Exactly, it really was, I cant remember the last time we even just had a Tuna sandwich, never mind a scone! SO good 🥰 - and yeah the architecture made it feel like England too , really loved it here!
My own rule, be it scones or toasts etc: the harder or more solid it is, the more it goes to the bottom. For eg chunky peanut butter, above it smooth peanut butter, then strawberry jam etc because jams are usually more watery while the smooth peanut butter is more dense, above the jam shall be our traditional kaya, and only above that comes the fluffy, full of air pockets, light cream. Of course there are 2 exceptions to the rule: butter spread is always the very first layer. And any garnish or topping like nuts, chocolate rice etc shall place at the very top. Yum! 😋😋😋

Kids, they are a handful ain’t they? Lol Anyway, Cameron Highlands is good to visit during weekdays, to avoid weekend crowd, especially since the roads are narrow due to the mountainous nature. There are many hiking routes to explore, but they may not be child friendly. The best way is to engage a local guide, and let them know your requirements. Not sure about about strawberries elsewhere, but it’s a seasonal fruit in Cameron Highlands, whereby you can get sweet or sour, juicy or not over different time of the year. Enjoy your time in Malaysia!!
You should try pure strawberry juice without any sugar just with ice cube @ Raju's strawberry farm recommended by the owner of that farm..ooooohh that so tasty juice ever

I put jam first and then the cream when eating scones since the jam is denser and thus won’t move around as much when putting the cream on top 😆
