Common these says. It's so resellers can't check the price vs value on the spot. This way when a reseller comes up and asks how much on a card, the seller can just tell them to shoot a offer and knows if the reseller is trying to lowball him.
Hey bud, been watching a lot of your vids and they're very helpful. I need some advice though. I've inherited a ton of cards of varying values and want to get some money for them. Would you say it would be worth while getting a table at a show and selling them that way, or price out a binder and sell them all at once in a binder?
Either is good, but I would probably say a show you’d have a better chance at selling since more eyes will be looking at your cards. Thanks for the support!
I see at shows, most dealers do not price cards in their showcases…is that just laziness on their part or do they want you to engage with them by asking prices?
ive experimented with pricing and not pricing, as a seller i did not see a difference in dollar amount or number of deals done but def had people say "hey i like all the priced stuff" and people also say "why no prices? then either "i dont like that" or "its a good way to get actually interested people talking to you about the card"
If I’m only selling 20 to 30 dollar slabs is it bad to price at 35 but willing to go down to 20 25 if person negotiates? I feel like if I price firm and ppl try to haggle and I won’t they won’t like that
So if ur selling chreaper slabs and the comp is 25 u price at 30 but willing to go down to 20 if they negotiate is this ick move will this turn them off or will they ask and negotiate
Great tips :) question, if it’s a hot player, like Ja Morant, should you price higher than comps? For example, I bought his card at 1500 a few days ago. Last comp was February 1st for 1650. Checked comps yesterday and there’s two new sales, one for 2149 and 2250 on March 2nd. So it’s on the rise, what would be a fair sticker price for a show this weekend?
I would price it at 2200. Ja is super liquid right now and people will pay top dollar for him. When a player is hot like that you can usually get 90%+. Hope that helps.
Nick, How can I get in touch with you? I am a former seven year NFL football player. A friend of mine has given me pretty much his baseball card collection he’s a multimillionaire. Great tips your video is one of the first one that popped up after I typed in the question how do I value baseball and football cards. I believe I have about 13,000 or 15,000 cards some of the boxes haven’t been opened literally ever every card looks like it hasn’t been touched but some of the plastic packaging looks like it’s holding about 50 cards a piece of variety of things wanted to know the best way to evaluate something like this is it more valuable if you leave it in the box because the box hasn’t been opened etc. etc. how do I get in touch with you?
🤔 can someone tell me who prices cards?? Like that’s the video I’m trying to find. What I mean is who is the person that says “this card is $5,000 and this card is $2.50”
The buyers are the one who make the prices, depends what someone is willing to to pay. It also depends on what the current comps are Especially for something that’s an auto or rare numbered card.
Good tips! I set up at card shows twice a month since April of last year. I also used to set up at shows during the 80s and 90s as well. I started posting youtube videos of card shows I go to starting with the show last week. Do you post your card show videos as well? Check out my youtube videos if you get a chance. Thanks for the content!
same! Got mine of amazon with rolls and ink for 12.99. have priced thousands of cards, i will admit it feels cheap. but no isses so far! probably wouldnt survive a high drop though.
One of my big pet peeves about shows is going to a table and seeing no prices on product.
Fr 😂
Great info...keep up the good work! Maybe a video on ways and where to find your inventory to resell. Thanks!
Nicely decorated

People are buying cards now that are very low numbered and stuff with no comps makes it very difficult
Nice video!!!
After having sorted by price, Do you organize by player/card type/or team?
Bro I just looked this up lol 😂 and happens to be I live in Tucson go WILDCATS🤘🏽

might be a mix of both

I bought a bunch of .25 or less lots, and hoping to have some awesome dollar boxes. Would you separate out $5 plus if I have time to sort?
yes I would

Could use help first show coming up next week

I never pay sticker so I figure price higher to leave room to negotiate but I don’t want ppl to think I’m overpriced
