FYI... I bought a much lighter shade to suit my skin tone and when it dried down, the color did not change. I was surprised since I had seen it here with my own eyes. Guess some shades do and some don’t. A little goes a heck of a long way. Everyone be warned! 😁
Damaris Rodriguez I did too.. I brought “medium peach” cuz I’m close to her skin tone and it did NOT oxidize I’m mad I brought a lighter shade for no reason 😭😭😭😭
What color did you buy that did not oxidize? I bought medium tan and it didn't oxidize and I'm kinda bummed about it since I'm 2 shades darker than her.
Letty Boo Hi! I bought the Fair Beige and Light Sand. I think I need a color closer to the Medium spectrum. I always use Fair or Light on all concealers from all other brands. Elf just runs super light, I guess. Hope that helps.
Just the fact that it doesn't need to be set is a massive plus for me. I can forgive the dry down colour change because 10 hours is decent enough for me. I'd love to know the absolute best (be it high end or drugstore), without separating the two categories, just your "this is the best concealer" full stop. I would love to see an ongoing list of your favorite concealers, the ones you will continue to repurchase. When testing a new concealer, does it knock any of the other concealers off the list of say Top Five Concealers??
I think if we need under eye corrector for darkness theres no concealer that will cover it without. I already know the most full coverage concealer I need under eye corrector without a doubt. Love your reviews!!😊💝
@emi No the concealers work but I meant if we wear correctors on a regular basis underneath we will probably have to wear with any. Shape tape works great. Huda works good. For complete coverage I use IT cosmetics bye bye under eye and or Becca, Nyx all work good. Only fair to use corrector when theres existing darkness. Idk if that makes sense 😊💝
WOW! I am amazed at the Elf Concealer, it really did well after 10 hours. I especially loved that it didn't settle into the fine lines too, that's a major advantage as is the price. I love the Milani. Concealer and Foundation liquid makeup I don't know how the stick part 1 is but I really enjoy their products. And I have a tan myself.
I ended up having to mix two shades as well because one totally oxidized on me. I love the formula but they need more shades and to also fix that oxidized issue!
I also have very dark circles and my under eye area is also deep set. I have the same issue u were having with the eye that wasn't color corrected, but I don't think that the concealer isn't full coverage enough. I think the dark circle really just needs to be color corrected. In my experience if I don't correct it really doesn't matter what concealer I use, my dark circle will peek through, so annoying. I've just gotten use to it, because I don't want to correct on a daily basis.

i got mine in tan sand and it definitely dries down to orange, even though it is a very yellow-based colour when wet.... and it goes even darker (i'm talking straight up RED) when i set it with powder! it also tends to pick up the product if I layer it, making it splotchy... it's disappointing considering how great the coverage and wear is - it feels like nothing on my skin but covers seamlessly
The tan sand colour in hydrating formula is completely different to the normal 16hr wear one!!! I'll have to buy the hydrating one a shade lighter. The matte one lasts a long time but it makes my under eyes SO dry

Your under eye is not typical!! You have super dark circles so this isn’t working for you as well as someone else, Ethnic back ground is hereditary for sure, but you’re gorgeous concealers are tricky

If the under eye is redish use green if its blueish under the eye use pink/peach
If your looking for full coverage you should blend it with a blending brush so it doesn’t pick up as much product like a sponge does
