The International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) is an international organisation, with 21 Member States and working in more than 90 countries worldwide. Contributing to the development of better and safer migration policies and programmes, ICMPD takes a holistic approach to migration: structurally linking policy and research, cooperation, community outreach, and capacity development. With over 500 staff members, it takes a regional approach in its work towards efficient cooperation and partnerships along key migration routes, with a focus on Africa, Central and South Asia, Europe, Mediterranean, and the Middle East.
Founded in 1993, ICMPD holds UN observer status and cooperates with more than 200 partners including EU institutions, UN agencies, Member States, and several countries. ICMPD receives contributions from its Member States and bilateral donors, the European Commission, UN partners, and other multilateral institutions.

Стратегический диалог “Прогноз на 2025 год: Какие изменения в миграционной сфере следует ожидать?”
Жан-Луи де Брауэр и Ральф Генецке вновь собрались для оценки ключевых событий в области миграционной политики 2024 года и обсудили ожидания на 2025 год.
После принятия Пакта ЕС о миграции и предоставлении убежища государства-члены сталкиваются с различными вызовами, связанными с его реализацией. На фоне электоральных успехов антимиграционных партий, а также конфликтов и кризисов в соседних с ЕС регионах, ЕС активизировал свою миграционную дипломатию с ключевыми странами-партнёрами. Участники дискуссии проанализировали продолжающиеся усилия по противодействию нелегальной миграции, контрабанде мигрантов и торговле людьми, а также новые динамики политики возвращения и партнёрства с третьими странами в контексте политических приоритетов новой Комиссии. Обсуждение также коснулось правового статуса перемещённых украинцев в ЕС, планов по развитию законных каналов миграции и других миграционных изменений политики, ожидаемых в 2025 году.

I recently started a blog www.nekosiskaleidoscope.com/ where I share my experience and frustration with the traditional saving, investment, and borrowing channels available to those living and working in the diaspora.It also covers my quest for alternative channels back home that are generate more return and contribute to the economy such as SACCOs which have been a life saver for me.If you would be interested to read more about it, click on the link. I hope to learn what others in the diaspora are pursuing in terms of saving, investment and borrowing alternatives.

Не могу найти информации о том, как у Вас решаются вопросы с ограничением ввоза и распространения инфекционных и паразитарных заболеваний и их переносчиков, которые могут пересекать границы с людьми и их вещами . Какие предпринимаются меры по обеззараживанию территорий, объектов хранения продуктов питания и мест проживания мигрантов. Буду искренне признателен если Вы сочтете нужным выйти на контакт или сообщить нам о состоянии дел в этой сфере. Управление биорисками с каждым днем становится все актуальнее в связи с увеличением потока мигрантов из не благоприятных стран по эпидем. ситуациям и глобальному потеплению климата.
