I love it when Greg gets stuck in the chimney and half way through he says "I think I'm running out of air" gets me everytime Well done to Charlie for the choreography for the Nistle and Nostle song she done well with a two person dance on her own
As someone who has crewed a lot of student theatre, this series had me both screaming in laughter and horror - genuinely got me howling out loud, would love to see a second series!
I'd love if there was a sorta "goes wrong done quarantine"- "As you may know that things have gotten a little difficult, as many of our actors have had to stay at home to avoid getting ill- however, we still have contracts to sustain, so we've done a clever workaround to still bring you the magic of theatre from the safety of your own homes." Resulting in a 'usual' play done through webcams of varied degrees of quality- I see Dennis as either complete technical failure or stuck on a frozen frame. And various mishaps from trying to convey a conversation between two people in the same room though having to be filmed in two different locations.
Bryony's singing is practically eardrum bursting by the end. Also, I think it's funny in a meta way that Greg Tannahill doesn't appear on any Goes-Wrong-Alongs for the series but does for the two specials; as if its because he was actually able to get onto the set in those. Maybe Jonathan's having trouble with his connection?
I'm normally a friend of artistic freedom, but after seeing your grandiose show, I believe it should be outlawed for you guys to ever be out of character.
Tonight I was at a restaurant and a quiet, elderly woman came up behind me and asked "does that taste good?" I barely kept it together thinking of the button scene. Thanks for the laughs even after all these years.
SO glad i found this on Amazon Prime in the states. Former actor, so well acquainted with plays that go wrong. Costumes that go awry. Sets that kill. [As Cogsworth in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, I had a 100 pound (ca. 45 kg) sauna box. I didn't get to work in it until final dress, because i suppose the director thought i'd quit. LOL One show, one of the drops was going up, as I was entering and apparently, the costume got caught on the boom weighting the drop at the bottom. One of the stagehands saw the immanent danger, and unhooked me before "time could fly." The costume was so damn large I never had a clue of the danger. Time would not have flown very well. "Shows that Kill." indeed. That stagehand probably saved my life. I had to suffer many jokes about time flying [or not], but that was ok. I love the stagehands that keep hapless actors safe.
5:39 It's strange that they remark that Greg didn't feature much in a couple of the episodes for series 1 as in series 2 he barely featured in any of the episodes so it was kind of fitting that his one-man show is how series 2 ended with him the only person on screen for 5 mins.
On the locket episode I literally nearly died of a heart attack and suffocation through laughing so much! so funny! Guys and gals... please please please make another series! I love it!

In 2016 I recorded peter pan goes wrong (it was my first experience with these lot so it was amazing for a 9 year old) but something went wrong with the skybox so we had to delete everything we recorded Including peter pan
Shout out to the editor of these videos - there must be so much footage to go through and these cuts are hilarious! Particularly Charlie and Dave's cat popping in and the occasional close up on Charlie eating a biscuit or something. :D
Forgive me, for I am an American. But I still just find it so fascinating that the English leave Sherry, a very strong alcohol, to a fat man who is supposed to fly a sleigh all over the world. Like I hope Santa comes to America last, lord knows he needs some cookies and milk for that hangover. With the alcohol, dairy, and sweets, no wonder Santa needs a year to recover.
So I was part of the in house tech team when they toured with the play that goes wrong... Was operating the lights for the show... Laughed every single night!!!!

The only thing that annoys me a little bit about this episode is that in the ending while the husband apologizes to the wife for losing his temper (nothing wrong with that), but the wife doesn't apologize to him in return for her own bad temper and attitude. That just doesn't seem very fair to me. Both sides have equal share of the blame, so it doesn't feel right that only one apologizes while the other doesn't. Just wanted to point that out.

Jonathon's appearances get shorter and shorter in each episode until he fails to appear at all in this one, spending the entire play inside the chimney (EDIT - he does appear in the bit with the children at the beginning, but not the play itself)
