Yea didn't want to mix the 2 wanted something a little more dedicated...to Reaper so people know what they are coming to see... Thanks for the comment...😀🙏🏾
Awesome Vid for the newbies! These are definitely good recommendations. Just 5 more recommendations for users is the Tyrell Synth, Alchemy (If you can find it), Dexed, MPC beats, and AAS player.
Great to see more Reaper, and the FL as plug in is interesting (i have used Harmor, it's really a monster). I use the free tier Vital and Surge XT, the rest of the list isn't very compelling for me but i'm sure it useful to many.
Thanks for watching... I think you are the first person to ask for a video about FL Studio in Reaper... If I get a few more people to ask for it I will make one... Thanks for the comment let me know if you have questions...😀🙏🏾
Y’all know that you can open FL Studio as a plugin in reaper right…? Like any DAW that lets you use VST, you can open the entire FL Studio DAW inside of it (Yes you can open fl studio inside of fl studio) Also there is a reaper theme setup thing to make reaper look and fl a lot like fl studio (even has the step sequencer)
Great video. Thank you so much. I just installed REAPER today and I have no idea what I'm doing so I'm watching a bunch of tutorials. I have a keyboard and Scarlett Solo, mic and headphones. I haven't made music in so long and back when i was a teenager doing it, Reason was the software I used, but it's been so long I don't even know how to use it anymore and no longer have access so i turned to the Internet to see what people had to say and what works. I really appreciate this video and will be checking out your other videos as I'm hoping to figure out how to use my keyboard piano to make music with the vsts rather than my mousepad
Dude, could you do a full video of how to utilize FL within Reaper? I know guys like Lex Luger use it in conjunction with Pro Tools but I never saw the point. I figured it would just a a stereo out but I didn't know you could get so meta with it! I'd LOVE to see you do a full tutorial on that! I miss Sakura :/
tnx! I really like the Monster synth. Took a while to download but works well and sounds great Sitala, Iota, Vital synth, Surge, Tal noisemaker, YoozBL 303, Ample guitar and base, Numa player all work fine for me. Ive had issues with Decent Sampler, Kontakt and Spitfire, I use the free offerings but the same old archaic issues would still exist if I purchased their affiliate libraries. I waste a lot of time making sure files and samples are deployed in the correct fashion and rarely are Aside from instruments the Kilohertz essentials is brilliant. I chain them together with Reapers stock synth and I like the effects
Thanks for the comment ... Have to try that YoozBL 303 not sure what that is... The kilohertz is awesome as well I like them alot... Glad you got something out of the video...😀🙏🏾
@@learningreaper Kenny Goia from Reapermania did a small tutorial on the BL303, its a really simple monophonic base synth ( ie Roland TB 303). It has a distinctive squeltchy sound you might hear in older house music
Analog Lab Play is great and there are a number of sound packs, free ad paid, to be had for. I also like HALion once you get passed the convoluted set up, and the additional sound banks you get when you add Dorico/ KInda bummed that when Christian Henson resigned form Spitfire, Labs dried up and then it seemed that other companied, like Orchestral Tools, seemed to be less motivated to give away any free instruments. And now that Spitfire is about to release Labs as a paid program, Pianobook doesn't have as many new instruments either. Can't complain too much though, as I made good use of a number of free tools over the years and then hen I was able to upgrade,, I went with ones that I could either actually afford or were the most useful and versatile.
Really appreciate your thoughtful, clear videos my friend. I produce techno&house mostly Dawless with grooveboxes and synths but am hybridizing with Reaper and this is amazingly helpful. Appreciate it
Modo drums is really nice... You should try the free versions to see if it will work for it .. but if you need one shots I have a free drum kit below in the description... Hope this helps...😀🙏🏾
@@learningreaper yea, but it diddent work. so my workaround was, to uninstall sine, reboot my pc and install my akai midi software again, and in pref. in reaper, setup my midi device one more time. now it's working again
FL Studio has an option to use it as a vst and it pulls up in any DAW that can do vsts... And why... Why not it has great sounds that you can use ...😀🙏🏾
It's a video about plugins and you can use FL Studio as a plugin... Where as Reaper has one synth and one sampler no sounds that would be a short video... Lol... Thanks for the comment..😀🙏🏾
Hey sir, I'm watching you from a couple of months now. Thanks for your helpful content. I'm gonna start selling beats as I think I'm ready for commercial use of my beats cuz I'm doing it for last 5 Years. Although i didnt had a pc, mastered production on FL studio mobile. But the PC version (i got a pc now) seems kinda unsettling for me, the UI yk. Not used to it. So i switched to reaper. I kinda find it easier than fl idk why but still it'll take a bit time to learn. I can make pretty good beats on my mobile though although it doesn't support Vst plugins, with sample packs, I try my best to make beats that sounds good. I'm gonna start selling and uploading beats on my yt channel from August. I am also a student and dont get much time, I'm studying software engineering, music is my passion. Its hard to manage both, do you think It'll be alright if I upload two beats per week? And do you have any suggestions for me? @beatsbyabhra is my yt channel btw.
That's what's up glad you got something out of the videos... Beat selling take a lot of time if you don't have money to promote... That's the key that all these people saying it's easy have ... It will either be paid promo or spending a lot of time making beats everyday and marketing on social media... To be honest 2 beats a week is a start but to make any kind of traction you will need 2 beats a day to gain momentum... It's hard to get people to purchase with no track record.. so promo would be the way to go since your in school that might be hard to manage... As an up and coming producer I would say try and find an artist to work with and build together.. chasing placements is hard and very time consuming and you don't always get paid or what you deserve... I will tell you no path in music is fast .. people make it seem that way but it's not... I don't want to discourage you but this is my honest opinion on selling beats ... I don't try to sell beats anymore .. I have chosen the tv/ film path so when I make a track it's for placement on TV .. but it's up to you what you want to do... Good luck..😀🙏🏾
@@learningreaper Thank you. Yeah, I'm trying my best. I'll start from now with two beats per week but will eventually do more. Maybe not two beats per week, it's gonna be hard for me for now. Maybe check out maschine expansions. I usually use them inside battery 4. So many to choose from and many different styles. 🎹♥️
Would like to see more insight about using FL Studio in Reaper.
