The Goes Wrong Show deserves a 3rd season. Each episode leaves me laughing my arse off 🤣 especially the GET OUT! and MWAHAHAHAHA *locked door* HAHAHA HAHAHA scene in The Lodge
I personally found that whole laughing scene a bit too long, like it would’ve been fine if it were shorter, but because it went on too long, I found it annoying. For that reason The Lodge is my least favorite episode.
What I really like about the bunkbed bit is when Dave lifts up Charlie, Charlie gives this little subtle smirk like she is impressed and a little "turned on" by the Dave's strength to able to lift her up. She also checks Dave out when their clothes are removed by their harnesses and he drops his pants, giving again the same little smirk. Just little subtle hints that there is some attraction from her to him too, hinting the romance that builds between the two as the show goes on.
I feel like there needs to be a 'Summary of 2020' play, where everything that went wrong, and yet, somehow, the play goes wrong by making the year go right

There's a few moments in here, where the script counts on the actors to drop character, and perform as the 'actors'. And the level of acting required to reveal those vulnerable moments - and get the audience to say "awe!" - is just astounding. I absolutely adore your comedic talents. But the fact that you managed to get the audience to want the alligator to win the girl, and have them clap because Tinkerbell may be out cold? Amazing.
The first time I watched "Peter Pan Goes Wrong," one of my roommates wound up checking in on me because "the sounds you were making weren't natural." I recommended it to my parents shortly afterward. Within half an hour, I received a text: "Your father's on the floor and I'm in the bathroom. Thank you very much." Thank you in turn, Mischief, for sharing your wonderful skill and hard work with us all.
Dennis' little wing flaps will never stop being soo funny to me. It's somehow really distressing and pathetic, kudos to Jonathan Sayer for making that happen 😊
‘The Play that Goes Wrong’ is a standalone production which you can only see live in theatres. It is not the same as the TV production: ‘The Goes Wrong Show’.
@@hannahday2228 Because the first was a requested Christmas adaptation and they'd stopped running it in Theatres whilst Carol was made for TV. Play That Goes Wrong was written for Theatre and is still performed in it.
Dave you are the snap snap guy in our family (sorry!) . We saw you in Norwich in 'A comedy about a bank robbery', as soon as you came on stage, my daughter lit up and turned to me and whispered 'it's snap snap!'. So glad we got to see you!
I love when Dennis and Max jump out the window fall and then dennis just go sit on a roof and start flap his arms to demonstrate he is suppose to be flying while the whole chaos with peter pan and Wendy is happening
After Peter Pan aired I was speaking to David (Suchet) about this show. Apparently he completely improvised the Poirot moment which is why the rest of the cast appear so confused/amused
This was my first foray into the amazing world of "...Goes Wrong" and I'll never forget it! This has made me giggle so much in the middle of the night that my dad (in the bedroom next to mine) had to text me and tell me to be quiet...or something, I don't remember, but this show always gives me the giggles, no matter what, it's this one and the one with the cat flying into the piano!

The cat _being thrown_ in the piano. ;-) Yes, that episode ("Harper's Locket") was hilarious (as were all the others :D)… "Father, would you carve the rump?". Though my favorite is, I think, A Trial To Watch (the one with the "fun-sized" courtroom)
I love Peter Pan Goes Wrong and I've watched it every Christmas since it was first shown. Ellie Morris is fantastic as Tootles, and the scenes with Trevor standing in as Peter Pan are hilarious.
I was so fortunate to get to see this talented cast twice on Broadway. Once with Neil Patrick Harris and once without. I stage doomed both times and the whole cast were so nice, so grateful for their fans.

I remember seeing this at the Pleasance Theatre in London many years back. Got £5 vouchers in the Metro newspaper for the show and spent the evening laughing about. Especially loved the mistimed pre-recorded sound gags. It's amazing to see how far they have come and still make laugh at the smallest things!

I'm an American and I've been watching the Goes Wrong specials and show since it began. I love it. It's the best comedy I've seen in my life. Everyone involved is so talented.
this show i literally how i discovered Mischief....I saw it pop up on BBC iplayer and saw David Suchet in the credits and was like "oh! ill watch anything with him!" and proceeded to spend the next two hours or so in near hysterics from laughing. i had to pause and rewind just to catch jokes i would miss because i was laughing myself into a migraine. i became obsessed. still am!
My family has a game called “Poetry for Neanderthals” and it’s really fun, but you can only describe stuff on cards using one word syllables, and a card that I got once was “alligator” or “crocodile” and I poorly described it. When I told what the card was, they said I should’ve done “snap, snap” instead of the poor description.
I downloaded this and Christmas Carol Goes Wrong for my birthday last month (thanks for the Amazon voucher, Mum). Keep rewatching them both because I'm missing so much due to laughing so hard. Plus I have The Nativity Goes Wrong on repeat. I want to personally thank every one in Mischief Theatre for helping me both with Lockdown and coping with depression and anxiety in these trying times. Long may you reign and keep on letting things go wrong 😘

Me and my family saw this on Broadway, and it was great. There were some differences, but it was about the same. And we got to meet some of these people, too.

I watched them on UA-cam in the public library, and try as I might I could not contain my laughing. The librarian came over to see what was so funny. Thankfully she likes me and did not kick me out. In fact, she only asked me to return after the library closed and to watch it so I would not disturb others.
Reminding me of the time I did a community musical in high school... We had one show where TWO main cast members fell off the stage at different times in the show. It was such a disaster hahahaha

Went to see Pan in Brum last March... funniest show EVER.

I’ve been able to see The Play that Goes Wrong in London (although not with the OLC) and in San Francisco during the tour (preCovid). Laughed my ass off during both! Would love to see either Peter Pan or Xmas Carol live tooooo

I watched them on UA-cam in the public library, and try as I might I could not contain my laughing. The librarian came over to see what was so funny. Thankfully she likes me and did not kick me out. In fact, she only asked me to return after the library closed and to watch it so I would not disturb others.
