    informative , thanks. after I patch the rot in the frame , replace the rear dana 44, the gas tank skid plate , the front drive shaft, the heater core and blend doors , the engine oil pan and trans pan I'll do the drivers seat . O - and the missing rocker panels. this 2000 wj is considered in good shape for upstate n.y. rust belt lol . project title - beating a dead horse.

    Hey Tyler, great tutorial!!! I think that once it's in the sun for a while & a few butts slide in & out of it & it gets a few farts under it's belt the wrinkles will smooth out!!! Thanks for sharing another informative video!!! 👍👍🙂

      Yes! Even if it isn't matching perfectly at least it looks like someone cares about it! Thanks as always.

    Great info as usual Tyler. Have used Richmond multiple times for various Jeeps/Ram Trucks and am very happy with product and service! In fact getting ready to do my 03 Limited drivers bottom this week!

      I agree I was able to use a used passenger seat foam that was in good shape on the drivers seat on one of my Jeep's in this video.

    Alex from LegitStreetCars uses a product that works very well on seats. I wonder if "Clyde’s Leather Recoloring Balm" would help the cover color match?

    Hey Tyler what a great WJ video (Like all the previous ones)! Bro, what is the tire size you use with the 17" JK wheels with 2" lift? Do you think I could use 235/65r17 without lifting it? Thanks in advance for your reply and keep it up!

    • @ascendantrobin3230
      @ascendantrobin3230 Рік тому +1

      235/65r17’s are stock for WJ limiteds 👍

      @@ascendantrobin3230 Thanks for the information Bro, my Jeep is a 2004 Laredo with stock suspension, I just bought some JK rims and I was wondering if with those rims I can stay with the stock suspension with the tire size you mentioned above or is it advisable to raise it 2" and put a bigger tire size? So far so good with my Jeep, it works great and I would not like to have to change other parts of the suspension, or just be enough with some 2" spacers without altering anything else?

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Рік тому +1

      On a normal WJ with a 2in lift I have found 245/70R17 and 255/70R17 look pretty good on them with the 2in lift. This WJ happens to have been optioned with the factory Upcountry option that is roughly a .5-1in lift, so with the 2in spacers this Jeep is sitting about 3in taller than a normal WJ. So I am using 265/70R17 tires on it.
      Now like AscendantRobin said the 235/65R17 are the stock Limited size I believe so that should work great with the JK wheels and stock height suspension. Thanks for the view!

    What's the lift on your Jeep? Just curious what components you used. Thanks 😉

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Рік тому +1

      All of my Jeeps I "save" just get the 2in Rough Country metal spacer lift. If the Jeep is only going to be driven on the road you can even reuse the stock shocks as their length still works fine on the street, if the Jeep is going to be used off-road then correct 2in lift shocks would need to be used. Thanks for the view!

    No wonder you got less than 10k subs , We want to see how to remove the seat hence fixing my fucked up seat , how did you get the panel off that hides the seat belt , size of bolt on the seat belt , how did you unplug all the electrics some have different style clips, basically skipped every thing I wanted to see. Best of luck on your fucked up videos
