0:53-1:24, I just love the intensity of this moment when Rexy and Giga circle and snarl at each other. Really makes you feel like something big is about to go down. Granted, yes, the fight was a tad disappointing and could have been a bit better in a couple of different ways but was still a good scene to watch.
By all means the fight actually feels like 2 animals fighting which suprise suprise isnt as epic as people think, its still cool but at this point it feels like people want a godzilla style fight and not an actual animal fight
I enjoyed the fight, I'm not really sure what people were expecting from it. It was short, simple, to the point. Anything else and people will complain it's unrealistic instead.
Honestly, this fight was a letdown because the Giga did not feel like a baddie. Even the earlier fight with them over a deer that was five seconds more satisfying.
I personally think that the giga Should not have won the fight against the T. Rex, Mainly because of now you know know the tea Rex was an absolute tank that would take on other tanks.
I love how the Trex and Giga were acting like territorial animals who weren't interested in fighting and only interacted because of a carcass but for some reason here in the escape scene they just had to fight for no reason
In that moment they were in a small area so in that moment it got territorial I guess. But yeah I would also say that they are not behaving like animals. they still can feel the heat and smell the fire, they should be stressed and trying to find a way to get more distance to the fire. Same goes with the carno in jw 2 who just hunted while a volcano was breaking out. zero sense in there
It's very clearly explained that they are fighting over the territory they are in. The earlier scene was meant to represent that the Giga is bullying the Rex away from food. in this scene the Rex (who is Rexy) has decided to fight for the right to eat anywhere. You're complaining about a scene that was explained.
Considering the Giga has no completed skeleton and is still missing many parts of its body, it's very difficult to say who would win between them. I don't think there is an answer of who is the "strongest" between Rex, Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus.

Probably especially since Alan and Ian both were smelled by Rexy (Alan when he was saving Lex and Tim, Ian when he was redirecting Rexy towards tge outhouse where she ate the lawyer) and since an animal of that size and nature would need an expansive memory to remember such things so yeah Rexy would recognize at least Alan, Ian, Ellie (due to Rexy chasing her in the "must go faster" scene which most likely happened cause Rexy caught a wiff of Ellie, Ian and Muldoons scent), and Claire and Owen (due to the scene in fallen kingdom where they took some of her blood to save Blue)
The thing I didn't like about this was how completely one-sided it was at first. Come on, the Indominus would've killed the Giga, and Rexy made that one work for it in World.

This is honestly about how I feel a T-Rex fight with a Giga of the same size plays out. In this case, the Rex is both much older (She's 30+) and possibly a lot loss well fed as we can see the Giga taking food from her early. "Rexy looks drunk" Yeah she may be suffering the start of starvation and this becomes a desperate attempt to save herself.
Since we’re going down this path, it’s HEAVILY implied JW Rexy is a weaker version of jp1 Rexy. Having been stated to have become old and as a result her muscles atrophied (which means to become weaker) meaning her body should be far more decrepit and less strong as it was back in her jp state. But then for JWD, time and time again are we told her mass increase signifies a higher level of power. With her being stated to have been “restored to her former glory” blatantly stating she’s back to how she use to be in Jurassic park which again is stated to be a superior version of JW Rexy. We also see this coming into fruition when comparing her official JWD model and jp model and them CONSISTENTLY retaining the same width and depth and sharing nigh identical frameworks. Now the very reason this has been done, was to actually boost GIGAS morale as a villain. Colin as said originally planned for him to be a ruthless killer akin to indom but another story writer comes and tells him he doesn’t need to do that and tells him something like that can be done more subtly. Which this subtle method was increasing her physical mass in order to show her power increasing. And Giga dominates this Rexy. Shown to have far more potent attacks on said Rexy than indom did on a weaker Rexy. This would mean the story being told here is as simple as Giga being superior to BOTH. And this narrative is given semblance through her bulk and her having an equal prowess to jp Rexy who as already bexplained is superior to JW Rexy. And yeah, they LITERALLY changed every little detail of her model to match her prime/jp So your argument is kind of flawed
I always bust my stupid a$$ into laughing when the BLIND therizinosaurus comes out of nowhere and just starts fighting the "Giganotosaurus"(I can't look at this crocodile figure and say it's a giga,sorry)
I like how this pilot that they introduce halfway through this movie is apparently the most badass person in the group. Just casually pulling out weapons and shooting at dinosaurs like its just another thursday evening.
@@darkwitch8648 The first season of La Brea was a cluster. (I also haven't watched any of the second season.) Too many characters resulted in too many storylines. And they used *heroin* as a pain reliever despite having access to medicinal marijuana. I couldn't believe it when I saw that. The acting was usually iffy at best, and when Gavin approached the government workers (in the first or second episode) and revealed that he was (somehow) aware of a VERY confidential mission and provided information he absolutely should not have had, they just blew him off and let him walk away! WHAT?!
I found this fight more enjoyable than the 'bull' T-Rex vs the Spinosaurus fight in Jurassic Park 3. I would also like to say that it would have come 'full-circle' for Rexy if she died from her 'severe' wounds shortly after her last battle against the Giganotosaurus.

Rexy is literally 32 years old in this movie, the fact that she’s still standing without a cane is impressive. She’s past her expected lifespan. They’re literally just using the trex as a punching bag in the franchise where as an accurate trex would molywhop both spino and giga lol

This isnt really a fight as much as it is an ass kicking. I mean rexy landed ONE hit, Which was a bite to gigas nose that barely connected. Nothing compared to spino vs bull or rexy vs indominus
I think the Theri should've been saved for a film where it can have its own main role. Now that they've used it, it's a bit less dramatic to bring it back in the future (which they will now, most likely).
It’s makes me wonder, since the first generation of dinosaurs came from “sorna”what species from sorna we’re in the valley? We know that buck and doe and the jp3 pteranodon where in there.

Sadly its been reduced to being in camp cretaceous, ever since then its just been in fan made projects, for shame the Spino deserves its rightful spot again like every large predator in history.

A movie about mutant bugs eating the world's crops. A movie about company espionage. A movie about dino trafficking and a movie about a comic bookish/manga Amelia Earhart pilot superhero, extraordinaire "badass". It was a crap sandwhich. At this point, any further sequels are merely made to sell toys now. The movies have become as bad as the Fast and the Furious franchise. Senseless spectacles. 🤢
It's kinda funny how everyone was upset about the Spino killing the Trex in JP3 and called it the worst movie in the franchise so they started making bigger dinosaurs for the Rex to fight...and not win at all against. Seriously the Giga and the Indominus kicked her ass and they had to bring in other dinosaurs to "win the fight" kinda proving JP3 right lol
This was a boring movie to end a beloved franchise, the same way they did to Star Wars. Is it really that hard to come up with a good story, before making it? Does the studio even think this through twice? We are so sick of it for such a beloved franchise only to get ruined.
How I would have handled the giga: Have the camera only shot at his feet when walking towards its prey,have him kill and eat a dreadnoughtus,make him stomp. Make him roar at dilophosaurs,follow the vehicle Alan's group was in,when fighting the therizinosaurus he decapitates him,and finally bite off Rexy tail tip.
Plot armor takes so much away of what the t-rex is really capable of but the same time it should've been more challenging to go up against the opponent in a hard fought battle instead of a side ally just randomly popping up.🤔

I get it's a nonsense fun kind of movie but tyrannosaurs pretty much kill anything the moment they bite down, the bite force they exert is absurdly high and would crush whatever it grabs. Giganotosaurs hunt large game by serration rather than strong bites which means they bleed out animals vs killing by crushing their prey. Simply put the giga would run from a trex the moment it got bitten if a chance to run was even given. I love giganotosaurs they are one of my favorites but even I have to admit when they'd lose.
why tf was the theri there. like what a fucking care bear rex fam. why they don’t just let the rex be the big bad and go on a rampage fr. i’d pay to see that.
That's what I call a team player. T-Rex knew he couldn't handle him by himself so he worked with the other dinosaur to put an end to that monstrosity. 💪

It's okay but it could've been a bigger and better fight plus I love Rexy cause she's the best both for an Anti Hero of the franchise and when she appeares a a good brawl starts plus both species we're the biggest carnivores that ever walked the earth between both rexys and her ancestors and gigas and the fight was meant for control and dominance of Top Apex predator and who truly stood at the top of the food chain and just like isla nublar the world an't big enough for both plus I was hoping for at least Rexy to get a little revenge for her ancestor moment

I grew up with the original movies and I’m in my thirties now but so help me I never get tired of dinosaurs and dinosaur fights

I think the Theri should've been saved for a film where it can have its own main role. Now that they've used it, it's a bit less dramatic to bring it back in the future (which they will now, most likely).

Spinosourus is missing i like mostly that carnivorous in Jurassic park 3 but after that they didn't use anywhere why?
Sadly its been reduced to being in camp cretaceous, ever since then its just been in fan made projects, for shame the Spino deserves its rightful spot again like every large predator in history.
Dunno why they love making the T-Rex every 1v1 against another large carnivore. Next you'll see it losing to a tarbosaurus.

Really felt like I was watching 3 or 4 different movies, wrapped into one but all going in different directions. A movie about mutant bugs eating the world's crops. A movie about company espionage. A movie about dino trafficking and a movie about a comic bookish/manga Amelia Earhart pilot superhero, extraordinaire "badass".
It was a crap sandwhich. At this point, any further sequels are merely made to sell toys now.

It's kinda funny how everyone was upset about the Spino killing the Trex in JP3 and called it the worst movie in the franchise so they started making bigger dinosaurs for the Rex to fight...and not win at all against. Seriously the Giga and the Indominus kicked her ass and they had to bring in other dinosaurs to "win the fight" kinda proving JP3 right lol

This was a boring movie to end a beloved franchise, the same way they did to Star Wars. Is it really that hard to come up with a good story, before making it? Does the studio even think this through twice? We are so sick of it for such a beloved franchise only to get ruined.

How I would have handled the giga: Have the camera only shot at his feet when walking towards its prey,have him kill and eat a dreadnoughtus,make him stomp. Make him roar at dilophosaurs,follow the vehicle Alan's group was in,when fighting the therizinosaurus he decapitates him,and finally bite off Rexy tail tip.

Plot armor takes so much away of what the t-rex is really capable of but the same time it should've been more challenging to go up against the opponent in a hard fought battle instead of a side ally just randomly popping up.🤔

Muy floja la pelea final, el round soñado era el giga vs el t rex y el spino, no se a quien se le ocurrió meter al therizi... si escena inicial estuvo bien pero para ponerlo en el final, muy floja está peli, jw 1 no es perfecta pero la pelea final del r rex y blue contra el indomi es excelente y salva el film

Its already come across of every film after 1 & 2 the trex being weak since that one scene from JP3 where the Spinosaurus cleanly takes out the rex.
Not sure why there had to be a "work together" moment against the giga....it's not like it was some form of hybrid anamoly
I get it's a nonsense fun kind of movie but tyrannosaurs pretty much kill anything the moment they bite down, the bite force they exert is absurdly high and would crush whatever it grabs. Giganotosaurs hunt large game by serration rather than strong bites which means they bleed out animals vs killing by crushing their prey. Simply put the giga would run from a trex the moment it got bitten if a chance to run was even given. I love giganotosaurs they are one of my favorites but even I have to admit when they'd lose.

That's what I call a team player. T-Rex knew he couldn't handle him by himself so he worked with the other dinosaur to put an end to that monstrosity. 💪
Monstrosity? Giga was anything but a monstrosity, he was an animal trying to protect himself.
@Trex91818 Since we’re going down this path, it’s HEAVILY implied JW Rexy is a weaker version of jp1 Rexy. Having been stated to have become old and as a result her muscles atrophied (which means to become weaker) meaning her body should be far more decrepit and less strong as it was back in her jp state. But then for JWD, time and time again are we told her mass increase signifies a higher level of power. With her being stated to have been “restored to her former glory” blatantly stating she’s back to how she use to be in Jurassic park which again is stated to be a superior version of JW Rexy. We also see this coming into fruition when comparing her official JWD model and jp model and them CONSISTENTLY retaining the same width and depth and sharing nigh identical frameworks. Now the very reason this has been done, was to actually boost GIGAS morale as a villain. Colin as said originally planned for him to be a ruthless killer akin to indom but another story writer comes and tells him he doesn’t need to do that and tells him something like that can be done more subtly. Which this subtle method was increasing her physical mass in order to show her power increasing. And Giga dominates this Rexy. Shown to have far more potent attacks on said Rexy than indom did on a weaker Rexy. This would mean the story being told here is as simple as Giga being superior to BOTH. And this narrative is given semblance through her bulk and her having an equal prowess to jp Rexy who as already bexplained is superior to JW Rexy. With them even matching every little detail of Jwd Rexy’s Model to match her prime/jp rexy

It's okay but it could've been a bigger and better fight plus I love Rexy cause she's the best both for an Anti Hero of the franchise and when she appeares a a good brawl starts plus both species we're the biggest carnivores that ever walked the earth between both rexys and her ancestors and gigas and the fight was meant for control and dominance of Top Apex predator and who truly stood at the top of the food chain and just like isla nublar the world an't big enough for both plus I was hoping for at least Rexy to get a little revenge for her ancestor moment
