He has about a 100 videos on Wildwood, where he demonstrates starts, tele's , Les Pauls', Gibson 335s and dozens of other types. He is very bright as well as accomplished, which is why thousands of people watch his reviews.
First, this guy is not only super funny, he's a MONSTER player. I own a Sheraton II and I put a burstbacker on the bridge. It's an amazing guitar (I own 2 Gibson les paul, an es-335, fender strat, telecaster, Gretch, L'arrivee, etc.) My point is, I am a big guitar snob with resources to get anything I want. DON'T let the name Epiphone scare you or think any less of it. Most of my guitars are new but I got a Sheraton II used on GC Atlanta (mint condition) as an impulse buy (yes, made in China.) Guys, this guitar sings, amazing tone, playability ,and the craftsmanship is super strong. I can put it against any of my far more expensive brand name guitars and it's of equal if not better quality. Noel Gallagher played live and recorded with this model guitar (we all know his huge rock sound.) If you get one you will not be disappointed.

Its Greg Koch :-) One of the best chicken pickers, and he also has a huge sense of humour. I also use a Sheraton II from 1996, she is a korean violin finished beauty. I changed the nut with Graph-tech one, the neck pickup with a Bare Knuckle "The Mule" pup, the keys with Kluson tuners, and the strins with Thomastik Infeld "12 swing strings. I dont know anything about the new models, but mine is a killer now :-)
This is great, E is for absolutely excellent guitar playing, very impressive. Makes me instantly want to buy this guitar. Makes me even wanna watch all his other demo's.
@@BrazenNL not exactly, casino is full hollow, this is semi. see the neck: the sheraton (which is as 335) has the neck fully out of the body. casino (which is as 330) has a lot of frets inside the border ... to prevent the thing to collapse I guess...
Greg did seem to spend an inordinate amount of time on the specs of the Sheraton II, possibly because of some push Epiphone made to boost sales. It worked, at least in my case. I love this guitar. Made in Korea, feels great to play, and sounds great. Definitely, as he says, good bang for the buck. The new Sheraton II Pro is made in China, but has been getting great reviews. Epiphone appears to be phasing out the standard Sheraton II. If having a Korean-made Sheraton is important to you, you may want to grab one before they're gone for good.

People think of this as a ES-335 copy, but that is not exactly the case. This guitar is build of maple, both the neck and the body, wich I suppose gives a more snappy sound. I have a Korean one from 1997, and it is a really nice guitar.
I bought one in black because I needed a hollow-body, its really nice, get it set up and you'll be amazed and I used to be one of those never epiphone guys. It sounds and plays as a good as my LP.

Picked up an Ebony Sheraton 6 years ago. Korean built, it's a beauty. Gorgeous to play and not too shabby on the sound. Curious as to what difference a pair of Lollar or Kinman pups would make, (would be 2/3 the price of the guitar!). Dig the playing by the Gristle King. Saw him in Austin at the Saxon Pub - jaw dropping playing, a great entertainer!
Sheraton is the the best bang for the buck out there. If a 335 style guitar is missing from your collection this might be the way to add one without maxing out the credit card
The guitar Noel Gallagher created the first Oasis album on, sold millions, before he went all rock star and started buying '65 335's :) Pretty certain he borrowed an LP from Johnny Marr for a couple of the tracks but this was his early go to guitar. And of course back in the day Epiphone was the high quality brand that Gibson aspired to match, not the other way around. Beatles cannot be wrong.

Carlo Cappelletti I consider with all the fancy appointments the Sheraton to be epiphones version of the Gibson Es 355 😎🎸

Spartanm333 In 1995 Noel player a Riviera, and from 1996 to 1998 the Sheraton was his main go-to.
He used Japanese Sheraton, or we can say Sheraton 1 with tailpiece.
Pretty sure marr's les Paul belonged to Pete Townshend from the who too
Definitely Maybe was pretty much all the Les Paul, 1960 I think.
I've watched quite a few reviews of this guitar and Mr. Sandman seems to be a popular song to play on it.. wonder why that is.
