The piers of So Cal have nothing on the piers of New Jersey. Santa Monica Pier is a joke compared to this. The only one here that was comparable was Pacific Ocean Park in Venice, but that was closed before I had a chance to experience it.
Towards the beginning of every summer I come back to this video to watch. My parents always took me to wildwood all across my youth. I am 26 now and my father is no longer with us. Wildwood rides and experiences were some of the best times in my life. I told myself I won't go back till I have kids of my own to share that experience with. So every year I have to watch this video and just wait it out.
DeltastrikeX I definitely know how it is losing a parent... Both of mine are gone and I'm 32 and it's funny you say that because looking at this video makes me think of when I was a kid and how my mom use to take me to things like this (I'm from Florida and there are thing similar to this) and here I am now going to take my kids😄. It looks fun and I can't wait to make good memories myself. May God bless!
Ahhh the Condor and the slide were still there at the time of this video! I waited years until I was tall enough to go on the Condor, and when I was tall enough I only got to ride it once, because the year after was when they got rid of it.
