Finally! Someone who shows people with automatic 3.0 Mitsubishi engines where the transmission plug is.
People with 2.4 Mitsubishi engines keep saying "You should find your drain plug on the side wall of the transmission."☺️

What is the purpose of removing the transmission gasket if there is no leaks and you can drain the transmission fluid removing only the bottom bolt ?

The stealership, buried the filter deep in the transmission, you have to take the valve block and Soliods off to get to it. Stupid design.

Rhashwin bro i got a question im changing my oil pan for my mitsubishi lancer 2004. Because i broke my drain plug for some reason im changing oil last sunday. Now its started leaking oil..My question is how long should i wait to dry the sealant before putting new oil? And should i put the sealant first before putting the gasket then sealant again? let me know the steps...This is my first time to to DIY this oil pan and gasket replacement. I want to save money because our mechanix charging me $275.00 the parts is only cost me $70.00 i m gonna save $200.00. I came to your site coz your my KABAYAN!! :) Thanks for the immediate reply...

if the gasket is rubber no need for sealant just make sure to sand the pan with 500 grit sandpaper and make sure its dry then u can put oil right away but make sure u torque it right with sequence but if the gasket is paper side by side put sealant its better to leave the pan overnight before putting oil just make sure torque it right with sequence

I have an 04 and wow wonderful SUV so many luxury features love it. However, I have the strangest problem. Previous owner had transmission rebuilt recently. It shifts super smooth and totally normal but when accelerating it makes a loud whirling turbine sound. Sounds like an airplane taking off. The faster the car goes the louder it is until about 90 mph then it goes away. I assume that's when it goes into overdrive. Fluid is good. Transfer case oil and differential oil is good. Any idea what this can be ?

@@asianmechanicguy6483 I hooked up my OBD to it no codes come up. Im thinking maybe a clogged filter but I know that's not accessible without major disassembling. I've worked on numerous cars quite a bit but have never seen this before. I had some mechanics drive it. They also don't know. With time I'll see if it gets worse then take it from there. Thanks for the info. Good video.

Armando Rios, it's your wheel bearings that are making that noise. It's hard to say which one: front, rear, left or right. I've had 2 Endeavors: one a 2006 2wd and a 2011 SE awd and I had the same problem with both of them. On the 2006 I replaced both fronts and a few months later the rears went out. On the 2011 one of the rears started to go so I just replaced all 4 at the same time and called it a day. I still have the 2011, runs like a champ.
