Trying to learn Haitian Creole because I live in Tijuana,Mexico but there are a lot of Haitian immigrants here now and I want to make them feel like at least someone understands them or wants to show them respect.

I'm From Chile and lately I've seen a lot of Haitian immigrants buying stuff at the market Where I'm working. It breaks my heart, because they seem so lost, they take a lot of time buying stuff and I really want to help them, but I can't because we can't understand each other's languages. So yeah, Hopefully this video will help me to make better connection with them and make them more comfortable ^^

love this. I deal with haitian patients and I feel horrible not being able to communicate with them. My co-workers say, "we have to watch you because you know many creole sentences"...lol. Now I have more to add.

Creole is sounding like a mixture of French, Spanish, and English.

I am a Bahamian and we have a large Haitian community and personally I think the Bahamas should embrace Haitian creole as a second language, and teach it in our schools.
