That sounds good news. What is the source of that information?

Fast forward a few years, and Craftsman has improved quality at lower prices, and Masterforce has become Menards branded workhorse hand tools. Even harbor freight has become a favorite of professional mechanics, over Lowe's and Home Depot, due to prioritizing exclusivity over customer convenience.
Amazon is America's tool store now.

Even power tools , good old Milwaukee is not made in America makita is but they are owned by a Japanese parent company . Wright tools are great but are really expensive. The way I see it you have to pay big money to support USA made tools. I think it's worth every penny . Trumps tariffs are a great idea .

Rico Suave Reyes and Wright, don't forget them. I'll be buying SK and Wright from here on myself. The Wrightgrip wrenches are amazing, look for the Wright / Snap-On comparison on here. I have Wright and Armstrong socket sets and like the Wright sockets better, but like the Armstrong ratchets best.

Check out Wright Tools too. They are (mostly) cheaper than Armstrong, and most of their line up is better, IMO. I do like Armstrong's Maxx ratchets better, but Wright are amazing tools.

I hope Trump puts a 35% tariff on gearwrench! It wasn't very long ago I stood in the back of the Apex tool truck and told the dealer I wouldn't have their gearwrench Taiwanese junk. He assured me that they would always have Armstrong and it would always be made in America due to their extensive government contracts! He then handed me a Armstrong hat and sticker and thanked me for being a customer. I wonder if he knew then that this was coming. Hmm...

I feel you brother. I have had a few 1/2" wright sockets and a 3/4" breaker bar set ($399.00 15 years ago). Best tools I ever owned. 500% mark up and 50% of those tools are rebranded from other manufacturers. I have noticed not all snap-on tools carry the made in the USA markings. Can you guess why ?

You want to make America great again ??? You start BUYING and SELLING goods that are actually produced in the U.S.A. Yes, it really is that simple...but most people don't pay attention. They want Wal-mart or Harbor Freight cheap. Now people say they want quality, or that they want made in U.S.A. if asked, but their actions don't represent their words. Ponder this for me... Let's say your favorite set of tires, or wrench set, pair of work boots or even a certain brand of household appliance is now manufactured overseas or across our southern border. Do you think that the product you are about to purchase is actually cheaper now because "they" couldn't pay a living wage to workers here in the U.S.A. and are now using slave, child, or very sub-standard labor to produce such goods ?? Heck no ! That new refrigerator, or tool set, pair of boots on the shelf costs us what I'd did when it was made here...and sometimes it even goes up. But make no mistake the financial gain was not ours at all. Not the American people.
We must produce goods here in the U.S.A. to have a shot for our future generations.
