The Impact of the MoNIS Project in Nigeria - Episode 1

Launched in December 2021, the Modernizing the Nigeria Immigration Service Workforce (MoNIS) Project has driven transformative reforms within the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS). Key achievements include the implementation of the Career Progression Policy Framework and the Gender Mainstreaming Policy, setting new benchmarks for institutional efficiency, inclusivity, and innovation. Implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) and funded by the Government of Denmark, MoNIS has positioned the NIS as a leader in workforce modernization and gender equity.
