- Next stop: Tanah Rata in the middle of the Cameron Highlands. After a little walk around town, it was time for Indian Food at Sri Brinchang Restoran. That was quite a treat for our hungry bellies 😋. After a good night’s rest, we decided to go for a hike and chose jungle trail #10. The first portion of the trail is steep uphill and the trees’ roots provide a natural staircase up the mountainside. Nice muddy & slippery! It’s a great workout and we had so much fun! After taking in the view at the top and seeing lots of clouds rolling in, we decided to call it a day and head back down the mountain. The same slippery route back.
On day two it was time to explore the Highlands on a scooter. We now know why they call this “the Green Bowl”. It’s truly amazing! And we also discovered WHY it’s so green here 🌧️. We visited the BOG Sungai tea plantation, the Big Red Strawberry Farm, the Smokehouse Hotel, and the BOH Heritage Tea Centre and got completely soaked by the heavy rain. It took us a few hours to warm up after getting back, but… we had a great time that we will never forget!

You went to Cameron Highlands from Melaka by bus? that's a long ride...if you're still in Malaysia we gonna celebrate Hari Merdeka at Putrajaya this weekend 👌
