@@elevatoralarmcoasterandarc1214 On the video, it looks like a shallow slope, it feels like a 60deg drop but in reality it is maybe 40deg. I go every year and stil unable to take the drops without screaming.
Love it!!! I’ve ridden this flume so many time over the years. It has a lot of great features - my favorite part is listening to “Under The Boardwalk” - a calm moment out of the sun and quite relaxing!
The back half of this pier is is just like built on top of the waterpark its crazy. Like on Great Nor'Easter's drop your flying right above waterslides. Everything is so cramped together and it kinda reminds you of the hollow at Hersheypark but smaller and more compact.
This looks like a kick ass log flume, I really like the flume at Valleyfair !! Then Winnipeg gets the Red River Exhibition and they bring us a cool little travelling log flume called Niagara Falls lol. Can’t wait to eventually meet you Samson , and your crew 😎 💪 the good vibes are being sent as always buddy! Cheers 🍻
The first drop and the second drop are actually very close to the same size. The first drop starts lower but goes “under the boardwalk” (pun intended) while the second drop starts higher and goes on top of the boardwalk. I have enjoyed the Zoom Phloom since it first opened. One of my favorite rides.
Normally I wouldn't be a fan of a flume ride that's just barebones, no theming, no shade/trees, but the oceanside vibe of this one is just too cool to hate on it. The ocean views are spectacular, and being able to ride in and around the other rides is amazing! Also TWO big drops? Yes!
Neat. I didn't think that I've ever heard of Wildwood NJ before, but last week, I was digitizing some family photos (slides) from 1974ish, and one set was from Wildwood, NJ... and now in some sort of weird cosmic coincidence, i get presented this video, which i clicked on before realizing that it too is in Wildwood, NJ. :D
This ride is fun, but excruciating 😭😭 on the drops I lunched forward out of my seat since there aren’t restraints and hit my head on my friends seat INFRONT of me. Made great memories though and amazing view!
When I was 9 I went on the log flume I went down the first one I was dead silent because that was how scared I was and then I started crying and we needed to stop the ride so I could leave. I’m not really a fast ride person but this year when I go to Wildwood, I’m gonna face my fears and go on the log flume
There used to be a waterfall under the boardwalk. The boat hit a sensor when it got close to it and stopped the water for 10 seconds or so. We were on it 30? Years ago and the second lift hill lost power so there were quite a few boats in the tunnel. One pour boat got stuck under the waterfall when the water turned back on. Those guys got soaked.
3:05 is her job just to wave at people on the ride under the boardwalk before going up the 2nd lift? also, she's gonna get Under the Boardwalk stuck in her head.
@@EastCoasters Gotcha. Well if you haven't experienced them you should plan a trip. We got you easily beat in theming and intensity of most of our flumes.. Except Splash Mountain. RIP
Honestly one of the most memorable flumes around. This is what Jersey is known for. Enjoy guys, thanks for viewing 🥃
That’s really cool floating under the water slide in the shade
This is great for hot summer days!

One of my fav log flumes in the United States. I love this ride. That second drop is so steep.
How steep is the second drop?

That is such an awesome looking flume ride! I love the part where it goes under the boardwalk. Also love the ocean views coming off the second lift.
I love how the rides interweave.

I can remember when this was built… actually, I can remember when mostly everything was built on this pier.
This gave me so much nostalgia. One of the first log flume rides I ever got on. Thanks for the video.
My favourite ride at any amusement park is the log flume. Love these!!
Great log flume. Really clean water and great drops.😊
That really looks a long ride

I honestly really love this ride, I always have to go on it when im in wildwood! The last drop gets me every time though 😭😭

It’s very very good! One of my favorites🥃

I tend to go to Morey's Piers by myself most of the time, so I rarely get to ride it.

This feels super steep for a flume. one of the best in the usa.

Super Clear water!
Right?! So refreshing 🥃
They play "Under the Boardwalk" LOL
I rode this with my mom, and I was so scared, I actually did cry! I’m never doing it again.
I used to feel the same way when I was a kid. Now I absolutely have to ride this when I’m in wildwood.
This is one of the best log flumes in the country! Love to shoutout dark ride section after the first drop! 😂🤣
just left here we was their for a week at the seagull hotel .. nothing like the wildwoods
Dude I go on this ride every time I go there, it’s my favorite

This was a great ride btw I rode this at night
This ride rocks!
That´s clearly a watch ad! 🤣
One of the better log flumes😂
You r bound to get a wetto! 🤠🌊🤠
Seaside had the best flume on Funtown Pier but now gone many years now. Twice the size of Zoom.

she pulls the little kids off who are crying after the first drop.
I’ve been on that before!
How are you able to go to theme parks in the fall🤔🤔
Almost every theme park is open in the fall, but this is from summer 🤌🏽
@@EastCoasters ok
Easy you go in the fall😂
I loved when the great nor easter would go by at the same time at the 4:32 mark.
You do understand that Orlando, FL is in the East Coast... right?
I’m aware of my geography, yes. 🤌🏽
