680 above the requirement, so I can't apply, but $1800 a month from my job is still enough.
Would be nice to have some extra cash to pay off my rent.
Hope you had fun with your lego

I love how you don’t do hauls with disclaimers. You shouldn’t have to clarify why you love this when you aren’t hurting anyone. Makes me feel like I’m apart of the city, just without all the fake stuff. Love you so much dog!! Praying for godd health & safety for you and the fam!!!

Thanks for the heads up on the base plates! I had not heard that. Great haul!
I'm sure there will be a replacement of sorts but don't want to risk it
Those are all the sets I wanted!!!! Great haul and video Bricksie!!
watching your hippieness with the hobby made me happy :) great collection
I would normally say $2000 is a little excessive, but the fact that I probably have like $5000 of plastic makes it justified😂

Great haul.
I got back into Lego again just before Christmas and my Lego bill has been out of this world catching up with many sets.
Everytime I see your live stream and videos I feel the need to buy just one more set.
It always ends up with a couple.
Alone this year until now I have spent about $6-7k on Lego and wanting more and more.
I’m hooked again and just dedicated a 240 square foot room as my new Lego room.
It’s going to be awesome. I hope.
Thank you for bringing me back to life.
Love ya and see you soon.
Im a new sub. Great to see you having good old innocent fun. Great haul, great room! Lego helps keep us sane. Lots of hard work goes into being able to have such a collection.
I had to talk myself into buying a $200 LEGO set today as an early Christmas gift to myself. I can’t imagine what I could do with a $2000 budget. Maybe someday lol
It’s a dream come true, at least for him…mine is still over the rainbow!
Great sets to invest in!
My family have most of the technic builds you saw there and Apollo 1a, the rocket ship, AND TONS OF CARS
Your Lego room is so sick!! Goals!!
the 1969 pieces has meaning because it is the year the USA landed on the moon. The designer said he wanted to use that many for that reason.

@@rabarebra I understand your point of view. But as you said, it's a personal choice/opinion/desire. We are not a pundit, so we can't classify that most people buy all sets just because Lego launched. This is not my case, and probably not most people's case as well. We buy what makes us happy, that's it. Assembly Square is not for you, that's ok, it was for me, so I bought it. You saved some money in there, and that's exciting!

Yes, the 1969 pieces in the Saturn V Rocket, should remind of the Date the Astronauts landed ( 21.07.1969)
Good on you mate! But let's be honest: It's UA-cam ad revenue, donations from viewers and the fees you charge peeps in the Lego community you worked hard to create that pay for all this. Bricklink profits of the sets you have for sale won't make a serious dent in that $2000 budget! 😂
Indeed all of these different entities work toward a common goal. We have been able to create an amazing community of people on the Bricksie UA-cam channel. I am forever grateful and can't wait to do more fun and interactive things as we move forward into the future!
