You forgot to show one of the most significant changes for the morality meter-- if you're fully evil (morality meter completely red) a Klei staff member is actually summoned to your world.
he did see that we just couldnt see it becuase the footage corrrupted
He actually shows up to your house in real life. If you let him in you get a stern talking to and a foot up your ass.
Other significant character changes:
- Willow now loses Sanity when standing near fire, as it's unrealistic for pyromania to be good for anyone's mental health.
- Wolfgang's Mighty Form is now removed as it's far to unrealistic. To compensate, his normal form deals more damage than before and his Wimpy Form is faster, but takes more damage.
- WX-78 can no longer eat food and can only eat gears or anything non-food related such as tools because he's a robot.
- Wickerbottom's Books now need full stacks of Papyrus to make them, since full on books are more than just 2 or 4 pages.
- Lucy no longer talks to Woodie and the longer he holds it the more Sanity he loses by giving into his delusions.
- Maxwell now dies in only one hit from anything.
- More TBA in the next beta
The new hotfix also adds:
-Wes can talk and is voiced by Sr. Pelo.
-If Wanda uses any of her watches the dst world will be deleted due to a time paradox.
-Vodka can no longer be used as ammunition for the blunderbuss.
-Charlie can be fought. Summoning Charlie requires you to build a chocolate factory.
-A day lasts 24 hours instead of 8 minutes.
-Spiderman (sepeeate character from Webber) has 200 hp instead of 150.
-Shrek is able to eat the blunderbuss just like the other characters.
-Maxwell can wear the Codex Umbra on his head to het a 90% wetness resistance, this form is called "Codex Umbrella".
-Warbucks can be unlocked after 420 xp.
-Wilson is never gonna give you up.
-Due to Webber and Wormwood being too pure, dst cannot be uninstalled while any worlds exist with them.
-Warly can cook meth.
-The 1st half of every 4th autumn is replaced by dry season due to global warming.
-Nether portal requires 10 obsidians instead of 14.
-Adventure mode now requires an ancient guardian horn.
-Bee queen was removed.
-Bee queen was added.
-A special structure called "Noteworthy" was added which can link singleplayer and multiplayer words togethers.
-Noteworthy can be used to link Don't Starve Together worlds with Team Fortress 2 worlds.
-Harry Potter is no longer craftable.

You forgot the voicelines they added to specific clothing, along with the secret cutscene after beating Misery Toadstool with a hambat.
SPOILERS: Charlie shows up in the middle of the base and basically offs them all with a glock. I truly wonder what this will mean for the future of DST.

Honestly the rework for Wilson makes sense as everybody who is familiar with lore knows that he is a "scientist" so it will be nice to see finally him use "chemicals" as he does in lore often. Can't wait to see the teased drawbacks like hallucinations of that flying thing.
I know he's intended to be the starter character with no abilities, but it always bugged me that the librarian knows all the science recipes but the literal scientist doesn't
I think Wilson should have like special boss recipes. Like with deerclopse he could make like a summer jacket that acts like a cold thermal, with ant lion maybe allow him to make a new disguise item that is like a burrow. Ya know something that wouldn't have immediate benefit to the player in all actuality need to be a little skilled to use/get a hold of, and maybe for the ultimate prize, allow Wilson to be to craft a psudeoscience machine with the new crown and call it something like the enlightened science machine.
I think Wilson makes a lot of sense for that drone looking thing, since he is set for a rework along with Wx and Wicker. But because WX is also being reworked I think it's possible for either tbh

ik this is a joke video but wigfrids lore of being an actor equating to her insane fighting prowess really does not make sense at all
@@frey3448 well I just think it's similar to how wolfgang became so strong because of the constant.. So, Wigfrid is probably the same.. Suppose it has something to do with the world/dimension that they're in.. maybe if you wish something enough, the constant will bestow it to you, just like how wolfgang would love to become really strong and how commited and dedicated wigfrid is in becoming a warrior.. and also if you think about it same with willow, she loves fire so much she basically became immune to fire damage, she loved bernie so much he became alive to protect her or something like that.

Honestly I’m a little sad about this update because Wilson is my favorite designed character and I loved the other characters features. Seeing them differently after getting so used to the shorts and the game is kinda disappointing for me. But I’m pretty new to don’t starve so hopefully I get used to it.

You can gain morality points by putting on fire structures that were placed by players with low morality.
So it's a good thing in the long run to burn down a base.

I'm super hyped for this update!!! I think the morality meter and meditation mechanic ties in really well with the new tiredness meter that will require you to get a healthy 8 hours of sleep every in game day! Thank you so much Klei

Obviously they also nerfed pan flute making it give the enemies a nice refreshing nap boosting their attack damage by 90%
You missed one in the update OrangE,
Monster meat has been changed so that you now gain +5 health and +3 sanity and the same hunger value.
Monster meat now slows you by 25% for 4 minutes (half a day) resembling a stomach ache, this is removed if it's cooked. Monster lasagna gives +10 health and +7 sanity so it's still not worth to make it.
Interesting changes! Klei knows how to make great updates.
In addition to that, Klei made the Red Cap the strongest item in the entire game.
What it does is that it regenerates 40 hp per second for 20 minutes, and restores 200 hunger at the cost of you immediately turning insane.
Other changes include:
- Ham bat decreasing every bosses defense to 1 and it can now deal 165 dmg without Wolfgang. It also regenerates 200 hunger per 6 hits.
- Since Wilson is extremely smart, he has complete knowledge of every crafting in the entire game.
- Dark Swords only do 1 damage due to it, literally being a shadow. But it has infinite durability due to it being a shadow!
- Glass cutters only do 5 damage due to it being made of glass, and it now has a chance to break in one hit.
So are the ghosts in the graves not gonna attack us now? Oh wait... It's April 1st. Maybe I've been had.

I am suprised how little stuff this beta has. It really only has one mechanic of the naughty and nice content. Next beta must have the other 10 meters for naughtiness added and finally add the krampus trading

As a graphic design major i think the new visual direction will fit the game really well. It always bothered me how they forgot to fill in the characters hair, finally its getting fixed after nearly a decade

I had my calendar on the wrong day and was confused as all hell for a minute.
You sounded like you were on the verge of bursting into laughter when talking about the Meditation mechanic. I don't know why, this update seems so cool and balanced - I love watching my character do nothing to lower an arbitrary number so I can keep playing the game!
