It is common to read, speak and write good English in Singapore as Cambridge English is the standard Education for all. Being SINGAPOREAN, JJ Lim , Stephanie Sun, Kit Chan and Tanya Chua are all well verse in English. The only thing is back home,, being multi cultural society the local like to add in other languages to enhanced the flavours of communication. :)
That is interesting. Thanks for your insight. Taiwan is hoping to become bilingual (Mandarin and English) in the next few years but I really don't see it happening.
