My Theory is that the Giganotosaurus didnt smell the Humans because of the Fire and Ashes and why He didnt See them could Maybe be because of the Fire too or a Genetic Problem so that it couldnt See as Perfect as other Dinosaurs, this something we know from the T-Rex and the Therizinosaurus or it was just completly confused because everything is Burning, it does See the First time in its Life Humans and its raining burning Locusts, this is at least how i explain to myself the scene
The theri was 100% blind. It was confirmed. The Giga is partially. Like it's eye sight is tampered with. A preventative measure in case it gets out. All of this has been confirmed through canon jurassic sites etc~

They really didn't do this guy any justice, it doesn't come across intimidating or like the cast are even scared to be honest. He plods along not noticing them right in front of his face and doesn't react to them in any way, they then act like he's gone the second they get top like they are not still nervous of his presence it's just so weird and underwhelming. The Thezo scene in the forest with Claire is the type of intensity and scary scene this deserved.
In the theatrical release, all Giga does is eat a grasshopper lol

I love watching characters in dangerous situations and knowing that none of them are in any real danger because of plot armor. So exciting!
Dude, EVERY fictional story has characters with plot armor. This is a movie, not a real-world scenario that was captured on film. You aren't watching a documentary...or playing a video game where you are in control of the character and therefore anything can go. Such a dumb thing to complain about.

I like this movie and I don’t regret it
I feel like the only possible reason the giga didnt kill them immediately, is that this is probably the first time the giga had people running from him. So he didnt know what to make of them. Like how a cat would paw at something or a shark would circle around them. It knows its there. It just doesn't know what to make of them yet.
Dinosaurs were not monsters. They’re animals. That’s why this Giganotosaurus wasn’t behaving like a mindless, blood thirsty savage. It’s an animal and behaved like one. Spot on!!

I don't think the plot used the giga very well, but I think the way it was presented was really good. I really enjoyed the territory dispute it had with Rexy over the deer carcass in the middle of the movie.

Well in the case of most if those, they were genetic hybrids that were bread to be killers. And for the Spinosaurus, there's a little bit of lore for Isla Sorna that the Spino was always an unstable aggressive animal.

was the true largest carnivore the world has ever seen .
Studies recently show it was definitely one of the longer carnivores but not biggest it was more adaptive to water. Paleontologists are trying to answer between the Giga or trex who was the biggest
I loved the fact when 1st jurrasic park came when Ian Malcolm by himself took trex away n now same scene recreated ....truly legendary scene 🤩🤩🤩
You know what made the T-Rex, raptors, Dilo, Spino, Pterandons, and even the compys so frightening and memorable back in the original trilogy? They all actually managed to kill somebody.

I love how Giganotosaurus behaves like a true predator. She tried her best to grab one of them for a meal, but when they started attacking her around her vulnerable areas (eyes) she backed off because above all else, all a predator wants is an easy meal.

By not only bringing Zeb the Giganotasaurus back which was not the greatest idea AND making Giant Locausts meant to feast on any grain not made by Biosyn to control how people eat, shows that Louis Dodgeson was NOT A NICE GUY!!! Thankfully he got what he deserved!
Zeb didnt even made something Wrong, i feel more sad for him since He wasnt as Evil like the Indominus Rex, Indoraptor, Scorpius Rex or Spinosaurus, it was for me as much a normal Predator as it is Rexy and to be fair Rexy killed some Humans, Zeb didnt even hurted one Human so for me it was a little sad that Theri and Rexy just killed him since He didnt deserved that

If these 2 were to ever meet (which they would never would Have done) A T-Rex would likley win
So why? 👇
1. Despite being bigger, Unlike T-Rex Giganotosaurus had a narrower skull which meant a smaller brain 🧠 so it was likely overall Less intelligent as a result.
2. It's eyes were parallel to the shape of its skull (in the film very accurate)
That meant it had much poorer vision than T-Rex who's eyes were facing forward (again accurate in Jurassic Park/World series 👍) T-Rex had exceptional vision possibly better than a Hawk!
3. T-Rex was a social animal and likley hunted in packs, so the numbers alone stack the odds against Giganotosaurus!
4. T-Rex had a MUCH STRONGER bite force, so even if it was 1v1 shown in the film, 1 bite from the Rexy would definitely be fatal! (and boring! 😂😂)
General : 5. As I said above, although they're both are in the same species of Bi-pedal (2 legs) Therapod Dinosaur type (carnivore), they never would have met!

Ian Malcolm did the same thing from the first Jurassic Park movie.
The Giga was extremely underutilized to the point of its existence in the movie honestly having no real bearing on the overall plot. Whereas in JP3 we may have only seen the Spino a few times but it had significance in the plot and was utilized correctly.
